Quaint little inn in the heart of Hampton. Very clean and enjoyable dining on premises. Lacks some of the modern amenities one is used to. The price to pay to stay in a historic inn. I would return if I needed a place to stay in Hampton.

The restaurant is pretty and has some history and spooky stories to it. I have been here a few times the food is pretty good. I usually get the surf and turf with the steak tips. The price is also reasonable.

My wife and I recently spent three nights at Lamies Inn. The room was comfortable and clean. The public soaces in the Inn were really nice with many interesting old photos, hot coffee and tea water available 24 hrs/day and fresh fruit in baskets for us. The staff was FIRST RATE - among the best we have experienced anywhere. To... More

Comfortable and homey. Felt like I was slipping under the covers in my own bed. Very happy about coffee any time - apples/oranges in hallways for snacks. Loved it. Definitely will be back for the Spring visit we make to New England.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights into our New England vacation and we considered it possibly the best stay. The inn was charming and cozy. Yes, the decor is dated, but that just adds to its charm. In the restaurant, we got a full lobster dinner for only $17 - wow! And in the bar, we conversed with... More

I booked Lamie's Inn through a third party service. After further investigation, I realized that we ended up in a room with one bed. This would not work for the three of us. Our daughter sleeps sideways. When I called the vendor back, there was nothing I could do and the person instructed me to call Lamie's directly. I did,... More

Location was great for our purposes but the hotel is sadly lacking in everything - carpets are worn, rooms are beyond tired looking and bathrooms are definitely the smallest we've ever seen. Even the bedding which was probably clean had long since passed the white stage. There is no lobby area of sufficient size to visit with family or guests.... More

chose Lamies as our homebase for our exploration of the area. We were there to visit several locations in the area. Lamies was easy to get find, and a breeze to get in and out from on our explorations. Staff were warm and welcoming. Even remembered us from a call we'd made prior to arrival to change our dates (... Bob greeted us upon our arrival and worked immediately to help us fix our online reservation error (for arrival one day later) and canceling it with Hotels.com. The hotel was on sold out status and no rooms were available. However he had a out of service room which he kindly placed us in. And filled us in on the hotels... More

Cozy, nicely maintained older inn. Room was quaint, clean and included mini fridge. Hotel personnel were friendly. Small breakfast with the best pastries included. Extreme well managed establishment. We had brunch at the Old Salt Tavern next door, food was delicious and portions were hearty.
