We recently spent a night at Lamies Inn, and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful. The room was fair-sized, clean and comfortable. And the had the best continental breakfast that i have experienced. Thanks!

Charming Inn with pleasant personnel. My sister & I were in town just a couple of days for a cousin's birthday party so didn't do anything except the party & hang out at the Old Salt Tavern (cocktails & light supper & Sunday Brunch). Had so much fun listening to the singer/guit

We continue to return every fall to Lamies. It's an older establishment, but well-maintained. We were delighted this visit to find a Thank You note (and two candies) expressing appreciation of our repeat business. Speaking of which, Lamies has a special rate if you let them kn

The parking lot was right below the rooms so the bar/restaurant patrons made the stay pretty noisy along with the thin walls. Rooms were comfortable and clean, but a little dated. Historical Restaurant was amazing! Also on busy corner so traffic noise as well.

The hotel is quite old but still in good shape. Very clean. Breakfast is just continental but good coffee and juices. Rooms aren't large but adequate for a short stay. Reception is pleasant. Be sure to note NO Elevator and the stairs are pretty steep. No bellboy service.

How are the wifi and mobile telephone reception now? Is it still necessary to stand in the street to get reception? Thanks much
It is not uncommon to have areas of no reception in New Hampshire

It seemed to be. It might not be the funnest hotel for kids, but I wouldn't hesitate to bring my 11 year old.

DO any of your two double or two queen bed rooms have a view of the ocean and are they away from the kitchen below and elevator?
We found the rooms very quiet, but we were opposite end from restaurant/lounge. There is not an elevator. The stairs are steep so if one may have challenges, request downstairs. The inn is located on the main drag of the town and the ocean is a short drive east.
