Hotel is absolutely disgusting..Room giving to us was not room that we got off hotels.com.Bathroom is extremely in need of a good make over from mold in the grout on walls to tub sink toilet and the rest gross!!!! It was 30 degrees and the hotel wanted to give us a room with space heater as he said he didn't want to turn on his oil yet. Supposed to be 28 tonight .I would highly suggest you check out other hotels in the area .Can't wait to see what the breakfast is saw the set up in the check in and it looks like a joke..
This Motel is similar to most along the Highway. The breakfast available was also similar to many other motels. Unfortunately not much healthy food. The rooms were fine and bedsheets were clean. I mentioned that I might be a little cold because the central heat was not yet on, so he gave me a “little Titan” portable heater. It worked perfectly. All was normal. Howard S.
Stayed here a few times over the years when I attend Mt Washington's Seek the Peak. I can use my airline mileage which is good but regular prices seem ok. This stay was for 2 nights. I was located in the front building set back a bit from the main road but the noise was not bad esp with a/c running. Do not expect any frills here – basic tiny room, bathroom etc. Clean enough (but don’t look too close) - Coffee maker & coffee provided, and mini fridge is always good. Pool on site where kids were enjoying and relaxing choice. Front office manager pleasant. Think they have some muffins & ? in front office for breakfast but did not use. It is definitely in need of updating but price was decent so did not expect much. Good loc on main street - close to stores, restaurants around. Get what you pay for – met my need.…
Ewwww. Dated, broken down and in need of so much updating, to even bring it into the 1990’s. If you are in desperate need of a place to sleep, the sheets at least seemed to be clean, but they covered a mattress that was beyond its useful life and the pillows outdated that. I tried not to look too hard, but the bathroom door had chunks out of the bottom, the tub needed cleaning and the shower curtain replacing. It was a $59 room at best and the charge was over $125. The two pluses were that it didn’t stink and the gentleman who checked us in was very pleasant.
We had a great, if short, stay at the Gorham Motor Inn. A clean comfortable room, showing its age but well cared for. We slept well and would enjoy returning when we are next in this area. Friendly staff made us feel welcomed. Conveniently located for local food and beverages.
We stayed here for weekend of 4th of July and the room smelled old and like mildew. We had no hot water and the tub would not drain. When you flushed the toilet it backed up in the tub. We were told for the hot water we were to let it run it was because of the weather. And to give the tub some time to drain. Seriously?!!!? Won’t be staying here again.
Some positives to this motel is that the location is perfect for hiking, atv, fishing, etc. It’s not far from Mt. Washington and other attractions. Parking lot is great for those pulling a trailer and atv. Staff we encountered were friendly and pleasant. We did come on Father’s Day weekend so we expected to pay more. However, the quality of the rooms DO NOT reflect the price tag that accompanied them. On arrival, there were random chips left in the bed and on the floor. The shower’s FRP board was falling off of the wall and water is getting behind it. There were also copious amounts of bodily hair left in the shower from a previous guest that were not cleaned out. The trim board in the bathroom is missing and the tile on the wall is falling apart. It was clear that our room was quickly given a once over but not cleaned between guests.…
I was very excited to learn that our hotel room came with a free pet. We named him Charlie, as he was the largest exoskeleton bearing cricket we had ever seen! Nicely renovated bathroom. Some ripped window screens. Very popular hotel for ATV folks in the summer. Slept comfortably, enjoyed the gatden/bbq area in the am. Pool hours were limited.
The room and bathroom needs some update, but it compensates with the cleanliness and amenities. They even had clean rags for car cleaning. The location is good and close to the area's atractions. I really recommend.
Traveling on motorcycles we stopped here for the night just because it was the first place for under $100/night. Bathroom in the room was not very clean, you could tell they just give it the "once over" with a mop. The FRP panels on the walls of the tub/shower were coming off, just partially held on with [sloppily-applied] rtv caulk. In all the hotels/motels I've slept in this one had... BY FAR... the worst, most uncomfortable bed ever. At least the room smelled OK. The door-latch on the room's door was loose and barely worked, at least it had a dead-bolt lock above the door knob. Just outside the door there was a concrete "slope" going from the threshold down to the step/porch, I slipped on that twice, it's an ankle-killer waiting to get you. Then, the free breakfast, when we went in the lobby at 7:30 there was nobody in there and very few items (danish, donuts, etc.) out to eat. Next time I'll sleep beside the road somewhere, it costs less and would probably be nicer. The pool was small but well kept.…
