XCSking, Fat Biking, Snowshoeing all right out your door. Wonderful bar and restaurant with fantastic service. Clean and comfortable rooms at reasonable prices. Convenient location with plenty of parking with EV chargers. This is a place we visit when we want to be sure that when we leave we will be very happy and satisfied with every aspect of our experience. This is a real gem with a view of Mount Washington.
We stayed here for just one night while visiting Mt. Washington. The hotel is located at the base of Mt. Washington right near the entrance of the Auto Road. This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. It was spotless and there wasn’t a speck of dirt in the room, bathroom, hallways or lobby area. They keep this hotel very clean and neat. The lobby area was very nice with views of the White Mountains and Mt. Washington. The room was a nice size for my family of 4 (2 Queen beds). The bathroom was quite spacious with modern shower. The bed and linens were soft and comfortable. We stayed on a Wednesday night and unfortunately the Notch Grille is closed for dinner on Wednesdays and Sundays. However, we did have breakfast there the next morning and it was very delicious and plentiful. Our server gave us complimentary blueberry muffins which were amazing! Food was reasonably priced. The back patio and fire pit are very nice. Wish we could have stayed another night to sit out by the fire pit, but I imagine in the fall this would be a wonderful experience. If you are visiting the White Mountains or Mt. Washington, I highly recommend staying here. …
You can’t beat the view at The Glen House! But even better than that are the people that work there! Everyone is so friendly, and wants to make sure you’re happy! They’re very ready to offer suggestions for things to do and places to go! They make the stay better! The rooms are comfy and clean, well kept, great place to lay down after a long day on the trails or just to sleep in or just to relax and enjoy the view! The Top Notch has delicious food, hands down! Every meal is perfectly delivered using local ingredients that are full of flavor and keeps you coming back meal after meal! The lounge is quaint with comfy seating and a warm fireplace. The bartenders are attentive and make delicious drinks to enjoy, looking out the expansive windows onto the mountains. I love this place and will continue to make the several hour trek to stay here, it’s beautiful no doubt, but the people make it the best!…
What an incredible property! Steps away from all the action of the white mountains, quiet, serene, just true beauty. Upscale amenities, modern log cabin feel, and high quality pillows and bedding ! I didn’t want to leave.
Our stay at Glen House was fabulous. We had the Snowcoach Package which I highly recommend. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet, with a breathtaking view. The food was great too. We had Jackie as our waitress for our 3 nights there. She is the very best - so accommodating and efficient. With all its amenities - indoors as well as outdoors, this is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. My husband and I can’t wait to return!! We felt welcomed from the time I booked reservation until departure. The Glen House and it’s employees (family) are truly top notch!
We really enjoyed our two-night stay on a recent ski trip. Excellent value for a modern, clean, well-run hotel. The staff is welcoming and professional. The food is good and well presented. The bar is attractive and very well stocked, offering a nice variety of beer, wine, spirits, cordials, and craft cocktails. The one complaint we had is that the barstools, likely removed due to COVID, have yet to be replaced. The hotel is located near many winter and summer activities. We would stay here again.
We have enjoyed our stays at Glen House. Check in is quick. Rooms are large, comfortable, and well apportioned. The staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient. The restaurant has excellent food for both dinner and breakfast. The location is adjacent to the cross country ski trails and all the activities at Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center. We will be returning soon.
Excellent customer service. Views were amazing from the bar and restaurant. Good menus for breakfast and dinner. My only complaint was the water in the indoor pool was quite cold. Also, would be a big bonus if they had a hot tub.
Fantastic place to stay! Went on the Snow Coach up Mt. Washington and had a great time. The Glen House has the nicest, best employees I’ve met. Their restaurant food was very good and reasonably priced. Very clean and organized. Looking forward to going back next year.
