Sandi and Fred make you feel at home in this historic inn. From the moment you walk in the door you see the charm and feel the coziness of the Marie Atwood Inn. Sandi is delightful and very welcoming, The antiques that adorn the inn are something to be marveled. The rooms are very warm and welcoming. We stayed in...

Thanks for the great review. We thoroughly enjoyed your stay at the Inn. Maple sugar season (AKA Mud Season) is often a slow time of year for us and having fun guests like yourselves to visit with is a very pleasant opportunity. Best regards.

Our family gathered here for a ski-weekend--charming historic home with warm hosts, Sandi and Fred. The grandchildren loved exploring the special nooks and back stairways, while the grown ups visited in an upstairs den. Cookies and cold drinks provided a feeling of home and breakfasts were delightful--Sandi's scones--sheer bliss! Beds were comfortable, rooms spacious, and the entire atmosphere of the...

Obviously, we welcome such a glowing review but it was our pleasure to enjoy your lovely family almost as much as you apparently enjoyed the weekend. Thank you for choosing the Atwood inn.

My husband and I are world travelers and generally stay at the Four Seasons. We highly recommend staying here for a get away vacation, romantic weekend or if you are just passing through. Wow! We love the comparison, but as we have experienced over & over, it is the guests who really make the visit a success. So - you obviously did a great job :) Thanks for the wonderful review.

Great room - perfect for a night after skiing nearby! Wonderful hosts and amazing breakfast. Our kids (aged 8 and 10) loved talking to Sandy and Fred. Very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated and updated. We are already planning another weekend to ski and stay with them.

This is one of the most delightful B and B we have stayed in. Sandy and Rock are wonderful hosts and the house is full of character. Franklin town is run down but Tilton has some great eating places .

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfasts were especially enjoyable, and the hosts (Sandi and Fred) went out of their way to make us feel at home. In addition to serving some of the best breakfasts we've enjoyed in years of traveling, Sandi and Fred engaged all their guests in great conversation, something...

This is a lovely inn with friendly hosts, beautiful decor and large updated bathroom with lots of water pressure on the third floor. The breakfast was honestly the best I've ever had at a B&B. I will definitely go back there if I'm ever in the Franklin area.

We stayed two nights at the Atwood B&B in the Webster room. The bed was comfortable, room was nice and loaded with character. Our only complaint was the bathroom... quite small and the tiny stall shower had some plumbing/flow issues, perhaps understandable with a 200 year old house. The hosts were very gracious and breakfast was marvelous, especially the much-discussed...

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that the shower head let go during your stay. We had quite a mess on the floor below before that was resolved, but you were very considerate about the problem. It is true that the Webster bathroom (especially the shower) is a bit tight. We will put you in a room that...
