We had a great time at this inn. Our room was comfortable, but, of course, old and quirky. The bathroom door didn't completely close despite signs to be sure and close it. The staff was attentive, and the inn had so much to offer. We had to carry suitcases up three floors because there is no elevator, and the rooms... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights here in late October and had a great time. The hotel is a lovely mix of being both classy and really relaxed. The food was always of an excellent standard, particularly the breakfast which was the best of our trip. The staff were always freindly and there whenever we needed them. Great room,... More

Stopped here on the way through to Bretton Woods. Attractive public rooms and a very pleasant lunch with amusing and attentive staff. Watched the gliders take off across the road. Peaceful and relaxing area

We stayed here for 4 nights early in October. The inn has a relaxing feel. Our room was comfortable but, certainly, in need of some modernisation. The staff were generally welcoming and helpful in all parts of the hotel. Breakfasts were very good and the dining room was a nice place to start the day. We ate in the bar... More

We needed a place to stay on our travels, and this was perfect! Great dining room, a cracking fire in the lounge with apples to snack on, a lovely location and a beautiful room! Wish we could have stayed longer, everything is here in one place!

It was such a quaint place, fire place in the living room area and it was quiet and relaxing.Biggest problem, the internet. It wouldn't work in anyone's room as everyone was down in the living area using it. Then, the morning we were to leave, it wasn't working anywhere and no one was at the front desk to reboot it... We had stayed at the Franconia Inn several times more than twenty years ago, and we decided to go back for a night in October. Unfortunately it was a very rainy night! Our room was cozy and inviting- it was a 'standard queen' room- and everything was clean. The bed was comfortable and we had two easy chairs with a... More

The inn has many good qualities. The dining room management and the restaurant servers are very well-trained and do a first class job. The menu is extensive and the food served is of good quality. The public rooms are comfortable. There are many activities on offer. The porch is a great place to watch the gliders and small aircraft take... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this Inn with another couple and were very pleased. We took the package with breakfast and dinner included which I totally recommend! Breakfast had a great selection and dinner was a fantastic four-course meal. It was a great place for relaxing and the service was excellent. We also got a great deal... More

Our travel agent had booked us into this B&B, which, at the time of booking, had only one night available. The guests seemed to belong to two large groups, so there was a rather "clubby" atmosphere. The inn itself is, I would guess, at least 50-60 years old, and maintenance has been deferred to a certain extent. As an example,... More
