We found the motel very clean, but small and quite rustic. The owners were helpful and kind. The grounds were plesant, and close to all of the places we wanted to see. We were a bit disappointed in the actual room itself.

As the previous reviewers have said, the Stonybrook is in a beautiful location and the owners, Pauline and Tom are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The motel is about half a mile outside the village itself, though it's only a ten minute walk to the nearest bar/restaurant. On our first night we saw a big black bear crossing the road...

This is an excellent Motel located in a beautiful place. We spent several days and loved the gorgeous location. Its biggest asset are their owners and staff. Very helpful at all times, always providing nice advice on activities to do in the area, restaurants where have a nice meal, etc.

This is a roadside motel backed by a river. It is set back from the road quite a bit so street noise is not a problem. Most of the rooms are laid out in the motel fashion of the 60's. There is a lodge building that has a few rooms as well. There is also an indoor pool. There are...

I knew when I talked to Pauline the day I made my reservations that this would be a wonderful experience - and it was!! The rooms were so clean, the bathroom unusually large, the bed most comfortable and all the linens were in very good shape. The ability to control the A/C and heat in the room was also very...

We spent one night here with friends. The owners are super and will do anything to help you. She printed our boarding passes for our airline, gave us restaurant advice, helped us build a fire outside along the stream, came to unlock our door when we locked the key inside, and did it all with a great attitude and smiling...

Beautiful property! Wonderful people and a safe comfortable room with everything you need, what more could you ask for. We spent seven nights this august at Stonybrook, and could not have asked for a better experience! The room was spacious and we loved the large closet area with a huge shelf, hooks and suitcase racks. It made it so easy...

Are you looking for a lovely, clean, beautifully landscaped, peaceful place to stay? You'll find it, as we did, at the Stonybrook Motel & Lodge. The owners, Pauline & Tom couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. All we can say is THANK YOU!! The White Family Manchester, CT

What a great motel in a beautiful place. Our room was clean and the owners could not have been nicer. The lodge is beautiful and would be a wonderful place to relax after a long day of skiing. The price was right, too. Would definitely stay again.

Thank NovemberMom
