Last summer, a colleague and I attended the wonderful Anja S. Greer Conference at Phillips Exeter Academy. After checking out the literature and phoning Jamie at the Inn, we decided to stay at the Inn instead of staying in the dorms. This was the best decision!! The accommodations and our hosts were superb -- the wonderful morning breakfasts, getting great...

Thank so you so much for taking time to write such a lovely review of our Inn, and of Jaime especially: this means a lot to us. The Inn is becoming the destination in Exeter and the Seacoast. We thank you for your kind words and getting the word out! We look forward to welcoming you back to "your home...

We arrived and were immediately upgraded (granted ... it was a quiet weekend). Jamie went out of his way to make sure we were accommodated.. bringing cheese and crackers, starting breakfast 2 hours early because we had to leave. Everything with a warm smile. Very clean and comfortable. We will be back!

Just spent an enjoyable rainy night in front of the enormous fireplace in our comfy room. On our way, we had received a call confirming our arrival time so that we could be welcomed out of the rain and offered tea/coffee. We ventured out for a great meal in Portsmouth that night and the next day had a delicious breakfast...

Highly recommended, historic inn on the Exeter square. (Well, really it's a T, not a square.) The large rooms are charming, with deliciously comfortable 4-poster beds, gas fireplaces and all the right decorative touches. But also modern additions like a small 'frig and a flat-screen TV. (Although we used neither.) Our third-floor room overlooked the bandstand – sweet! – and...

Gorgeous restored inn in the heart of Exeter with warmth and hospitality that oozes from every nook. Jamie, Tino and Rebecca treat you like you are family from the moment you arrive. The rooms are beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, sitting areas and writing desks. You won't know a stranger here. The breakfast is first class. Looking out the breakfast...

Thank you so much for taking time to write a review about your experience at the Inn. And I love the part that you "won't know a stranger here". We felt very well cared for by Jaime and Rebecca. The Inn is absolutely stunning...each room unique with lovely furnishings etc. There was even a bowl of fruit and a carafe of sherry to relax with. The breakfasts were lovely. We highly recommend this as a weekend escape.

First, thank you for taking time to write a review. And secondly, and equally important is thank you for such a lovely review. This is the perfect destination for couples who just want to get away from it all...escape to a bygone era when things were a bit slower: enjoy the Inn and its amenities and walk around our lovely...

An exceptional inn run by wonderful people. Highly recommend this for a one night or longer stay. The room was comfy and unique. Loved the back garden and patio. Best of luck to Jamie on the opening of the new restaurant. Jamie helped us find just the right places to see and explore. We particularly appreciated his knowledge of the...

First thank you so much for taking time to write a review about your stay with us. We are extremely conscious of our guests needs as we put ourselves in their places frequently asking "What would I want and expect". So thank you. And yes, the Louis Kahn Library at Phillips Exeter Academy is a destination of in its own...

Thanks so much for taking time to write us such a wonderful review. We hope you will make this your destination when you want to get away from the daily routine of life. The fall is beautiful with our fireplaces available in 7 of our rooms. Until then, much health and happiness.

What a lovely Inn! The rooms are beautifully appointed. Jaime (Innkeeper) was wonderful and very helpful throughout our stay. Rebecca's breakfasts were amazing! Worth the extra money (compared to a standard hotel) to be spoiled rotten! Location is perfect - walking distance to the town of Exeter and the Academy.

Thank you so much for taking time to write your review: it is very much appreciated. We try very hard to exceed our guests' expectations and with Rebekah's breakfast that usually does the trick! Thank you and we hope you tell others about our destination. Be well.

This is one of those places that we will fondly remember long after other holiday memories have faded. The rooms are full of old world charm, beautifully presented and continuing the historic heritage of the Inn. We arrived hot and tired after cycling from Newburyport. The welcome was instant. A place to relax and enjoy in a very central location...
