It's been many years since we visited the Rockhouse Mountain Farm, but we still regard it as one of our favorite stops. The experience was wonderful! We were there for the fall foilage, so we got to see the trees in their full glory.

Alana and John will make you feel like family. Eaton Village is a little gem. Go in the summer and swim in the lake. Go in the fall and be stunned by the autumn beauty. This is off the beaten track but there are other great attractions including some wonderful restaurants in nearby inns.

I have been going back to Rockhouse Mountain Farm Inn since I was 8 years old. I went with my father when I was young and later my boyfriend came and then after we married we brought our children. The farm and the overall surroundings are very nice. The kids loved the freedom to safely roam around the grounds without parental supervision. Overall the other guests were very friendly (some with kids and some without). The breakfasts were typical fair generally consisting of eggs, oatmeal, fruit and then pancakes or french toast. Rockhouse is a fantastic vacation for a family, or anyone who wants to be pampered with excellent breakfasts and dinners, a great spawling comfortable house and grounds, and a warm, clean, accessible private beach on Crystal Lake.
