On behalf of the Buschle/Kutz wedding party, October 8 and 9, 2016, a great big shout out and thank you to your whole staff! Both the wedding rehearsal dinner and the wedding reception were held at the Inn. As father of the bride, I was taken aback by how many of our guests were effusive in their praise of your...

Wonderful old inn with a great history! If you enjoy historic houses make sure to request a room in the actual house as many rooms are in the barn. We just lucked out and were on the third floor of the 1649 house. Some say there is a ghost but we weren't lucky enough to see her. The stairs are...

A pleasant surprise in the heart of Durham. You would never guess that you are so close to the college. The inn felt like it was a retreat, far away from all of the noise and chaos. My boyfriend and I enjoyed dinner in the tavern and the complimentary breakfast in the morning. The bed was very comfortable and the...

Dear Soccermom, Thank you for taking the time to review Three Chimneys Inn. Much appreciated. Your complaint of a lack of a night light in the bathroom is not lame at all. Having seen the same complaint on a comment card left here at the Inn we have begun installing night lights in the guest rooms. Thank you for staying...

The Tavern is great and has a wonderful cozy environment. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and the food very good. We had creamicle martinis that were delicious and for dinner had their seared ahi tuna and the shepherds pie. Both were excellent. I would definitely recommend a dinner in the downstairs tavern.

My daughter and I wanted to get away for a few days and see some Fall foliage and just relax. We did a search on hotels in NH and thought this place sounded interesting. Well, we were beyond impressed! This is an old inn, built in the 1600's and renovated, but keeping with the original style and just upgrading the...

In the middle of Durham but feels totally out of the way in a great way. The reception was friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, super comfy, and stylish. The tavern where we got a late drink was also cozy & barn-wood tasteful without being to cute-- a perfect place for a light meal and/or a drink. I understand...

Room was very clean and full of charm. Bed was comfortable - the only issue we had was our air conditioner didn't cool the room down enough for us. My mom's room next door was a good 5-10 degrees cooler. Other than that, very comfortable. Grounds are beautiful and breakfast was awesome !! Staff couldn't be nicer. Very homey and...

We've stayed twice as part of our relocation to the area. Room 3 is over the reception area in the main house. Room 9 is in the bottom of the carriage house, and is one of their dog-friendly rooms. Both rooms are good sized, with sitting area & fireplace. Room 9 has a jet tub, Room 3 just has a...

Finding an accessible B&B is always quite the challenge. The rooms were super with plenty of space for my wheel chair to move about. Great breakfasts and the dinners were above and beyond! Super friendly staff and the outdoor patio is the perfect place to enjoy a drink or dine.

My initial thought upon reserving a two night, mid-week stay at the Three Chimney Inn was how quaint and antique it must be expecting creaky wide pine floors, old plumbing and maybe a good dose of history during our stay. Imagine my surprise when we were warmly greeted and ensconced in a room with the best a/c, modern amenities and...
