Whilst on holiday from the UK we stayed for 3 nights, accommodation is very comfortable and Mary Jo and Scott make you feel very at home. Peaceful location, lovely home cooking and would return with no second thought. This was our first B&B experience so if future ones are as good as this we will be very happy.

Stayed Labor Day weekend at Colonel Spencer Inn. Located close to main highway but far enough away not to hear any noise. Mary Jo was a perfect hostess (and cook). Enjoyed having breakfast with other guests and mingling with our great hosts too. Room was comfortable as well as bed. Could use a bit more water pressure in the shower...

Great house to stay at. Wonderful revolutionary war history to the home. The best breakfast we have ever had at a B&B! Would stay there again. Made us feel very welcome. Near some wonderful mountain trails, like Welch mountain.

Mary Jo was a great host! Her breakfasts are delicious. The property was beautiful and has great rustic charm. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Great location -- quick ride into downtown Plymouth and easy access to the highway. We will definitely be going back again!

My wife and I stayed here at the end of January for a ski and Birthday weekend. I had asked Mary Jo if it was possible for her to have a special Birthday cake in the room when we arrived to surprise my wife. When we got there, Mary Jo pulled me aside and said that the baker could not...

We greatly enjoyed our two days at Colonel Spencer Inn, its an attractive looking building with relaxed and friendly hosts. We usually motel and this was our first ever B and B in the US, we were charmed with it. The bedrooms were pleasant and comfy with classic furnishings and quilts. There was a big room downstairs for guests with...

We just spent three of the most laid back relaxing days imaginable. MaryJo and Scott are most gracious hosts. Fresh muffins, omelets. Peak colors in a perfect setting. Great location, easy to find and made for a perfect vacation.

Overall, I recommend this inn if for the price; it is more affordable than other lodging in a similar or higher class. The rooms are impeccably clean and the beds are cozy and have nice bedding. We were very appreciative that they allow dogs, which is not very common. When we arrived, there was a waiver form with a list...

I was in the area to attend a concert in Plymouth and found the Colonel Spencer while looking for nearby lodging. More competetively priced than any other B&B or motel. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed and welcoming hosts. Breakfast was delicious, also. Beautiful area, also. Felt right at home.

What can I say, the food is absolutely wonderful! Campton Inn is a small cozy place which is a good jumping off point of anything you would care to do in that region whether that is ex: enjoying the Boogie & Mountain Blues Festival in August or maybe attending one of the many offerings that are in Plymouth NH.

“The Blaisdell Room faces towards the back yard (parking - quiet), is relatively small and OK for a couple of nights. For longer stay, when you need to unpack your suitcase, it may be a little more cumbersome.”

“I stayed in the Baker room and my friend stayed in the Blair room- these rooms are a little larger than some of the others and were very nice. They were surprisingly quiet even though they face the road. I suspect that each of the rooms in this Inn are very comfortable. For particular needs, their web page has a good description of each room.”
