A basic motel with large rooms, Wi-Fi, cable TV, room phone, etc. Quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Pet friendly. Excellent location - cross country ski centers and snowmobile rental offices less than five minutes away, local restaurants a walk away, North Conway malls, cinema and restaurants 10 minutes away and Attitash downhill slopes three minutes away. Ideal for skiers. A good...

Gross, smelly, dingy. Beds had to be 50 + years old. Would have been unhealthy to stay in that room.

We found ourselves at The Villager for the night on Memorial Day and the opening weekend of Storyland in NH. The Villager is a small, family run establishment. Our kids loved the trainset and toys in the yard. My husband and I loved the rates, the air conditioning, the cable tv and the good nights sleep. When you travel on...

Stayed one night here whilst touring the area. Run by a friendly family, other guests all pleasant too. Our room was large and clean, if dated. Breakfast was included with waffles, cereal, juice and coffee. Relaxed atmosphere, good basic and low budget choice, we literally just slept here and moved on the next day. Downside is that there is nowhere...

We were traveling during the Columbus Day weekend (and Canadian Thanksgiving) - so admittedly, it was probably more expensive than usual. We paid $335 (for 2 nights, 4 people 2 queen beds). The overall impression was of a property that was a little run down and in need of updating. The office leaves the worst impression - kids shoes &...

pros: quiet motel, price, clean cons: dated, not the most comfortable beds, charged us USD8.50 booking fee (for using expedia), ancient TV, poor breakfast Not sure if we'd stay here again, cheap yes but very basic.

When we first checked in I was a bit worried as the check in office was not very clean, dirty carpet etc. and the surrounding gardens were a bit neglected, however when we opened the door of our chalet we were pleasantly surprised to find a lovely big clean room with windows and doors either end................very clean and very bright.....

The Villager was a last-minute find for a trip to the White Mountains area of New Hampshire. I can't say enough nice things about the Villager. The owners, staff and even the guests were the most uniformly friendly group I've run into in a long time. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well-furnished. Our room also had both a microwave...

We stayed for five nights and rented one of the cabins. The "included breakfast" was cereal or waffles, with juice and coffee (that's it) - not much variety. It wasn't fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was good for many hiking destinations and not too far from Conway. There were...
