The hotel is dated and tired, and I guess that is partly the look they are going for. The room was very small, but the bed very comfortable. The lounge area is full of history and has a good atmosphere. Food in the restaurant was distinctly average and rather expensive. However, given that there are unlikely to be any better...

We skipped the bbq/brewery across from our hotel to eat here. Next time we will come here for drink and go to other place or order pizza. Hotel is great to visit. Have a drink. Atmosphere is very old west. Music was great. Good was horrible. Special appetizer was potatoes skins. We went for it. Got one choice of salsa...

Wife and I traveled to Reno NV from Las Vegas, NV area and stopped at one of our favorite stops enroute, the Mizpah Hotel in Tonopah. Had a great lunch while visiting with a fantastic bartender who updated us on the soon to open casino next door (scheduled June 2016) and the goings on in the area. Conversed about our...

Staying at the Mizpah Hotel is like being transported back in time. The hotel check in was fast and the receptionist pleasant. The salon/bar area is furnished with furniture you'd expect to see in an old western. However, it looks new. We had a superior room which was small by modern standards. Even though the ambience is Old West, the...

My wife and I were lucky to be able to stay at the Mizpah for two nights. It was fun to walk around the restored hotel. It was great to enjoy a glass of Cline wine at the old bar and play a few slots. We were in town to go on a turquoise mining tour at the Royston mine...

After a long Nevada desert traverse towards Utah, we stopped in Tonopah and decided to have some sort of Salad for lunch at the Hotel Mizpah. In the Pittman Cafe we asked for a Ceasar Salad but was recommended the Cobb Salad instead, and by all Means it was a huge meal for both of us. Deliciously served and almost...

The owners of the Mizpah did a fantastic job bringing this hotel back to life! They deserve an award for preserving this historic hotel in its original form. We did not spend the night, but took advantage of the bar/lounge and dined at the Pitman cafe. The food and service at the Pitman was excellent. We had so much fun...

It was like walking into a Western movie! Great decor, it's so nice to see that they're keeping it as original as possible. The bed was quite comfy. My husband went to get coffee in the morning though and there was none left. We're also wondering if that was a bullet hole in the lift door! I bet this place...

We have just returned from another southwest jaunt, and made sure to include a night at the Mizpah. We got into the elevator with another gentlemen who had just had an unusual experience with his hat being tugged and a penny falling out of it! That fun aside, the bed was as wonderful as remembered, and a very restful night....

When i walked in it took my breath, gorgeous bar, chandeliers everywhere. After sitting and having a soda i ordered the mitzpah burger, omg it was amazing....
