All rooms are disconnected from the casino... The parking lot between is not lit at night! The front desk is rude & non-assisting. The cocktail waitresses take forever to beverage you while you play!!!

Thank you for the review. We'll look into getting better lighting in the parking lot. We're sorry about the rude staff you encountered. That is very unlike us and we'll look into this matter further.

I've been coming to the Lakeside Inn and Casino in South Lake Tahoe for over 35 years. I've stayed at most of the major hotels and motels. I refuse to stay anywhere else but the Lakeside Inn and Casino. I feel like I'm home when I go there. It's cozy, clean, friendly, and most accommodating. Pam Wheeler, Marketing Manager, needs...

We booked 2 nights, through Hotwire and that was a big mistake.. the place is more of casino's motel-- the rooms are in the parking lot and the therefore the view when you open the door is of a dirty parking lot and a street on the other side... The rooms with 2 beds are not like the pictures on...

We are sorry to hear that your experience wasn't a good one! We will take your review to heart and see what changes we can make. On a positive note, we're glad Katherine in reception was able to offer wonderful service. We'll be sure to let her know!

Actually the room was better than I expected for the price I paid. I really enjoyed the bed due to it not being hard as a brick which has been my experience more and more lately. The room was large enough that I didn't feel claustrophobic. I was traveling with my niece and so we had two beds in the...

Thank you for your review! We are pleased that you enjoyed your room during your stay. Sorry about the screen door issue because I agree that there's nothing better than fresh Tahoe air! We hope you'll be back soon!

The description about the property is accurate. The decor in the rooms are similar to a log cabin with bark trimmed furniture. Not my style but functional. Although our room was above the pool, there weren't any late night parties and my bed was very, very comfortable. At Lakeside Inn it's the employees that are amazing! This includes the employees...

We love knowing that you were pleasantly surprised on your stay with us. We know that the vintage Tahoe look may make some people nervous. But where we shine is the phenomenal service and the friendly attitude of our staff! Along with offering some of best dining options in Tahoe! We hope you'll be back to see us soon!

Don't expect the service and class you receive in this establishment like you get in other Casino's. It is not bad for $73.- per night but for what you get, $50.- per night would be enough. The rooms are big, but there are no amenities in the room. The TV is the size from a computer screen and looks lost...

We know that we have a vintage Tahoe decor but we do offer some of the best dining and gaming around. We are working on upgrading our rooms but it's a lengthy process. We hope you had a great trip to Tahoe! Thank you for the review.

We were on vacation and had basically all our meals here at the casino. Great deals and the dinner was awesome. We had lobster and primerib and a great deal under twenty dollars. People are friendly. The inn might look a little shabby but inside was great. We enjoyed it allot.

The location was very convenient for meeting friends and family nearby. The room was decent and had a nice private balcony to enjoy our morning coffee. The room rate was high on Saturday night but very reasonable Sun-Tues. We even stayed an extra night as it was so relaxing come Sunday afternoon. Had a great time at the lakeside casino, mostly because I won a prize off the big wheel. The casino is pretty basic, older games and restaurants make up the main floor. Parking can be a bit tight. Overall you can have a good time there if you don't demand a Las Vegas experience.

“My husband and I often come together but I often come alone, I come to ski. Either way I always feel at home here. I love getting passes to the gym across the street, it's great and they have all the equipment you could want and an inside track for walking or running. Rooms are clean and very comfortable, they will go out of there way for you.”
