Resort fees and "Call center assistance" fees were excessive. There were limited food options at Harvey's and Harrah's. That was disappointing. Not what I remember. The room, however, was excellent. That IS what I remember, great rooms. I would probably stay here again because Lake Tahoe is still beautiful and the location is excellent.

Called Harvey's over a month ago to request two rooms lake views, checked in on Monday said they did not have a lake view. After speaking with a manager, we were given one lake view, one golf course view. Upon arriving in our rooms, we found them to be terribly outdated and smelled very stale and musty! We promptly asked...

We booked a room at Harvey's in South Lake Tahoe 2 months ago. The view from our room is the roof of one of the buildings with air conditioning units and a dog next door that is barking like he has lost his mind. The hotel did nothing to rectify the situation. I paid $230 for the room. It was...

Excellent location. The hotel rate was a little pricey, but overall, a good hotel to stay in. Friendly staff. Great accommodations. We ate at the Hard Rock cafe. Food was excellent and price was reasonable.

We used to love this place. Have gone there for decades. Every time we come there is more and more gone. Machines are so tight. Don't expect to win big but would like to be able to play a little on your money. Your employees are great and try hard.

The rooms were very nice and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the Sage Room, not only the food but the personnel are very friendly and treat you as someone special. The bartenders at the Players Bar are great.

I have to start with the disclaimer that I've spent a LOT of time in Las Vegas, so my comparisons may be jaded. I enjoy staying at the newer casinos in that area, but don't mind some of the well kept staple places on the Strip. I spent a weekend at Harvey's to attend a wedding, the room was clean...

I stayed at Harvey's last weekend when attending the Lionel Richie concert. The comps are great, the food is great, the people are great. Highly recommend staying here. The room was very nice. The Sage room for dinner is a must!

The hotel is clean and the staff is polite. The rates for the rooms are lower than the other hotels in Tahoe. It's within walking distance to the beach and Tahoe village. I would be nice if Harvey's had a 24hr cafe/restaurant in the hotel.
