My family and I had stayed here for a full month upon arriving in Reno. We looked at all the motels down town Reno that offered weekly rates. Being close to the casinos I was very surprised that we were really safe. Lacy From the front Office was friendly and even upon a couple of occasions told us she though...

We loved the Desert Rose Inn. Got four rooms. One was a free upgrade. The folks who work there are all great. I'd stay there again without hesitation. Except, I'd book direct with the motel and not use getaroom nor Trip Advisor. The room was supposedly prepaid. My credit card was charged immediately. But, apparently, maybe, the motel didn't get...

I gave this place two stars because it is close to the casinos, freeway, and downtown Reno but the place itself is not very desirable at ALL. I lived here for nearly a year and the management is rude most of the time but actually rather bipolar with their up and down moods. They all know each other and are...

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for a family reunion in the Reno area. While the neighborhood is a little sketchy we felt perfectly safe at the hotel. Lacy (front desk) was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. It was too cold to swim but the pool looked okay. It's an old building and...

Desert Rose Inn by renoniki at 12/3/2014 12:30:33 PM My experience with the Desert Rose Inn has been wonderful. The management is excellent to say the least. They welcomed me with a smile and a great attitude. The woman at the front desk has a radiant smile that can calm a raging heart. I had a really bad day and...

Sure, people who hate cheap hotels will hate this place. The rooms look like they haven't been painted in 20 years, or the carpet cleaned in 40. But the sheets and towels are clean! And, what is important to me, the mother and daughter who run the place are awesome. I had a rough trip getting here, and a hard...

Worse place I have ever been to. The rooms are infested with bedbugs, non-smoking rooms smell like smoke and the staff looks like they are on drugs, just like most of the people staying there. I witnessed people selling drugs in front of the place and the Manager hanging out with the disgusting prostitutes who walk the street in front.

Its unfortunate when a guest has had an unpleasant experience at our motel. My staff and I take it very personally. Admittedly we were swamped a few years back when the bed bug crisis hit us. We would have a guest check in for a few days and leave bed bugs. I researched with my manager the most effective methods...

Unsafe environment. Drug people loitering at checkin office and on property, meth addicts walking around, people living in the rooms with dogs. This hotel completely misrepresented themselves on their web site. I went to another hotel, didn't even use the room. I contacted the Nevada Tourism office to have this hotel deleted from hotels listing. A hotel has an obligation...

I consider 4th street fairly safe as a downtown area goes of a major city. We don't tolerate drugs on the property or any kind of bad behavior. I have been in the office on many occasions when persons less fortunate have inquired about room costs and then left. We do accept service animals and require vaccination records. We are...

I don't agree with the other reviews. This place is not that bad. The area isn't that good but the room itself is OK. The Internet is kinda of sporadic. The water varies in temperature etc. I don't notice anybody on drugs or loud people. In fact I can't hear in the room next door. I think the manager and...

This a rather old complaint, but I'll address it as it sheds a bad light on my people in charge today. 2008 was a disaster and the ensuing years troubling for property owners and home owners as well. The challenge, as I had taken over the motel in May 2008 was to adapt to lean times. There were a lot...
