Punk on tap, winner for me! Have had sandwiches for lunch a couple of times, v. tasty, with a crisp salad on the side. Landlord & family welcoming. Fire was going last week, nice & toasty. Had 'loaded jackets' which were delicious, and a game of pool on their new table. Def worth a visit.

Stumbled across this establishment after moving into the area. Always made to feel very welcome, terrific ambience, well kept ales, nothing too much trouble. Keep up the good work Jan, Nigel & family!

We needed a pub to accommodate 14 people for a birthday meal after Ladies Day at Plumpton. My husband contacted Nigel at the pub in advance. He was friendly and helpful and set aside a long table in the restaurant. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The men were happy as Harvey's beer on tap. There was a good...

I have been drinking at The Horns Lodge for 22 years. An old fashioned pub, a bit dog-eared and with some very odd interior design, but great beer and a proper local. I think there have been four landlords in that time, the current landlord is still relatively new and I popped in for a pint (the Horns serves probably...
