We needed to break up a NM to CA drive and stopped at Laughlin....Checked 3 hotel rates and settled on this one, the cheapest at $66.00 plus tax for a Friday arrival, one night for 2. I'd always wanted to see the rooms here anyway. Parking in front of your room is always a plus for us. Rooms are dark,... More

Place is outdated and falling apart. Part of the roof fell and hit my car. Their response was "oh well" " act of God" and would not pay for repairs. Wish I could give staff negative rating. Looks like nothing has been updated since the early 1900s

Was hesitant with some bad reviews but this little place is a gem! Easy checkin, park next to room( I had truck and trailer so couldn't park right next to room but very close walking distance) security In parking lot. Actually greeted by security, who helped me decide where to park and assisted me with checkin process. Rooms very quaint,... More

I'll be straight-up on this review. this hotel is not the best and the rooms are borderline unacceptable, but...The price is right and this is the BEST pet-friendly hotel in Laughlin. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Also, the location is pretty good. Right in the middle of "the strip". The hotel restaurant, Bumbleberry Flats, seems good, but the service... More

Go in with moderate expectations and you will be fine. Very much a cheap low budget stay. Reminds me of the 70s-80s Room was clean and worn, sheets and towels were clean and nice. Cable TV out while I was ther..but who cares, it's Laughlin. Casino was nice and a food group of older and friendly dealers. Breakfast was very... More

Was looking for a pet friendly hotel for the Labor Day weekend. Only pet friendly smoking rooms were available when I made the reservation. Was pleased to find upon arrival the rooms were clean and the smoke odor was tolerable. Everyone was professional and respected the do not enter sign on the door so we had no concern about our... The shower was not draining called house keeping and in less than 5 minutes they were there to unclog it, it had great hot water. Did not have any problems after it was unclog. Pool is nice but rough. The room did smell like there old but nice and clean. The hotel has a Western look and there is no... More

I booked accommodations there while searching for a retirement home. The exterior of the building and the parking lot reflected the hard use received during that weekend on Tuesday noon. Sadly, some of the trash and water bottles were still in the parking lot @ Tuesday noon. The room was adequate..several pieces of furniture were lacking locking devices/drawer pools. No... More

Stayed one night. This place is sure showing its age! Carpet is worn badly as is the furniture. The bed was firm, a good thing. The TV must have been made 15 years ago, with very limited channel selection ( I know, you don't go there to watch TV but to gamble! ). The air conditioner sounded like a jet... More

This is a no-frills motel with a western theme. The rooms are very basic and some could use a lot of work, but this is a great place to stay by the river with plenty of boat parking. Pool and hot tub are decent too. I come to Laughlin just for the boating so the Pioneer definitely fits the bill!
