For 20 years my wife and kids came to AVI and loved it every time. But since Covid the place went overboard with restrictions and killed the vibe. I really don’t go here much now. Too smokey and table games are few and not open very often. Also, the pool is downright disgusting. It used to be clean, but I would never put myself or my kids in there now.

Great to see a successful indigenous business! So friendly and always making sure if you have a question that you get the answer! Teaching us how to say “Welcome” in Mojave language. Definitely going back for another stay!

Deciding to stay for another day we checked in last minute. I have to say, we got a better rate booking 3rd party online vs calling the Resort direct and the Hotel honored the rate. There were a couple of restaurants open in the evening and we chose the Moon Shadow Grill for Prime Rib. It was a rather generous portion but not at a Casino Prime Rib Special price. The Caesar salad was delicious and there was a good assortment of side dishes to choose from. Room was comfortable and clean. All in all it was a good stop and a nice stay.

Spent 4 nights here while visiting good friends nearby. The Facility was very clean and tidy. Our room had a spectacular view of the river and pool area. It was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and had a great tub which my wife quickly utilized after a long drive. We had lunch in the downstairs Cafe one afternoon and a Sub from the onsite Subway another day. There is a small store for basics located in the lobby and of course gambling in the casino area. The topper was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Everyone we encountered was just great!

We checked in very smoothly Lily checked us in. She gave a nice room she was pleasant and very upbeat to help. Told us about certain informations in the hotel as for like discounts and restaurants . Room was at a great temperature and beautiful view. Ice machine in our floor is not working but house keeper told us the ice machine on the sixth floor works. One downside was hallway temperature is way to hot.

We hadn’t been there in many years, so didn’t know what to expect, but it was really nice! The rooms were remodeled and now have refrigerators, so that was a plus. We played blackjack, video poker and did a little sports betting. The bartenders were friendly and kept our drinks coming. The sports book has a bunch of televisions and plenty of seating, so we could enjoy college and NFL football (plus baseball and soccer). We spent time at the pool bar where they have a couple of additional TVs and friendly bar staff. We had the most excellent food and service at the Moonshadow Grill. I would compare it to The Keg in Chandler. There was a 2-for-1 deal for $55 with excellent entree choices. The filets were delicious, as was the cheesecake! We had a fun time and will be back.

Have been here many times including staying at the RV portion of the property. At the RV site, there's nothing there, except a small dog area and a playground which is unshaded - too hot after 10am for the grandkids. There's a pool at the resort, but its a really long walk. The casino Table Games are closed except for night time, so don't expect to play live gaming. The workers who are there, don't seem to be trained in customer service, employees avoid eye contact/greetings. If you are hungry, please try the chain food places like Subway, Sbarro, and Panda Express. We have stopped even bothering to eating at their restaurants. All of the last 3times, we had bad experiences. If there is a problem with a dish, a complaint to management, does absolutely nothing. You still get charged. Their menu, is very limited at the times my wife and I like to visit. So simple that we no longer even bother to sit down for food. As many problems as we have had with service and food, yet the same workers are still there, still with bad attitudes. They used to have slot and video poker tournaments. No longer, not since 2019. They used to bring my wife and , just to play and earn more points. They used to have comedy shows we would visit. They used to have events in their event center. It seems like its a place of the past, not of the current.

Way overpriced -$90 for a holiday- ridiculous since no useful amenities including no game room, pool not open due to cleaning, gavel and dirt lot, high water pressure which blew out water hose, etc. Will never stay again

I have been going to Avi Hotel for years. It has always been my favorite on the River. I have overlooked many inconveniences through the Pandemic. But it’s time to stop blaming the pandemic. No bellman to speak of. No available luggage carts. If you want one of the two you have to wait forever. They removed the seating in the lobby due to the Pandemic and never replaced them. If you are waiting to be picked up or waiting for a cart you must stand. I was in a suite with a pull out bed. When calling for linen (which should have already been on the bed) the maid was rude and told me to make the bed myself. Obviously over worked but she could have been nice. When we went to the front desk to get wristbands for the pool the man at the desk absolutely refused to give us any. Said we should have saved the other ones. We weren’t told this but he adamantly refused. We had to go to the manager. The manager was ineffective. Just stood there, gave us the bands without apologizing. The water is still brown and has been for years. Should have been addressed a long time ago. At the least they should have waters in your room and give them free at the restaurant. It is undrinkable. There is no phone reception in the hotel. When with a large group of people this is inconvenient and I believe dangerous. I wrote personally to the Hotel and they didn’t even bother to reply. Something is seriously wrong at this Hotel.

Renovated River view rooms are nice. Restrooms need to be cleaned better hair behind door and under toilet. Check in and check out staff was friendly. Table game dealers were also pleasant. The youngest beverage girl walking around was rude , she was walking around super fast saying beverages gets mad when I asked for one. After observing her for a little seemed like she was on something. Idk everyone else was pleasant including the maintenance guy. Pool is nice. Has nice theater and arcade for the kids.
