The rooms were nice. Good food and food options. Courteous staff. Small casino but nice. Nice pool but I wish the pool did not close at 5:00 pm. Love the old style Vegas atmosphere. I would stay here again. The sky walk was not in operation while I was there. I would have appreciated being forewarned of this information.

This is a typical Vegas hotel with all of the facilities. Casino, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and decent bedrooms. But something isn't quite right with the service. Rushed, disorganised, not customer focused are all descriptions I would use. All little things but by the second day these mole hills have become a mountain of irritation. It may not be the...

Long queue to check-in despite Gold & "Invited Guests" line being available (regular line would have actually been shorter). No recognition of Hhonors Gold benefits and when pushed they noted that "complimentary continental breakfast" was limited to $13 per person per day credit against breakfast, which other than a short order at Starbucks or their café would fall short of...

I appreciate how prompt staff was after reporting this...But it still did not resolve the frenzy this called. The machines were horrible I believe all due to the fact that I was comped two free nights.

As friends fawn over the newer and glitzier hotels in Vegas, I opt for this regal queen. Beautiful palm beach type decor with fantastic restaurants and as a bonus easy car and foot traffic access to the rest of the town. Great comps plus good paying tables and slots. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but the great...

The LV Tropicana DoubleTree provides an adequate place to stay. My room (10th floor club tower, corner room) was comfortable, quiet, and relatively clean. Overall, I have to say that expectations were met. But as the title suggests, everything is relative. Compared to nearby properties on the LV Strip, the poor, aging Trop is clearly outclassed. A colleague described the...

Not the best. Wont be back. Small casino, only one part of the pool was open during our stay. Only one person at front desk at all times to check in or out (imagine that line), rooms are not what the pictures look like.

I checked into the tropicana for 3 nights at the begining of our trip. Rooms spacious, clean and bright! Parking is still free at the moment unlike other hotels that are now charging $8 a day for guest's. Pool area was nice as it was quiet, i think in summer it might be cowded as it wasn't that big. Overall...

I booked a bungalow room with garden view and a balcony. They stuck me in a rower room with a roof view. Not worth the time to fight about it since in for only one night. Reminds me of Seinfeld, they can take reservations but certainly can't fulfill them.

We have stayed at this property many times but it is starting to trend in a downward direction. The cleaning staff managed to hit our room one day out of the four we were there. We left the room at 8 each morning and did not return until after 3 in the afternoon and no one even close to cleaning...
