Difficulty checking out, couldn't get an actual copy of my hotel receipt showing that the charges were reconciled - very strange. Beds were uncomfortable, clearly older mattresses as both the queen mattresses in my room dipped/slanted so that neither bed was actually level. Overall, it's a nice hotel. For the amount they charged, it should have been better.

Hotel's Favourite
This was our second time at the Venetian. You can't beat the location or the suites. I really liked how there was a separate living room so if someone wanted to sleep and someone else wanted to watch TV or just enjoy the incredible views (from the upgraded view) this was easily accomplished. The bathrooms are wonderful - shower and bath separated from the toilet, two sinks, make up table with stool and lit up mirror. It was over 100 degrees when we went in August, but you didn't even have to leave the air conditioned hotel if you did not want to. The Canal Shoppes are attached to the hotel, plenty of places to eat are in the hotel or the Canal Shoppes. You can get to the casino at the Venetian or the Palazzo without going outside. We had a view of the pools so you could see how busy they were or if there were any lounge chairs available. Hundreds of slots to chose from. Just a wonderful and classy hotel. Loved our stay!

Pricy hotel with no breakfast included. Most staff is nice and helpful. Bad experience at the end when I left my luggage before exploring the city: There was a female bellman that had a very nasty attitude and should work on her customer skills. If you see a client not knowing where the line is to drop the luggage you should guide them politely not in an aggressive manner. She almost yelled at me and told me to back away. That's not nice at all

I recently stayed here for a week. First the entire 6th floor flooded with sewage, but no worries they didn't tell the customers, or offer to move them. Then the next day I found my shower and bath filled with debris. I cleaned it out myself, then left for the day only to return to find the toilet firing water into the air. When I spoke to the front desk the staff seemed annoyed and directed me to go to my room, pack it up walk back to the front desk and then they would find me a room. After debating with the staff and asking for maintenance to meet with me so I could get into the new room without having to come back and forth they finally sent someone. When that personnel arrived he shared that they had propped my door open the day before and used it to dump the sewage water into the sinks (no worries that was next to my toothbrush) my shower and my bath tub. This nearly caused me to vomit knowing I was standing in this during my shower. Then as I moved to the new floor two days later I come back to my room to find the staff sitting in there where he said he was checking the water pressure. THIS PLACE HAS FALLEN FAR FROM WHEN SHELDON WAS ALIVE! No apologies, not even a coupon for a cup of coffee!!!! It was forget you give me my money and don't worry if we treat you like trash! I would have had better experience at a red roof inn! NEVER STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!

We booked three nights and decided to check out after one. It's just not at all worth the high price point, even with.ky discounted industry rate. Check in took more than 30 minutes during non peak hours. The phone in the room did not work so I had to walk down to the desk just to request an item. The hotel is huge with a confusing layout. Rooms are really old needs a remodel ASAP. The front desk helped me shorten my stay ( Thank you Domenico) but it took me 3 hours on the phone balancing between the two parties (hotel and my reservation company). That is unacceptable. The room was paid directly to the hotel, but they made my reservation company call this special resort services number and it took 4 tries because both parties kept trying to say it was the other person's responsibility. It's a nice hotel, just was not a good fit for us. Front desk very professional especially the PM supervisor. $65 resort fee should include free water and beverages... not $14 beverages and no breakfast. The only amenity I used was wi fi which was spotty.

I love this place! Beautiful rooms, ours faced the sphere which was so cool. Fab restaurants..The only thing that I really DISliked was..paying daily resort fee and then not being able to sit on a lounge chair in the sun by the pool w/o paying $75 more! Stayed 3 days...spent over $2000 and had to PAY to sit at the pool...big fail there. Otherwise love.

Dear Robyn, Thank you so much for choosing The Venetian Resort and for taking the time to share your experience. Although we are delighted that you had a wonderful experience overall, we apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the daily Resort Fee. The Resort Fee includes a multitude of amenities, including Unlimited in-suite internet access, Access for two to the world-famous Canyon Ranch SpaClub, Unlimited local and toll-free telephone calls, access to digital media via Press-Reader and Complimentary Boarding Pass Printing. Pool access is not an inclusion of the Resort Fee, as it is available to our guests at no additional charge. We apologize if you were not advised of these inclusions. It is our sincere hope to welcome you back again, the next time you travel to Las Vegas. Kind Regards,

Besides all the ridiculous pricing in Vegas, including a charge if you so much as sneeze on the hotels' precious stocked frigs, whatever you do, do NOT pay the outrageous fee (about $170 per day for 2 people) for Prestige Lounge Access. Food is terrible. Breakfast items are "brought up" from elsewhere a couple hours before the Lounge opens and nothing is hot, fresh or tasty. The potatoes are hard and dry for example. Happy Hour food is minimal (bites). For this amount of money it should be a steak and lobster buffet. For $170 you can easily eat in one of the overpriced restaurants in Vegas. Venetian also advertises "Complimentary" happy hour!!! Complimentary after you pay $170!!! NOT WORTH IT!!!

Watch out, don't touch that mini fridge. Literally don't touch it, look at it, or think about looking at it. Everything is pressure sensitive and automated... great resort, but a human touch would be nice and some transparency. "Sir, do you have a credit card we can keep on file for incidental charges?" No mention it will be $600 hold. I put a water bottle I purchased outside the hotel in the fridge... you know to keep it cold and was charged $11 for keeping my pre-purchased drink cold. Nothing like a nickle and diming to ruin an otherwise great stay. I even called the front desk to check to see if I was charged once I heard how sensitive the fridge pressure sensor was... the answer, no charges showing up on our end, but be sure YOU check again prior to leaving. Of course I did check, still no charges, but low and behold as soon as I got home I had a email waiting for me with my $11 charge for "refreshments" or basically fridge tax. Word to the wise, the staff, although friendly, do not have your best interest in mind. For a high end hotel, I did not expect to be nickeled and dimed as only a cheap vegas hotel can. I assume most guests that come to Vegas plan to lose $X, however the gambling should be at the tables not in your room. If you stay at the Venetian and want to keep your pre-purchased drinks cold, BYOF (bring your own fridge). $11 is $11, but being lied to by staff with no effort whatsoever to be helpful.... that's priceless.

Dear matta959, Thank you for your recent stay with us and for sharing your feedback. Regarding being charged incorrectly for items in the refreshment center; Our in-suite refrigerator is fully digital with sensors to track item use. Please know these charges are internally audited and verified before they are placed on your folio. We have waived the verification process and refunded the $11.00 to your credit card on file. You should see the credit reflected on your statement in 3-5 business days. Your continued loyalty is very important to us, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind Regards,

beautiful resort, not cheap, $14.00 bottled water in the room, bar was fully stocked however the prices were ridiculous. Go to Walgreens next door and stock up. No complimentary coffee in the room and be prepared for a $56.00 resort fee per day added to your bill whether you use the pool and gym.
