The Venetian Resort boasts clean, expansive rooms and a variety of luxury amenities, delighting guests with its prime location on the Strip. However, opinions vary as some travelers criticize the dated decor and noisy atmosphere, with disruptive poolside music often clashing with the hotel's grandeur. While the suites earn praise for their size, issues with housekeeping and service inconsistency are not uncommon. Visitors also express frustration with extra fees and the value for money. Noise from construction and clubs can be bothersome, and some guests miss in-room coffee makers and complimentary water.

The Venetian Resort's atmosphere is often described as elegant and luxurious, though some visitors suggest the rooms need updating and complain about the loud music from the pool. While the location is central and convenient, the noise from clubs and construction is a common grievance, even on higher floors. Guests have mixed feelings about the value, pointing out steep prices for accommodations and dining, as well as unexpected fees for standard amenities.

Service experiences vary, with commendations for professionalism contrasting reports of slow and unhelpful staff. The resort's cleanliness and opulent amenities generally impress, despite some dated elements and cleanliness inconsistencies.

If you're thinking of staying somewhere else in Vegas - DON'T. We've stayed at the Venetian several years ago, but had drifted to other Strip locations for recent trips. Staying here again just cemented in our minds Venetian is, hands down, the best of Vegas.
Casino was fantastic. I am far from a major player, yet my first day on the floor one of the hosts, Luke, sought out and personally welcomed me. Wow. My husband is a poker player and thinks the new poker room is fantastic. It's away from the noise and smoke of the main floor, and convenient for food, has self-serve drinks, and its own restroom.
Customer service shone at the Venetian from check-in staff to house keeping. Our room was immaculate and we always felt welcome.
Speaking of rooms, ours was a "regular" king suite, yet it was spacious and luxuriously appointed. If I had a tiny complaint it would be that the shower lacked water pressure, but that's quibbling.
There are too many amenities to mention, especially for dining and shops. You could happily spend your entire Vegas trip here without ever leaving the resort.
Speaking of resorts, I had the best massage of my life at Canyon Ranch. It was the 75 minute hot stone and heaven on earth. My provider was Leydis, I believe. I wanted to go back to her the next day but she was booked. Heaven!
The pool area was crowded, but drinks could be ordered on the app. Service was quick, and drinks/food were great. Get the sliders! You'll thank me. The Tao beach club was just over the wall, and if you're looking for serenity, go to a pool further away (there are at least 6). I personally enjoyed the club music. One thing, though, is they closed the pool at 6, which is a bit early.
Lastly, we brought first time, value conscious friends on the trip. They literally walked to every casino on the Strip and agreed the Venetian was the best of all. Yay!
We will be back soon, Venetian. You guys definitely understand the assignment. Cheers to a perfect stay!

After a near hour check in wait I checked into my room at approximately midnight.
The room was impressively big and the bed was very comfortable. A desk is made available as well as a table and chairs if you decided to eat in your room. There is also a comfortable sofa and two chairs if you want to watch TV.
The room was generally clean and unlike many Vegas strip hotels housekeeping made daily calls to replace towels and empty shower gel supplies - that is a major kudo to the Venetian - Thanks
No coffee or tea making facilities are made available which is a common trend in Vegas hotels (they want you to buy from Starbucks or Bouchon) and of course anything from the mini bar or snack station was ludicrously expensive - I cannot fault Venetian for that as every strip resort does exactly the same. My advice is to go to the Walgreens stores that are located to the right and left of the main entrance for your snack and drink supplies.
I had one major concern during my visit - after I checked into my room I was awoken at 3:00am by an irritated Mexican woman who had somehow used her card to access my room - obviously a mistake on her part but never the less a security concern for me - I promptly contacted the front desk who resolved the issue and compensated me.
The Venetian suffers from it's size in that it loses the personal touch that so often is the difference between a great stay and an average or bad stay. There is some thing of a "fast food" approach that they simply want to get you in and out as fast as possible - I was told that checkout time was 11:00am. This meant I had an eleven hour wait at the airport which could have been shorter if there was some elbow room on check out times.
In terms of general facilities you will NOT be disappointed. A wonderful range of restaurants, good shopping choices, excellent entertainment and the opportunity to see sights outside of Vegas like the Grand Canyon.
I would highly recommend the Venetian just don't expect the personal touch you would expect at a small hotel - you don't get that. If that is not a problem you will enjoy yourself guaranteed !

My husband and I stayed in the Palazzo which in the past has been great. I always look forward to going to Vegas because it is always over the top... But NOT this time. We stayed in room 9-837 which is at the end of the Hallway. And our friends that are a couple were 2 rooms before us. They had never been to Vegas so we wanted to stay somewhere that is comparable or better than how we are use too. First I noticed that the door stopper was broken off and just hanging and also the water pressure was weak but I was okay with that. So I am an early riser and we left the room by 7:00am I made sure to remove the do not distrub sign off the door and when we got back close to 4;00pm the room was not clean. I called down to the concierge And Maureen the supevisor apologized and said someone would come right away and clean it. I told her by the way please have the person check the stocked items. Missing an additonal glass, Missing paper and a pen to write which I was working while on vacation, Missing the thong to remove icecubes from the ice bucket, Missing the coffee maker or tea killet. I also told her that our friends got there room cleaned and they took out the goose down pillows and put in cheap ones. Alot of strange things that I have never experienced in a high end place. The next day came and again are room was not Cleaned. Spoke to housekeeping that I saw was laughing and giggling in the room across. I asked them Why is my room not being cleaned it has been 2 days? Their explantaion was I am not on their list and that housekeeping would get texted with the rooms they were responsible for. So again I called down and spoke to Housekeeping this time I spoke to a gentlemen I went over all this again. I received some of the items but not all. it just seems to me that they are trying to cut cost on things and when you are staying in high end hotel you dont expect this. Oh Also They took my goose down pillows too. I was feed up and ready to go home. Thank goodness the restaruants we ate at off the property and Illy (on the property) Were AMAZING!
If you want to stay at a place that will amaze you this is NOT it!!!!

Returned to Vegas for the 6th time in April 2024. Got a very good package price (B A Holidays) in the Xmas summer 2024 sale for 9 nights at Venetian. Location is ok, not quite mid-strip, but close enough. Resort (Venetian/Palazzo) is massive - over 6000 rooms, all suites. We stayed in a recently refurbished suite, which we could not fault. Very spacious, massive comfortable bed, separate room / seating area with 2nd large screen tv, floor to ceiling windows and luxurious marble bathroom with high-end lotions, shampoos, moisturisers etc provided, huge tub and spacious separate shower with good water pressure - very good. Note - you don’t get a fridge or a kettle as standard (take a travel kettle if you like a coffee as soon as you wake up). Room was serviced every day - very good. Robes and slippers, hair-dryer, iron + board, safe all provided as standard - as you would expect. The resort is huge, has its own shopping forum, every type of restaurant you could want, from very expensive to cheap eats, multiple bars, water canal with gondolas and a huge casino. Also connects internally to Palazzo resort, 10 minute walk, which has its own quieter casino. Venetian has multiple pools, and you can also use Palazzo pools if you prefer. One disappointment was that the pools did not get sun until midday, due to the location of the hotel towers - not the best if you like mornings around the pool. In addition, poolside sun beds get taken very quickly. You can reserve a bed for a pricey $100 per bed per day, but even having paid this, you can’t choose which bed you want - they are allocated to you. The Vegas strip is very expensive, so be prepared. In high-end hotels, beers circa $15, cocktails $20. Play the machines/tables, and the drinks are free (just tip the waitress) of course. If you tip well, the waitress will keep coming back as soon as your glass is empty. Cheapest way to navigate up/down the 4 mile strip (as far as the Vegas sign), is the Deuce bus - $20 for a 3 day ticket - but be prepared to meet all kinds of characters riding the Deuce! A trip to the north shopping mall ( $20 each way by Uber) is well worth it if you want to stock up on luxury brands - less than half-price of UK. Loads of Circ du Soleil shows to choose from, plus various residencies, tribute acts, magicians and adult reviews - most hotels have their own nightclub. Comparing Venetian to the other Vegas hotels that we have stayed in - it is better than Aria, but nowhere near as good as Wynn. The Wynn is a cut above everything else - best on the strip -in our opinion - but you pay for the pleasure.

Dear MiggyMig1965, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback with us. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our resort and found your recently refurbished suite to be spacious and comfortable. It’s great to know that you appreciated the luxurious amenities and daily room service. We apologize for the inconvenience regarding the lack of a fridge and kettle in your suite. Your suggestion to bring a travel kettle is noted, and we will consider this feedback for future improvements. We are glad you enjoyed the variety of restaurants, bars, and the unique features of our resort, such as the Grand Canal with gondolas and the connection to the Palazzo. However, we apologize for the limited sun exposure at the pools in the morning and the challenges with reserving poolside sun beds. Your feedback will help us enhance our guests’ experience. We understand that the cost of dining and drinks on the Vegas strip can be high, and we appreciate your tips on navigating the area and making the most of the complimentary drinks while playing. The Deuce bus is indeed a convenient and affordable way to explore the strip. Thank you once again for your valuable feedback. We look forward to welcoming you back for your next visit to Las Vegas! Warm regards,

We stayed in the Grand one bedroom suite and it was an unforgettable experience. Our room overlooked the pools and your normal off-strip landmarks, as well as the Wynn golf course.
There was more than enough space for two people. The room has a mini fridge for your personal use, and glasses. They do not provide any disposable cups, and you cannot get them from room service (this isn't a complaint, just different from what we've seen at other properties).
The tub and double-headed showers were a welcome respite from the walking we did during our trip. Having two sinks was also very helpful in getting ready in the morning. Amenities included hand soap, mouthwash, toothpaste, a toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, an amenity kit with cotton swabs, cotton pads, a mending kit and a kit with an emory board and orange stick. These were replenished by housekeeping. For the tub, you also get a package of epsom salts to add to your bath.
The Venetian also has the best and most visible security for guests accessing the room towers - you have to tap your key in front of a security guard to access the elevators. They were pretty strict about it.
We enjoyed room service breakfast one day during our stay, and the food was very good. Since we were in a suite, they set our table with linens and an abundance of condiments to accompany the meal.
While the decor is a bit outdated, we didn't think it was so outdated that it was tacky. They will be renovating the rooms soon, but I hope they don't do too much to the layout, as it was perfect.
For the location, the amenities and all of the reasons listed above, we felt this was a luxurious stay worth the money. Staff were friendly and helpful and it's one of the easier places on the Strip to get your bearings and get around.
If your means allow, or you get a really spectacular price, I'd highly recommend giving the Venetian a try for your Vegas Vacation.

Weeks prior to arrival I had emailed the Venetian directly to inform them that I was coming with family from NY & Ireland to celebrate my father's 60th and my uncle's 40th birthday. I asked if they could do anything special as a courtesy or at least provide us with nicer rooms. To my surprise we got pre blocked on the 5th floor - how disappointing! You would think they would set us up in rooms higher up with better views considering we had booked a few rooms & even emailed! I had a single king room and the room was a disgrace. The towels/bath robes are so itchy and uncomfortable and in my opinion way to small. You get better robes/towels at Holiday Inn. The brand of shampoo/conditioner/lotion/shower gel/soap is a no name brand which is unacceptable for a 5 Star hotel. In addition, the bed conformed to my body and sunk me while I was sleeping, the sheets had stains on them, the room had a bad small. Just overall filthy. Let's not forget about the long black hairs that were all over the bathroom floor. I had to call housekeeping to provide me with extra towels so that I may cover the floor with towels so that I didn't step on the long black hair. The guest service manager emails me back "thank you for the feedback". Just insane for the price paid.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first time stay at The Venetian. Our original reservation was for 3 days which we booked months ago, and we opted afterwards to include an extra day. Adding the extra day was easy and done directly thru online reservations. Each time that I had a question prior to our arrival, it was handled efficiently and courteously. The different reps I spoke with ( I called for status updates and recommendations) were all very helpful and provided useful suggestions.

Check in was not as painful as some other reviews stated. We waited in a queue, but the line moved at a good pace, with several personnel at the Front Desk. We were assisted by Joanne, and she was very friendly and professional in explaining the room, fees, checkout procedures, etc. When we asked how to get to various locations inside and outside the Venetian, she provided excellent directions on how to get to our destinations. Once we got our bearings, everything was a breeze.

Given how many people are inside the Venetian at all hours of the day, it was nice to see security require a room key, to access the elevators. There are so many elevators going to the rooms, that we rarely had to wait more than a minute to hop on one.

Our room was on the 30th floor, and it was gorgeous. Very clean, inviting, and the perfect place to call home during our stay. We had a terrific view of the Sphere, which was fun to see at all hours, day and night. As described during our booking, the suite was large, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy. Housekeeping was very thorough and always asked if there was anything we needed. The work desk was great too, as we couldn't escape entirely from that while there. We heard and read about the extremely touch sensitive mini bar and snack tray, but didn't need anything from them, nor were we looking to store any of our items in the fridge. There are tons of places to eat , and also in the Grand Canal Shops. The restaurants in the Venetian that we stopped at were all good. (Noodle Asia, Grand Lux, Sugarcane, Bouchon, and the Bouchon bakery.)

In summary, the Venetian stay was well worth it. We enjoyed the hotel, it's restaurants, its proximity to the Sphere and other venues, and the staff. We will be returning for another engagement, and we're looking forward to our stay here again.

We had booked the Venetian but was given a room in the Palazzo, I say room this resort only has suites. Initially we were a little disappointed not to have had a suite in the Venetian, but the delightful young lady on reception said she wanted to make sure our first trip was memorable and allocated this suite to us. The suite had an amazing bathroom with everything you could want, possibly could do with addressing the size of the bath towels they were very small but laundered beautifully. The whole ambiance was wonderful and throughout the resort there were plenty of people to smile and chat to nothing was too much trouble. The array of eateries is great, a little pricey but in most cases worth it. The location for us was marvellous very central and we loved exploring on foot. The opulent public areas are a joy to the eye. The Canal Shopping with the Gondolas was a lovely surprise and it was relaxing walking around and enjoying the beautiful shop window displays. The resort has two large beautifully maintained casinos, we are not gamblers but enjoyed a little flutter. Our first trip to Las Vegas was truly memorable, if we are ever fortunate to go back without doubt we will head straight back to the Venetian Resort. Thank you Venetian keep up the good work.

We really liked the decor of the hotel. We queued for check in. It's too crowded the hotel. Expensive prices: 250 ml bottle of room water costs $14. The view of the room was to a patio with air conditioning machines. Plugs are missing in the room. The shower comes out with low pressure. Self parking costs $18 per day, valet parking $40 per day.
We tried to go to the pool, but it's too crowded. We found room in the seventh pool at the end of it all. Very crowded, although there is a good towel service.

Are the newly remodeled suites located in the Venetian Tower or only in the Venezia Tower?
Answer from Maureen J
I don’t know but the suite I was in during late September didn’t need updating. All the furniture and carpet were in great condition. From what I saw the remodel includes bed outlets and a non mini bar fridge which are nice updates but not wow improvements. My favorite color is purple. Not excited about the change to red.

The great news is that the Sphere is attached to the Venetian! No need to even go outside.
