My stay at Silverton was the best experience I have had in my entire life when it comes to resort hotels in Las vegas! I have stayed at some really expensive hotels on the strip and didn't receive White the best experience. Staying at Silverton first of all I was traveling with my blind and disabled father and when I say they went above and beyond to make sure that he was both accommodated and comfortable the room that they gave us was totally equipped for him from the seated shower to the low risen beds and everything in between and it was still luxury for my husband and myself as well! The staff at Silverton is top notch the customer service is impeccable from the casino hosts Miriam and Curtis miss Helen every single casino Host is very attentive and accommodating the rooms were very clean selfish beds Cruise size pillows everything you can imagine you will find at this hotel the food was unmatched we ate breakfast lunch and dinner in the casino mi casa Wuhan and Sundance have the most amazing food and amazing staff that I have encountered especially coming from food service myself I look at the service that I'm receiving and they have the best customer service ever every single restaurant inside of Silverton! If you are planning to travel to Las Vegas avoid the strip and book with Silverton Lodge and casino they give the best gifts once you become a player and get a card it's just the most wonderful experience if you are looking to be treated as a person of importance Silverton is definitely the hotel for you and your family they do not miss a beat! I have come to know many of the staff at Silverton over the last year and a half and I am still in all of just how amazing the people here have been and continue to treat their guests!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights during New Year’s and we were very happy with our rooms, the comps, the location, and the dining options. The newly renovated rooms are nice and parking was convenient whether in the garage or surface parking. It was easy to get in and out of, being right off I-15, close to shopping, and close to the Strip. The portions at the Sundance Cafe were huge and it’s a great late-night option. We also ate at Mi Casa (excellent fajitas!) and Wuhu Noodles (twice). The New Year’s Eve dinner was exceptional, with king crab legs, steak, and a show. Silverton Village is right next door with many more food and bar options but we had what we needed right in the casino. The aquarium is a fun touch and entrance to Bass Pro connected which is fun to walk through. Wish we did better in the casino but that’s why they call it gambling. The comps are much better than in the strip casinos. I would recommend it if you want something less hectic and less expensive than the Strip but want a convenient jumping off point.

We have played penny slots and card tables numerous times before at the Silverton on our trips to Las Vegas.
When we heard the Silverton Hotel was renovated into a boutique type hotel, we jumped at the chance to stay. We were happy we did. Every detail had a western flair, and the decor was just right. Everything was comfortable and, at the same time, classy.
Staff members were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool area was very well done with fire pit conversation areas and plenty of seating and shade. Lounge chairs were thickly padded, and towels were easily accessible.
The location is ideal for those who don't want to be in the crowds up north on the strip. This southern strip location still has everything to offer. The Silverton boasts a really huge casino, several restaurants and bars, fast food outlets, a gift shop, and a beautiful, unique tubular fish aquarium where mermaids swim among dozens of fish to the delight of young and old alike. There are shows with various original entertainers and those who sing and play just like original artists. There is an enormous Bass Pro Shop attached with great decor as well. The parking garage is very large, with ample parking to handle various special events for sure.
Overall, it was a fun and relaxing place to stay, convenient without all the noise and crazy crowds.

incredible remodel. As a business traveler I look for ways to make my time away from home and family the best possible experience. I want easy, comfortable and enjoyable. Silverton checks all the boxes. Start with not walking miles between parking and getting to your room, or no hassle check in and out. The latest in Room amenities with AC that truly cools the larger rooms, and a Big TV that includes my streaming choices. Add to that never having to leave the property because it has everything you need including great restaurant choices with prices that are very affordable. The Sundance restaurant staff is always amazing at making you feel like you’re an old friend. Starbucks inside the lobby that even lets me order ahead. Entertainment is always available or I relax by walking through the Bass Pro shop or get lost staring into the aquarium as I eat my Jonny rocket burger I got just a few steps away. I didn’t go in the water but had to check out the complete pool remodel. Definitely an outdoor oasis with details that include phone charging stations and an outdoor audio system that somehow blends in to deliver amazing sound quality with balance and clarity.
A location that’s not jammed in the middle of a convoluted transient mess. Getting away from the strip hustle and filth makes it truly a Resort style feeling. Being Surrounded by people that seem to be enjoying that same vibe helps build what separates it from the hype of other properties that tend to be hit or miss. I’ve tried the others and they just aren’t able to deliver the total experience I want.
Why it’s my first choice: Relaxing, Staff, beautiful facility, clean, easy, safe environment with everything you need at a good value. It just adds up to make the difference over the normalize craziness that seems to be attached to other options.

From the moment we walked into the Silverton, we were treated so kindly, felt they appreciated our business and went out of there way to offer guidance etc. off the strip about 10 minutes by car. We did not see much of surrounding area as our focus was relaxing n casino time after strip stay ( park mgm, see other review) and sight seeing to Grand Canyon, art 66, red rock etc. This resort was great and we chose it based off other reviews. I concur, book it! The resort was spotless, the staff Excellent from check in to wait staff to pool staff, bar staff, rewards/cashiers. Everyone was Happy to interact with guests. There are multiple restaurants within the resort ( we ate at Japanese/very good, Mexican Excellent, diner style, good food but too slow on service both times). There are other eats as well. The game play/slots were Very Good as I did limited tables, can’t comment on that. They offered various ( much appreciated) comps ( like 50 off meal, free slot play/free table bet). and even daily specials. I do wish there were More kiosks to check as one needs to use kiosk rather than at the slot to get some comps/extras. We saw security walking inside, outside and felt safe and looked after. Must use room key to get into hotel area, pool area, and within elevators. The room was spotless, took a basic room no upgrade views and it was perfect for us. Coffee/fridge/closet/safe/drawers chair/table. Loved the decor/theme, the hall was a bit darker with tin ceiling but so cool. Great decorator Chairs by elevators! The Huge aquarium with mermaid show was a nice view and fun to watch mermaid. Bass pro attached ( which we frequent) but having a great time in casino/pool, never even entered it! The Pool area is beautiful and No crazy fee for big beautiful thick cushioned loungers with umbrellas! The outdoor bar, drink specials, entire pool area, even had water bottle filling station, spotless area and spotless well equipped bathrooms. The pool staff was Excellent! There is a food/drink menu. They offer shuttle to airport which is about 10 minutes door to door. Great Stay and we will likely return. It was peaceful to be away from the hectic strip and greatly enjoyed our stay at Silverton Casino Resort!

This is my first stay at Silverton Casino & Hotel. It's not as convenient to staying on the strip, further away from downtown Las Vegas, but a lot closer to the Rental Car Center than McCarran International Airport. I'm fortunate to get industry rates and always take advantage of the fruits of my labor. Prior to this trip, I checked for available dates and for certain nights on one of the weekends in November which was perfect for my plans!
Silverton is also affiliated with Circa. The hotel does charge a $38.41 daily resort fee which includes WiFi, Phone calls, Swimming Pool and other amenities.
Fitness Center is newly renovated offering state-of-the-art Life Fitness Machine equipment and several cardio machines. There is also a LF Cable Motion Dual Adjustable Pulley that is super multifunctional. Fitness Center is open 24 hours.
"The Swimmin' Hole," is a new pool deck, open daily from 9am - 9pm. You can still dive into the warm, inviting waters of their heated pool and hot tub. The pool is kept at a cozy 86 degrees! No food & beverage service is currently available at the moment.
You can watch Football on a 32-foot screen at The Swimmin' Hole. You can also watch most games at Circa Sports, Mermaid Lounge or Shady Grove Lounge.
Self-Parking Garage and Valet also available.
The room I booked was a Refined Lodge King Room. Upon check in, the front desk gal offered me a handful of Wine Tasting chips from 5-7pm which I wasn’t able to make it due to family commitments. Room was fully furnished and updated, in-room safe, mini-ref, large bathroom with large counter space, with a standup shower, living space, a closet, and lots of drawers too, this was way bigger than expected!

We just stayed in the Silverton to celebrate a birthday, we got to stay in one of the newly refurbished bedrooms. They are excellent, free coffee, free water and fridge that you could put your stuff in!! amazing. The rooms are really nice with a Western/Modern theme and the shower is beautiful with great water pressure. the check in was easy and we especially liked the way they took time to make us feel welcome. Thank you to Lorrie for the check out, very efficient. I have seen other reviews, and I don't know where they went but I can tell you we had a great time. We will be back Ps try the Mexican Restaurant; the chips and free dip is worth the price of a meal alone!

This is our second time staying at Silverton. We like being off strip where it isn't so crazy. Their recently renovated rooms are great. The beds are comfortable, loved the room blackening shade. The only negative for us was the shower set up. To turn on the water, you have to step into the shower. So, you either turned the water on and scooted out until the water was warm or adjusted the shower head to point at the wall and ducked under the spray until it was warm. I loved the rain showerhead though. There is a body wash/shampoo, and a conditioner mounted on the wall in the shower. There is an armoire with hanging space and drawers. That is also where the Keurig coffee maker is located. (They had Starbucks k-cups.) The casino has a large variety of games and tables, with 4 poker bars. (Hubby had a lucky streak and hit a progressive royal in the first 15 minutes we were there). The Sundance grill has an extensive menu with many options that should appeal to everyone. The beef barley soup was delicious. I had the "cup" which was huge (the size was like a bowl anywhere else). My husband had the prime rib french dip melt with fries. He said it was really good, and the portion size was perfect. We also had breakfast there, also good. They have this really neat aquamarine that is huge. Per the info it is over 100,000 gallons. It has a large variety of fish, and they put on "mermaid" shows throughout the day. There is a 2 story Bass Pro shop. Even if you aren't an outdoors fan, you have to go see it, it is truly unbelievable. All of the staff from the valet, hotel check-in, housekeeping, bartenders, wait staff in the casino and restaurant, were friendly and welcoming. We didn't use the pool but walked out and around it. It is heated and open year-round. They have a humongous tv that was broadcasting sports (hubby thought that was awesome). If you are looking for a great place to stay or play, without all the craziness of the strip, I highly recommend Silverton.

Check in was easy, and the lady who checked us in was pleasant. With our room reservation we were given two free wine tastings, and half off dinner so that was a bonus we didn't expect. We were on the first floor, and I was a little apprehensive about noise etc, but they limit the hotel hallways to people with room keys so there wasn't a whole lot from there. There was a ton of noise from the room above us though! We have stayed in lots of hotels and this was the first time we ever really heard people moving around above us, and they weren't working out or anything - just walking around normally and we heard it all especially at 3am.
The renovations are nice, the room decor was nicely done and still smelled of paint when we got in it. There is a fridge and coffee maker in the room, which is wonderful - I wish more hotels did that! Overall my biggest complaint is that we were a little taken aback when after we had settled in, two people just opened the door and walked in? They quickly retreated and explained they were construction people and were checking the room. Not a great way to start the night!
After that, we went down to Bass pro shops to do a little shopping, then back to the bar for the wine tasting. Wines were OK, nothing great but for free they got you going in the right direction for the evening. Went to dinner at Sundance, the pork chops were over done a bit but tasty. Hubby had the steak, he said it was tasty. The mermaid bar was neat, watching the lady swim around and the fish was entertaining. Other than that, there isn't a lot to do, the pool is under renovation and closed right now.
I would stay again, its a nice hotel to spend a night or two in especially if you are headed towards the dam or doing some hiking outside of the strip.
