This hotel is very affordable and the chapel is beautiful for a very low price!!! I was very impressed. As we waited we had a drink at the Cuban club in the lobby. The people were very friendly and helpful. I recommend this place for a beautiful service on a low budget.

Price is good but this is about it. Oh, and I liked that they have pool and style/decor I find interesting. Otherwise I have nothing great to say about this place. They need to step up in their maintenance. I was looking for a cheap stay during my first visit in Las Vegas, next time I will be definetly prepared... More

Q-tip on bed table, leak in toilets (so noisy all the night), dirty floor, buzzing ice machine next to the room door, hard bed, you can ear your top neighbour walking on the cracking floor. I pay for 2 nights but leave after the first!

I stayed at the Shalimar 3 nights in September 2016, for $40 a night, including taxes, booked through hostelworld.com. For this amount, instead of having to share a hostel room with strangers on bunkbeds, I got a large, though aging room with a comfortable bed, daily maid service, sheets, towels, toiletries, television, wi-fi, telephone and air-con. The hotel was on... More

I'm mad at myself for not taking pictures to post here. This was by far the worst hotel I've stayed at in my life. I've stayed at nicer Motels and this place was gross. It looks nice on the outside. A little much with the wedding chapel stuff since we were just staying here while passing through Vegas. But the... More

Things were bad when we got there and just got worse. First of all when we pulled up there was a sign on the front door to use the door on the side. After walking around to the side and getting in, noticed that the front door with the sign was open. Took FOREVER to check in and once we... More

Myself and a friend stayed here for 3 nights. I found it through hostels.com and so thought it wouldn't be bad especially since we paid $144 for the whole stay. The trip advisor reviews made me sceptical of what it would be like, however we had a good experience. The staff on reception weren't very talkative however our room was... More

we got a cockroach in the bathroom and the room looked like it hadn't been clean. We ask at reception for another room and we got one which window was inside a corridor with 4 AC extraction units in it... that made the room a sauna. We needed to print a boarding pass and we had no help from the... More

When I checked-in, I got a smoking room, even if the booking system didn't mention it. I asked and I have been moved to another no-smoking room. It was a super-small room. There was barely room for 1 leg to pass between the bed and the furniture. The pieces of furniture were old and the bathroom looked dirty. Bad hotel.... More

Not familiar with Las Vegas so know now to pay a bit extra to be on the strip or near the Fremont Experience although budget shouldn't mean dirty. But it was alright, big room with nice balcony overlooking the pool, Friendly front staff. Bathroom door had make up stains on it, vent was noisy and hairdryer didn't work, TV was... More
