The Aria Resort & Casino offers a blend of modern elegance and luxury, with its central location earning high marks from guests. While many travelers admire the hotel's atmosphere and clean facilities, opinions on the rooms are divided, citing both modernity and maintenance issues. Service experiences vary, with some praising the staff's attention and others frustrated by service lapses.
The amenities are modern yet criticized for missing basics and high costs, and despite often quiet rooms, noise can be an issue. Reviewers frequently question the value, pointing to steep fees for amenities.

Detailed Reviews

Beautiful luxurious hotel room is very clean comfortable bed & pillows. Got an entrance view room on the 27 floor you need your room card to use the elevator. There’s an iPad in the room to check the hotel’s services and amenities ours didn’t work for 3 days although we complained at the reception but it wasn’t fixed. Therefore we had to figure out how to open the curtains by using an electric switch at the side of the bathroom door! Later we discovered another switch next to the room door where you switch on 2 options: red light for privacy or green for service so your room gets cleaned ! Of course our room wasn’t cleaned for 3 days because the iPad wasn’t working we didn’t know about these switches. Drinking and mini bar items are overpriced you touch them automatically they’re on your bill to pay for with very sensitive censors you can’t use the mini fridge to put your own water bottle. There’s a safe in the night stand easy to use but if you don’t unblock it before you check out there’s a $100 penalty that goes on your credit card. Resort fees are $50 plus tax. There’s no complimentary coffee or tea in the room, nor disposable slippers, nor shower caps. You can use Uber or taxis at the front entrance of the resort. Taxi’s start at $5.25 depending on your destination like from Aria to the Sphere around $16 plus tipping.

We had never stayed at Aria before and thought it would make a nice change.
From the moment we arrived we were treated with the greatest kindness. We were upgraded to a Tower Suite, and it was just beautiful! The Tower Suite also gave us access to the VIP lounge. It was a great place to grab a snack, cold drink or a delicious coffee.
Approximately 1000sqft, with a powder room at the front door, a living room, separate bedroom, and a very well appointed jetted tub/shower separate water closet with a bidet.
The bed was wonderful as were the pillows, bedding and towels.
All of the drapes and sheers were automatic.
There is a tablet in the bedroom and the sitting room to order food, control lights etc. You can also control lights and drapery from the wall.
I love the "Goodmorning" button and the "Goodnight" buttons that open drapes, turn on certain lights or close the drapes and turn off the lights respectively.
There is your standard stocked for a fee bar fridge, but there is also a big fridge to put your things in.
One large tv in the sitting room, one large one in the bedroom and a small one directed at the jetted tub.
There was only one small thing that took the tiniest amount of shine from our room. There was hair in the shower drain.
This might be our new go to when traveling to Las Vegas.

I hadn't visited Las Vegas in about a decade so this hotel was new to me. I wanted to stay at a different hotel that I hadn't already stayed in from previous visits. I chose this one based on the reviews from Trip Advisor. It was the best choice I've ever made.
This was a mother/daughter trip where we were in Vegas for a residency show. Our flight arrived in the A.M. and went to the hotel & were able to have our luggage held until our room was ready. We walked over to the registration desk to check in. We were expecting a room not to be ready yet but fortunately we arrived at the right time and one was available sooner than expected. The front desk checked us in and we had breakfast in the hotel & did some nearby activities before going to our room. Even the steward that delivered our luggage later provided us with additional recommendations about the room and restaurants & drug stores nearby. (I'm sure the tip helped too.) Very friendly.
Check out the hotel's speak easy lounge on weekends. It's hidden behind the Easy Donut's on the Promenade level. I was told upon entering you can reserve a table in advance on the hotel laptop in the room. But if you don't have a reserved table, it's standing room only. I really enjoyed it and would go again.
My only recommendation would be to get rid of the weighted snack tray and beverages in the refrigerator. We were careful not to use it or move anything in it because the hotel will charge you. However, if there are places open 24 hours on the lobby level and/or promenade level where you can essentially get the same thing, why have it in your room. I'd rather use the refrigerator for leftovers from restaurants or bottled water you buy at the gift shop or on the strip. I would suggest the hotels look at their numbers of how many guests actually utilize the weighted snack tray & refrigerator. Just a thought.
Overall, really nice hotel. Smooth check in process at front desk or when using their MGM app. The iPad in the room to control the lights, curtains, make reservations was a nice touch. I would definitely stay again on a future visit.

I thought booking the sky suites at Aria would give you special attention. My husband and I had stayed previously back in 2021 and had an easy, nice stay in the Sky Suites. We stayed in a regular room for a last minute booking on a busy weekend in 2023 and also had a great stay. We thought we would take our kids before Thanksgiving for a few days and booked the Sky Suites two bedroom penthouse. I checked in online as soon as our flight landed around noon. We hadn’t gotten a text about our room being ready at 3pm (check in time) so we went to the desk thinking it was an error. We needed to change clothes and get ready for a 4:30pm show at the Sphere. We were told it looked like our room wouldn’t be ready until 5pm. We were told by the front desk check in time is 3pm but when you read the fine print it says only if available. We were also told because of the Formula One racing that weekend, they were behind cleaning the suites. I feel like having a hotel this size you would have plenty of housekeeping staff to get rooms ready on time. They said they would take off $200 from our bill which is insignificant and was actually never credited from our final bill. I finally got a text at 6:33pm that our room was ready, 3.5 hours late. We also had an issue with a reservation at Catch that we were late to because of the traffic due to all the Formula One road closures. Trying to get help with reservation from someone was hard. Catch ended up getting a reservation for us in person for a later time but after all that traveling, traffic, and no room to rest in, we just wanted to finally go to our room and order room service. Our last night there, we got back to our room around 9pm and realized none of the drapes would close. It’s difficult trying to get kids to bed and having to have maintenance try to fix it as they are going to sleep. Also, don’t expect to have something special for special occasions. This is not the hotel for that. I mentioned in our email regarding transportation that it was also my daughter’s 8th birthday during our stay. I guess that was lost or dismissed. Thought a card would have been nice and easy as we have stayed at other hotels that make special occasions extra special. We aren’t gamblers but like to come to Vegas for nice dining and shows. We felt like we were treated like we were just 1 of the million customers staying at a MGM property, just moving them in and out at whatever time works best for them. Sky Suites did a really poor job of making you feel like you paid more for something better. Yes, they have complementary beverages and two food treats in the lobby and a driver that takes you to and from the airport. Everything else is sub par from there and not worth it. I will not be booking MGM Hotel after this stay. I’ll try the Wynn or Four Seasons in the future and hopefully I’m not just a number there.

The hotel facilities are very modern, very beautiful and complete. The range of services is very wide. The treatment of the staff is cold, they do not engage with the guest from a warm and empathetic place.
The room does not include breakfast, complimentary water, coffee or tea, really shocking, that is very bad for this class of hotels. They sell you everything at very high values in my opinion.
The view is excellent. This year I am going back for work, it would be a good business gesture to have complimentary water every day in the room, especially thinking about the climate in Vegas.

We've been going to LV for 25 years, and have stayed in many hotels on and off-strip. We invited 4 friends from Japan; they asked to stay at Aria. We made three reservations. Pretty significant deposit required in advance, and a hold was placed on my credit card for full room cost + $100/night/room. Altogether, over $6,000. The rooms were run down. Carpets were stained; bathroom floor was dirty. Shower head had lime buildup and handle leaked. One friend did not want housekeeping, so set privacy light. The room had an electric problem which reset everything, so housekeeper entered that day. Another friend could not use the in-drawer safe; operator told us we had to have maintenance come in the room, but someone had to be there. Since my friends do not speak English, I had to be there. Same day service was not predictable, so we scheduled for next day at 9:00 am. Maintenance person was 20 minutes late. Inquired at concierge desk about something and she could not have been more churlish. Housekeeper in our room threw away some items that we had on our counter; they may have seemed like trash, but they were not.
Not all bad. Front desk clerks we dealt with were extremely polite and very helpful. Proper Eats Food Hall was a great place to try lots of different foods, and kitchen workers were very pleasant.
We will definitely avoid Aria in future visits. In fact, we will probably avoid all MGM properties.

Response from MGM Resorts Guest Experience, Owner at Aria Resort & Casino
Responded 9 Oct 2024
Dear CWRinPgh, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your recent stay at ARIA. We genuinely regret to hear about the challenges you faced, especially given your long history of visiting Las Vegas and the significant investment you made for this trip. While we appreciate your kind words about the friendly assistance from our Front Desk and the enjoyable experience at Proper Eats Food Hall, we sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered in your guestroom. It is disappointing to hear that the condition of your room did not meet your expectations, including the stained carpets, the dirty bathroom, the showerhead issues, and the complications with the in-drawer safe. We also understand how frustrating it must have been to deal with maintenance delays and miscommunication, especially while accommodating your friends. Additionally, we are truly sorry for the incident involving your items being discarded. We recognize how this could impact your overall experience and regret any inconvenience it caused. Your feedback is invaluable, and we will use your insights to improve our services and maintain the high standards we strive for. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. Warm regards, Maddie Guest Experience

Las Vegas
Pay for early check in & they send you to a room that’s occupied & people in the room are pissed AT YOU!!!!!
I am not sure what anyone else’s expectations are but when you pay a hotel, the Aria in Las Vegas, for an early check in and you are charged for an early check in and the Aria hotel in Las Vegas checks you in and sends you to a room that is occupied and the occupants vent their anger at you because you have scared them trying to get into the room they are still occupying………what is your expectation of the top rated Aria hotel in Las Vegas to provide you a service you have been charged for, that you have already paid for and that the Aria Hotel in alas Vegas have failed to provide!?!? Is it my responsibility to confront patrons of the Aria hotel to enter the room I have been charged for and that I have paid for?! Or is that the clear responsibility of the Aria hotel?! Yes, after I had to stand in line for 30 minutes to rectify the problem with the front desk staff and they offered to comp a night of my stay, why do I have to take time away from my vacation and the plans I have made for my vacation and for me to miss a reservation for something because the Aria hotel has clearly balled up by not fulfilling their obligation to provide me a service I have been charged for and that I have already paid for!?!!!?!!
The insult to injury is that the new room they eventually placed us in (1.5 hours after our guaranteed early check in that they had committed to and that we had paid for) had dried menstrual blood, large black pubic hairs and clipped toenail remnants in the bathroom. Do any of you find that disgusting, revolting and evading the basic fundamental decency of a clean and safe room that the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas should be committed to providing to customers that have paid for that basic service and product!?!!?
The concierge was informed of the problem, (I was tired of waiting in line, had already missed a reservation because of the Aria Hotel’s screw up), told me it would be addressed immediately…….12 hours later (as of this post), and absolutely nothing has been done.
I am
Not sure if the Aria hotel in Las Vegas really care, but this is pretty basic stuff and no resolution or solution has been provided.

I waited a while to write this review, hoping time might soften my opinions, but I feel it’s important to share my experience to help future guests make an informed decision about staying at this property.
I stayed at the Aria in June 2024 for a 10-day business trip. The hotel’s reputation and great location were the main reasons my coworkers and I selected this property. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations.
Upon check-in, I was shocked to find my room quite dirty. It appeared it hadn’t been properly cleaned in quite some time—dust coated the surfaces, there were stains on the carpet and walls, and the bathroom counter still had dried toothpaste. Given the length of my stay, I decided to report this to the front desk. The staff was polite and promptly moved me to a new room, which I appreciated.
However, the second room wasn’t much better. While it appeared cleaner at first glance, I discovered a large stain on the carpet accompanied by a dried pea and noodle (someone had obviously spilled a cup o' noodles and it wasn't cleaned up.) I returned to the front desk, where the team apologized profusely and assured me the next room would be inspected by management before I moved in. Thankfully, the third room was fine—though it’s worth noting that the property feels due for a major refresh. A coworker had a similar issue with her first room, which had clearly not been serviced; it still contained personal items left behind by the previous guest.
Unfortunately, my negative experience didn’t end there. The most alarming incident occurred a few nights into our stay. Another coworker was in her room around 2 a.m. when someone unlocked her door using a key. Thankfully, she had latched the door that night, preventing them from actually getting in, but the incident left her shaken and obviously concerned for her safety. How someone else had a key to her room remains very troubling. This was ultimately the final straw for us, and we decided to check out early and move to the Vdara.
While the Aria’s location is fantastic and the staff did their best to address our concerns, these repeated issues—poor room cleanliness, inadequate quality control, and a serious security lapse—were disappointing. I hope management takes steps to address these problems, but for now, I would caution potential guests, especially solo female travelers, to consider other options.

First time to try Aria & found it convenient for a stay within the Strip as its a 10 min. walk to see the Bellagio fountain show, & the Conservatory, also can take free tram from Aria to other hotels or within mgm group. Room was cleaned, stayed in a tower suite overlooking las vegas blvd., mountains, can see airport, convenient transfers to/from there too like 15 mins. amazing restaurants tried the din tai fung, & proper eats food hall top notch food online ordering bit pricey but quality is key. pool area good, staff were nice & professional “everywhere”! From the lounge, cleaning services, concierge, check-in we had very good conversations even if it was just asking for directions, loved this stay at Aria! don’t be deterred to book here, Stark contrast from what I read with other reviews before heading to vegas, slots were loose too so it might make up for the spend LOL.

Very nice hotel, great style, not busy like other hotels in Las Vegas. The hotel smells of sweet perfume everywhere. The shop at this hotel is also very good, quality souvenirs at good prices. The rooms are very good but be aware that they do not clean the rooms every day and the service was poor when we asked for our room to be cleaned. No one answered the phone and customer service even less. Beautiful swimming pools, very busy but super good service.
