This is more of a locals casino not on the strip or really near anything other than a stadium with minor league hockey. but it has a lot going for it really good restaurants a very nice pool and spa, a large theatre and bowling alley we stayed in a suite that was comped and could not have been more pleased. Drink service on the floor was pitifully slow but after the waitress finds you and you tip her she will come back.
Love coming back. First time back to Vegas since early 2020. This will be our 4th stay at the Orleans. And feel like we are home. The staff is so friendly down to the security, pool life guards, front desk, dealers(Danny) and restaurant staff. We will continue to return. We excepted the slots to be tight, but we were able to sit there along time. Casino very clean. We ordered refrigerator and was delivered before we even unpacked. Called for extra towels and toilet tissue was delivered less then 5 mins. Ate ate the Cafe for breakfast 4 days excellent!! Nice to see old faces, that remembered us. The french toast platter great and well priced. Ate at TGIF and Baliwick, Bailiwick was excellent with wonderful service, thank you Cher. I see some reviews state rooms seem old, yes it’s not a high end new strip hotel. But clean, love the little sitting area with couch. Its vegas still see the “crazies” but the security was always there and I feel I can I have my 74 year mother walk and gamble on her own and not worry. Thank Orleans!!!!…
Yes it looks dated but it is clean. I didn’t see any dust along the baseboards. Furniture was in good workable condition. I liked it with exception of the sitting area being located with a view of the sink and it was a tad too dark even with the lights on. Lighter color carpet would definitely help. BTW - Water pressure was the Best in Vegas😎. Towels were soft and large enough for me but for a guest 6 feet and above it might not be enough. Bed was comfortable. Not too hard and not too soft. Overall an Excellent room. Casino took some getting used to find your way around but it was spacious. Again the casino floor was too dark. Lighter colors to liven it up. Casino was okay. Food court - only ate there once. It was okay. Tables could have used more timely cleaning.…
Would rate 3.5 overall. Valet guys are the best!!! Polite, quick, hardworking. The basic hotel rooms are just ok - decent size, comfortable mattress, but in need of updating. Housekeeping service responsive to requests for AC repair & slow draining tub. Decent casino, some $10 tables. Good food at restaurants & Starbucks coffee available near main entrance. Overall, would return.
As the water in the tub starting settling around my ankles as I showered, I thought of the reviews I have read stating similar experiences with clogged drains in Vegas hotel rooms. As I was staying only one night, on a family member's comp, I didn't address it with the front desk. The only other issue was that the sink handles and facuet were not totally cleaned; I had brought wipes so did it myself. The room and bed were comfortable and and there are a lot of slots and video poker machines in the casino. It was my first time staying there and as there isn't anything to do outside of the casino, and I would not walk around outside at night, I would not stay again unless I was on a comp.
