The accomodations were OK except for: - The hot water outage. - The app with digital key always glitched. I was stuck a couple of times. -The air conditioner/heater was loud and the fan never turned off.
MGM is very clean hotel with very friendly staff, the best restaurants, great shows, lots of slot machines, great walking location to New York New York, Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay. My wife and I love the easy walk and experience through the shops and casinos to all the aforementioned hotels. It is also a stop on the Monorail route, which is a good way to visit other casinos on the strip. We've stayed at other hotels but MGM Grand is now the only place we stay when visiting Las Vegas.
I found the card dealers at MGM to be robotic. Many did not interact with the players or show any empathy to tbe losing players. Sone didn’t speak at all, or even announce the hand totals as they dealt blackjack. Losing is part of the game, but at least the dealers can be pleasant, offer guidance, and show empathy after bad beats.
People in the room next door were arguing and loud in the middle of the night, our complaint was ignored. Really horrible customer service when we complained to the hotel manager and Concierge. Unacceptable to not resolve the issue for your customers or even investigate the issue. Response was “good luck and hope you get some sleep on the plane home”.
I was completely underwhelmed with the MGM Grand. In the room itself it’s a mediocre hotel room with a $50 per stay charge just to use the mini fridge, which is locked and you have to call the front desk for the code to use it. Every night there were bags of garbage and bedding left outside the rooms the cleaners were turning over, but they just stayed there well into the next day at times. The location was not great either. There are a lot of closed down shopping and food areas right next to the hotel, so you end up having to walk to Planet Hollywood before finding things to do or other food options on the strip. While resort fees are pretty much standard now, the wifi in the hotel was awful and unusable most of the time. So unless you’re planning to use the fitness Center every day, you won’t get much for your resort fee either. All in all, save yourself some money and stay pretty much anywhere else and you’ll have a better Vegas experience.…
We had a great time during the Thanksgiving Holiday at MGM Grand. Staff was very accommodating and service was excellent. I recommend this hotel as a selection for family, business or personal stays. It’s a prefect location on the strip as well. Thank you!
Had a great time very nice room and super comfortable great drink service comps weren’t bad we will definitely be back in the near future and would recommend it to anyone that’s looking to go to Las Vegas
Trash and bottles under the bed when I checked in. The beds were very uncomfortable. Also one of the lights blinked all night even after turning the switch off...didn't bother as much though. Been to Vegas 20 times ...likely the worst rooms I have encountered
We were super happy with our stay! The hotel was clean, lobby beautiful, parking garage nice and lots of parking space. Our room was cleaned daily during our stay which saved us a lot of time! The beds were super comfortable as well. Would stay here again for sure!
It was a delightful and wonderful stay. Came here for a conference but will coming again for sure. In room dining and house keeping was fabulous. Go for the casinos and the shops which have pretty good stuff with nice people.
