Guests commend the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino staff for their friendly and professional demeanor, although there have been occasional concerns regarding the efficiency of service. While the hotel's atmosphere is celebrated for its vibrancy and live entertainment, many guests feel the rooms could benefit from modernization, noting issues with noise, cleanliness, and general upkeep. Opinions on cleanliness are mixed, with some visitors satisfied and others pointing out inconsistent housekeeping.
The hotel's location is generally appreciated, especially for those attending conventions. However, the value proposition is often questioned due to high resort fees and perceived overpriced amenities.

Detailed Reviews
I visit Las Vegas often as I have family there, so I went for a trip Dec. 26-30, 2019. The check-in process was fairly fast and I was offer an upgraded room to one of the newly refurbished rooms for $20 more a night. I accepted the upgrade and the room's decor was an upgrade from my last visit and I was pleased. What was disappointing was the lack of cleanliness in two areas: my room was only cleaned once in my four day stay after I called housekeeping to report the oversight twice and on my arrival day, someone had left their food tray outside of their door and the tray sat there from about 3pm until the next day about 11am.
The situation with the elevators was also annoying. The elevators at the newly improved end of the hotel do not operate after midnight and the main tower's elevators are in use, so of course the wait is obnoxious and grossly inconvenient.
I did not feel like this was the value for what I paid and will most likely choose another hotel when I return in April.

Thank you for taking the time to share the details of your recent experience with us. While we are happy to hear you were pleasantly surprised by your upgraded room and our new decor, we are disappointed to hear that your stay fell flat in some areas. We will take a look at your room with our housekeeping staff to ensure that our quality standards are being met. We do appreciate you letting our staff know while you were on property. We also appreciate your feedback on our elevators, as we do close one down after midnight for security purposes. We will review your concerns with our staff and management as we work to improve in these areas moving forward. It is our hope that you will allow us another opportunity to welcome you and truly exceed your expectations. Regards, Rachel

I stayed at Westgate during CES and amidst the Hussle and bustle Westgate was a nice place to wind down after being at a convention all day. I stayed at a hotel on the strip during CES last year and it was terrible especially having to take a car to the Las Vegas convention center so I was glad when my company booked our rooms at Westgate this year. The hotel is walking distance to the convention center which was great because I did not have to sit in traffic and was able to get some cardio in everyday. The 1st day I arrived at Westgate the hotel was extremely busy but was understandable being that the next day was the 1st day of CES. My coworker had already checked into our room so when I arrived I was struggling to find the guest elevators when a very nice employee named Dallas offered to assist me (per our convo I think he said he was a window cleaner). He was so nice he even helped me carry 1 of my luggage to the elevator bank. I ended up seeing him the next day and he totally remembered me from the day prior and offered to give me walking directions to the convention center which was so helpful because I got to the convention center super fast! I was so amazed with how friendly and personable he was. He also gave me great recommendations on where to eat in the hotel, my personal favorite was “Rikki Tiki Sushi” where I sat at the bar and was able to get a quick yummy bite after the convention. I will definitely stay here again during the next CES and hopefully during an actual vacation soon!

+1
we stayed there on Thursday night, it's much cheaper than on Fri or Sat night (which would be triple the price), for the price on Fri & Sat night, I would just give 3 stars, but as now is price is cheaper on Thursday night, so I gave it 4 stars. The price doesn't include breakfast, you need to add (may be $20 per person for the breakfast buffet), the room is up to standard, clean, as it is a "hotel" (not cheap motel), so it should be up to standard. But for the check-in, you need to wait for a long time, because there is a long queue, and there are staff selling you to upgrade your room or buy their package when you are walking to check-in, a bit annoying.

JUST DON'T! I would never return to this hotel unless I absolutely had to. First impression when arriving is the sad and depressing atmosphere. Staff unfriendly, rooms not clean (poop splatter under toilet seat, hairs on bed sheets/counters/floors, crumbs on carpet and chairs), old and patched up furniture, cheap updating and lacking in other typical amenities, Green program for $10 daily food credit in exchange for declining housekeeping doesn't work, elevators extremely slow when working. I could go on, however, I'm too tired trying to make the best of it for my family. I just can't wait to check out.

The casino was clean and not too crowded. Staff were nice and helpful. The room was nice. They tried so hard to clean and maintain the property to protect the people. It was really A pleasant experience. The safety measure of not Cleaning the room daily so I believe it’s just to protect the hotel guests. However they could have just ask the hotel guest if they want or do not want their rooms to be cleaned daily at least they should’ve given them their options.

I've been to Vegas many times and have stayed at various hotels. I highly recommend the Westgate. We went during its reopening weekend. I found them to encourage safe distancing and mask wearing. The casino and areas of the hotel were constantly being sanitized. Temperature checks were taken when entering the hotel and masks were offered to guests. I loved how the parking area was so close to the entrance of the hotel given the fact that there was no valet service offered yet. Guest Services were accommodating when asking for extra towels and other things we needed. The king size room was very spacious with a lovely view of the Las Vegas Country Club Golf Course. The room had a refrigerator and a nice sized desk and "bar" area. The pool and fitness area were also very nice. We stayed a week and were very comfortable and satisfied with our stay at the Westgate. Sadly, the live entertainment by "Beau and Arrow" in the bar lobby area was not enjoyable. The hotel needs better quality entertainment for sure. The brass Elvis statue in the lobby was far more entertaining, even wearing a mask. Overall, The Westgate has a lot to offer!

I was on a business trip in Las Vegas and decided on the Westgate due to its close proximity to the convention center and the Strip as well as a convenient monorail station at the hotel.
Check in was swift and the staff was very professional and courteous. All staff interactions from the front desk, housekeeping to dining and casual encounters in the resort were pleasant.
The room I chose was the Signature room on the Concierge level. It was very clean and very practical. Unlike many Vegas resorts that have jam packed minibars, I really appreciated the empty fridge provided which was very convenient. The view was decent and overall very comfortable.
If I were to suggest an improvement to the Concierge Lounge, I would have liked additional snacks in the afternoon as well as non alcoholic beverages, especially for the daily rate charged. Although it is a posh, quiet getaway to relax and get some work done, I find the refreshment selection in the afternoon to be lackluster.
I highly recommend the Westgate for business travelers or convention goers as it is overall a very good value and a solid resort.

We visited Westgate just as Las Vegas was re-opening and we felt safe the entire time. No Valet parking, but they opened the valet lot to guests so parking was very close and convenient. No bell man, but if you requested one, they would meet you out front. Temperature taken each time we walked in the door from any entrance.
At check in, our VIP Concierge, Guy Olsen, escorted us to the VIP check in and then personally walked us to our room. He briefed us on what was open, what was still closed and gave us a QR code to scan to see what was being opened all across Vegas and when.
Throughout our trip, a 7 day stay, Guy helped us navigate through everything, including assisting us with a cabana rental for the 4th of July. Service at the pool and specifically at the cabana was on-point. Our server kept us hydrated, fed and found us and our guests no matter where we moved around the pool area, to be sure our every need was met.
That night, we had dinner at the tepan table at Benihana's. Social distance was maintained between our group and another group at the table and the chef wore a mask while cooking. It was an odd appearance but we were so thankful to enjoy the usual cooking display and food was amazing.
During our stay at Westgate, we also gambled and were impressed with the attendance to regular cleaning between players. Ever time a player left their seat, the space was immediately wiped down so the next player could sit.
The biggest bummer for us was that the monorail was not running. This isn't Westgate's fault as it is a separate entity and their were still government restrictions that kept it from reopening, but one of our favorite reasons for staying at Westgate is the monorail and the ease of access to the strip. Westgate countered this by providing free shuttle service on a limited basis and we did take advantage of that.
Overall, Westgate and their staff seemed genuinely excited to welcome back their patrons and took exceptional steps to make us feel safe and very well taken care of for our entire stay. We will be back in December and can't wait to see more things open by then.

We became members of Westgate Travel Club (sold at the Westgate Hotel - sat through a presentation by Sassoon Emambakhsh) two years ago. At that time we paid $4000.00 for a lifetime membership for all of their so called “benefits.”
There are no benefits! You can’t get through when you call Westgate Travel Club (WTC) to book anything, you get a regular room instead of a guaranteed “signature villa,“ you are encouraged to book everything online through the Westgate site, but it’s really an Expedia booking site, so you are not acknowledged as a member WTC.
We came here for a week, went to the Westgate Travel Club Office where they sell the travel memberships, and suddenly no one has any power to do anything, except for Sasoon, who is conveniently always busy doing a presentation selling more travel memberships. The folks at the hotel front desk don’t know anything about the Westgate Travel Club! You get nothing for your membership!
The hotel is dirty. The hallway carpets need to be vacuumed. The elevator and ice machine on our floor does not work. The pool needs is dirty. People leave food and drinks sitting around the pool area, and no one picks them up. When I called the front desk to tell them my room safe wasn’t working, I was on put on hold for 27 minutes! It wasn’t until 4 hours later that a repairman showed up to look at the safe while we sat in the room waiting.
Avoid staying here! Reconsider becoming a Westgate Travel Member. You’re wasting your hard earned money.

Great place great price rooms. Highly recommend and still free parking, take monorail to travel through The Strip but you can use their valet if you choose too. Theres a relax atmosphere at Westgate Las Vegas. And you can save $10 that you can spend at Hotel restaurant or shops, just go green in your room by not having housekeeper changing and cleaning room while you stay, why cleaning daily unless you made a mess yourself, if not go green and get $10 in credit.
