We always enjoy our stay here. Staff is friendly and always exceeds our expectations! We stay here several times a year. Location is off strip, but everything we need is within walking distance. We always feel safe because of good security presence.
Had a terrific experience during our four-day visit - our stay kicked off with the nicest, most helpful front desk person, who could not have been nicer or more helpful! We asked for nearby rooms and she was able to make that happen in the most pleasant way - that terrific experience set the tone for our visit, which exceeded our expectations - everyone at the Nugget was great, and the folks at The Grille made us some yummy, reasonably-priced food - our rooms were comfy and well-tended - THANK YOU to all the outstanding employees and the whole Golden Nugget team - we will definitely be back!
We were very happy with the service and location was excellent. Good food. Vic’s steakhouse . Also love chic filet . Good fun selection of slots. Friendly staff. Very helpful with medical fridge and accessible room for my wheelchair. Very nice stay.
Booked into Golden Nugget for a weekend, so disappointed. The hotel is in dire need of renovations. The bathroom in our room was fraught with problems, toilet overflowed, shower would not drain and sink was so rusty I was afraid to use it. The hotel itself is supposed to be no smoking but the smell of stale smoke was unbearable. If you are planning on doing any gambling, the only machine that pays is the ATM. Either lower your standards significantly or don’t stay there. Will NEVER be back. 🤮🤮
We loved our stay at the Golden Nugget. We stayed in one of the Tranquility Rooms, and everything was wonderful. We can’t wait to come back! Dee, who works at the front desk, was super friendly and very helpful!
Great location on Fremont Street. I would stay again. Fremont street is an entire experience within Vegas. Better gambling than the strip. I really enjoyed it. Only issue, change the lotion in the bathroom, it's rancid!
Thanksgiving Trip, we love the Golden Nugget and have stayed there for years. If we stayed at another hotel we felt like we were cheating on our favorite hotel/casino the GN! However with this trip we were very disappointed with the check in process. Upon check in we were early and were told if our room was ready we would have to pay $40 for early check in or come back at 4:00. We came back around at 3:00 to see if we could possibly get in and the line was wrapped around and down the the hall toward Claim Jumper Restaurant. People were laying in the hall and on their luggage waiting to be checked in. They literally denied them any kind of early check in unless everyone paid extra. We had just left another hotel that had us check in mobile on our phone and were in our room at noon! No lines, mobile check in and room key was on our app. And best of all they didn’t try getting an extra $40 from us to check in early. We heard from a lot of people tired and lying in the hallways that they were told the same regarding early check in. I ask the GN management.. wouldn’t it be best to serve the customers and let them check in and avoid the very long lines and the amount of stress it puts in your employees? Really what did you get out of that? Don’t you want to retain customers? Other hotels are not giving us this checkin nightmare experience. We are so disappointed. …
A poorly designed shower. It leaks causing a slippery hazard. The tub is too high for shorter people to get out of without grab bars to assist you. A lawsuit waiting to happen. A very poorly design shower.
We came to Vegas for my husbands birthday and had a great time! The room was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The location is great as it is on Fremont St. and is a short car to everything!
It was an awesome trip! We enjoyed staying near Fremont Street as everything is so close. The room was clean and perfect size. The casino had both new and old school slot machines plus all the tables. We ate at several of the restaurants; CJ, Chick fil a, and SaltGrass all were very good. The only thing I did not like was that you had to call to get towels and housekeeping.
