There was a request for information on hotels. I have visited LV dozens of times over the years, including twice in 2016, always staying on the strip. Treatment of tourists by the hotels has changed greatly over the last 10+ years, and usually not for the better. Here are some things to be aware of when you make your plans....

It all started with the room key. We were staying for 5 nights, to avoid the hotel resort fee at nearby casinos. They had a pool, was close to the kids... but I digress. The room key. It worked on 1 key, not on the other. No problem, one works fine. The next day, neither of them worked. Maintenance let...

Has no one realized that fresh air doesn't come from a bottle. Also many people are getting more and more allergic to these cheap scented products. They are ALL made with toxic chemicals. Trying to find accommodation in Vegas is becoming more and more difficult. I have to phone the hotels and speak with housekeeping and beg to have my...

This property is located across the street from a 24hr. porn book store and it is really filthy. The good was that a room on Saturday night was only $58 but i got about 15 bed bug bites on my arm and back. I really freaked and made sure i left my suitcase outside when i got home so i...

I did a last-minute booking of this hotel after reading about it and decided to ditch my reservation at the Motel 6 at the south end of the strip. I am so glad I made that decision. I was checked in from Saturday night to Friday night. If you're used to budget traveling and you're without kids, you'll be ok....

Right on the Strip, but in between of the fancy and old part. The room and even the bathroom were clean, but the towels were already used before. Swimming pool was suprisingly clean. One big plus - there is a Deuce stop just infront of the area. Btw. there are some people who live there permanently, interesting to talk with...

I stayed for 5 nights while attending a convention in Las Vegas. The motel was clean, the desk clerks were very responsive, and I felt quite safe in the area. Strongly recommend it as a widow traveling alone. Inexpensive but quite adequate.

Other then paying $170 for a friday and saturday night nascar weekend hotel room, it's a pretty good hotel. We only stayed the two nights but they never came in and cleaned the room or made the beds, the AC actually was blowing hot air, but wasn't too bad considering it wasn't summer time, and you can only make a...
