The Palazzo At The Venetian hotel is celebrated for its spacious and luxurious suites, with the prime location earning high marks for convenience to attractions and events. However, guests have called out inconsistencies in service quality, experiencing both professional staff and frustrating waits. While the variety of dining options is appreciated, many travelers feel the value is diminished by hidden fees and costly amenities. Cleanliness receives mixed reviews, with most finding the atmosphere comfortable but some reporting housekeeping issues.

We decided to book a Luxury 2 Queen Prestige Lounge Access Room at the Palazzo. Making reservations was easy on their website. We had to make adjustments to our vacation dates a couple of times because of some work-related issues, and modifying reservations require canceling and rebooking which is easy to do when you book directly with the Venetian on their official website. I highly recommend booking directly, and be sure to sign up for their Venetian Rewards Program that gives you 5% addition discount on the room when booking directly.
The taxi ride from the airport is smooth. The Venetian is close to one of the express exits, so you’re not in tight strip traffic for very long at all. The Hotel staff is available at the taxi drop-off to help you with luggage and lead you in the correct direction. But, you just enter and you’ll see the check-in area. The line was short when we arrived during normal check-in hours. Rather than check-in at the front desk, we proceeded through the casino floor which leads to the Hotel elevators. There’s a security guard there where you’ll need to show him/her your Prestige reservation, and he’ll let you through. You board any elevator set, as they all allow access to the Prestige Lounge floor 23.
Check in at the Prestige Lounge Desk (floor 23) is pleasant. We were given keys expediently, and given a tour of the prestige lounge. My family was impressed by what we saw in the prestige lounge!
We were assigned room 919 on floor 31. Our room number was 31919 as a result. The room was a 2-queen luxury room. I am very picky about my room and do a thorough inspection before the family is allowed to unpack and call it our room. I check everything, and all my family kept hearing from me was, “Nice! Very, very, nice,” or “Excellent.” I check the drawers, picture frame tops, behind cabinets, all around the beds, couch cushions, under desks, chairs, and tables…… everything, everything, everywhere. The room was clean. All I kept thinking was, “How does anyone do that with such a huge room…. Every room is at least this huge size.” So, I’m kind of a nut and I bring Clorox wipes to wipe everything down for the purpose of making everything clean. So, 2 nights into our stay I’m wiping everything down and my wife looks at me and says, “What are you cleaning?” and I respond, “Obviously I’m cleaning nothing because everything was already clean. It’s a habit of mine. I’m accomplishing nothing.” Yah. It’s that clean. It’s that awesome.
Enough of that. We absolutely enjoyed hanging in our room. It was part of the fun. The living area is just plain cozy. Our family loved the master switch that controls all the lights and power curtains. It’s very convenient and useful.
As stated earlier, my family was impressed with the welcome tour of the Prestige Lounge. When we actually used the lounge throughout the day, it made things so convenient. Any drink was always available throughout the day. There was always something available to snack on just in case you want a snack. Although we participated in the evening hors-d’oeuvres, we never used the evening hot offerings as a substitute to our dinner. Some families used it as a dinner substitute, and the Prestige Staff was fine with that. In other words, your 17 year old son that eats for 3 people will be allowed to eat as much as he wants to. My wife and I loved the 4:00PM – 7:00PM open bar. My son wanted a Shirly Temple and I asked if he could order one, thinking they probably couldn’t because it wasn’t on the menu. As I’m asking our waiter, she immediately starts shaking her head yes before I could say 3 words. They say yes to every request (that’s reasonable, of course). They’re amazing.

The prestige lounge bathrooms are well-kept and modern. There’s actually a beautiful view outside of the men’s bathroom vanity of the strip. When we were there the toilet paper is Charmin ultra-soft. What hotel does that? The prestige lounge experience is outstanding.
So. Where are we booking our next Vegas trip? Where do you think we will make our next reservations? If you’re thinking about making your next Vegas stay at the Palazzo, stop thinking. Just book the Palazzo, and strongly consider it with the Prestige Lounge access.

I have visited Las Vegas many times and have participated in several loyalty programs through the years. Grazie at the Venetian is the best. They always have room comps, with beautiful rooms that are a suite. no parking fees, easy to use points for resort comps and never a hassle. We do not get the Resort amenities, but can sign up for wifi at a charge far less that the Resort Amenities Fee. The self parking elevator comes right out at the entrance to the room elevators - which we love as older folks lugging our own bags. If you visit Las Vegas several times, you will want to sigh up for the Grazie Loyalty program!

I had such a fabulous visit to this hotel. For reference, I was going to stay at the Flamingo but decided on this property instead.

COVID related: Hotel was exceptionally clean. Each room had a bag with masks, sanitizer, sanitizer wipes, and gloves. They had checkpoints set up to check temperatures without stopping/interfering with moving about the hotel. Staff was very quick to clean any machines, escalator rails, front desk, etc. Face masks are required and you will be reminded of this if you are not following the guidelines. This property is doing it right!

Room: I was in a luxury king suite. Extremely large room facing the mountains which is exactly what I wanted (hello sunrise). Bathroom featured a large bathtub, separate shower, TV, 2 sinks, separate toilet area, and makeup area. Room had the most comfortable king bed and TV! Separate living area had a couch, table with chairs, TV, and in room mini bar (pricey! but expected). You will not be disappointed with this room! The A/C worked amazingly well!

Hotel: Easy to find the elevators and rooms as everything is marked to assist you. You do have to scan your room key to enter the elevators which made me feel safe as I was traveling alone. Great location on the strip with easy access to many different areas of interest. Contactless checkout at the podiums.

STAFF: Literally the best part of my stay. Every staff member I encountered epitomized what hotel staff should be from front desk, housekeeping, and valet. Always willing to assist. Engaged. Friendly.

This may become my hotel of choice in Vegas.

We stayed 2 nights at Encore / Wynn which we got cheap thru Snaptravel but could not afford a third night at a full price so booked Palazzo thru Hotwire. Encore / Wynn are ahead of all other hotels from COVID safety prospective. I was hoping to see same at Palazzo, I was wrong.

While Palazzo has tons of hand sanitizer stations, body heat measuring machines at the main entries, even hand wash stands on the casino floor, they failed with guest rooms elevator access.

Elevators are really old and slow hence create a bottleneck. People are asked to ride in groups of four. Form three lines - one people coming down, two - people coming up for power and upper flours. Those three lines of people are jammed tight thru the tiny space, forget any distancing.

The number of people is well above any safety limits.

Dear Elena_SF779, Thank you for your recent stay and taking the time to share your experience with us. I am disappointed to learn of your unpleasant experience. The health and safety of our Team Members, our guests, and our community is our top priority. Guests and Team Members are required to practice physical distancing by standing at least six feet away from others while standing in queues, using elevators or moving around the resort. Signs are placed in elevator lobbies to remind guests of the suggested limit of four guests per elevator. Primary elevator lobbies are staffed during peak hours to provide assistance and additional sanitization, such as wiping of buttons. Please know I have shared your experience with our leadership teams and we are committed to preventing this from happening in the future. Your continued patronage is very important to us, and we hope you will give us the opportunity to restore your confidence very soon. Kind Regards, Eunice Guest Relations

There is no such thing as hospitality at this hotel. We felt like second class citizens. Check in was a disaster, they never let us know that our room was ready. We sat around waiting for that notification for hours. No apology either. Had booked in advance and made reasonable requests to be in a location close to other couples we were traveling with and for a early check in for $75. Neither request was honored. Had multiple problems with the room keys and we were met with rudeness from the all staff at the front desk. There are too many other options for a nice stay in Las Vegas. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere they will appreciate the business.

Extremely spacious suites, very clean, well decorated with separate living/sleeping areas. Non smoking room was truly smoke free, and the connected canal shops and restaurants were a smoke free experience as well. Free parking in the garage made it easy to leave the car and walk, as Palazzo is centrally located on the strip. Friendly staff at check in. Pool looked great, but cold outside so we didn't use it.

With all the concern about the coronavirus in today's news I thought twice about traveling to such a heavily visited location such as Las Vegas. Having said that and having stayed at The Palazzo before I was very confident that the facility would be doing everything possible to ensure their guests would be as safe and comfortable as possible. Upon arrival we were impressed with the efforts that were being made to keep the hotel and casino ready for all visitors and guests. We plan on returning within the next month- most definitely and will most likely bring family with us. We love this place.

As mentioned, our room was not checked and were missing toiletries. The worst part was when we were getting ready to sleep and our daughter was setting up the pullout bed we found dirt/debris that looks like yellow rice pellet and insects between the sheets. We were grossed out and shocked how moth like looking insect got in...and goes to show it was no inspected or cleaned POST COVID. We immediately called the FD and was given a cold shoulder stating to either move rooms or change the sheets. This was after 12am, and we were exhausted...we are not about to move in our pajama's and drag our belongings. WE opted for new sheets but we were not comfortable having our daughter sleep near the sofa bed. It took 30-45 mins of wait until HK Team changed the sheets and in spanish (thinking we didn't understand, we are of asian decent) that "they were embarrassed and sorry that this room was not up to standard). We so disappointed with choosing to stay in this property, we chose Palazzo as they seemed to have the best COVID protocol as stated in their website, but we were fooled. We had someone call us to follow mid afternoon the next day and offered an insulting 1 day free resort fee. Our experience was ruined and this was a time off that we needed away from being essential workers.

This was my third time staying at Palazzo this stay I left me feeling some kind of way.
The good the hotel is nice clean spacious rooms.
lots of restaurants Pricey.
This visit I just felt it was all about money 45 dollar plus taxes resort fee which totals about 51 dollars per day they say to use the pool and gym etc. your charge this fee even if you do not use these amenities.

The checkin person ask several times did I want to upgrade my room for 50 to hundred dollars a night to be on a higher floor I must of said No Thank you 3 or more times.

My room came with a free contential Breakfasts
for two. To get the Bkfst you had to stand in a line and the server hands you a shopping bag with a box inside that looks like a kids lunchable. The box consisted of a one bite size bagel a boil egg two mini slices of bread peanut butter packet and handful of grapes. Just not what you expect from a luxury hotel with 4 stars.
Don’t order tea via room service it will cost you
14 dollars for a pot of hot water and a packet of tea
also there a delivery fee to order room service.

Just felt like the Palazzo has become all about fees.

Lovely looking hotel with large rooms, but a few issues are evident.

1) upon arrival at around 15.15 was asked if I wanted to upgrade to a room with strip view for $50 per night, I politely declined and was then told my room was not ready. After a 15 hour, multiple flight trip from Scotland, this was the last thing my wife and I wanted to hear. Nothing offered in way of apology

2j Informed of resort fees $51 per night, apparently covers car parking, internet, wi-if, pools and gym. Didn’t need parking, no car, wi-fi available anyway for anyone entering building, most pools shut. No negotiation on resort fees. Booked holiday with British Airways which did mention resort fees but then stated all taxes and fees are included in price

3) room was spacious but smelled. My wife and I have broke out in skin rashes into 2nd day of stay which got worse as stay went on. Linen changed once during 6 night stay on last night when we came to room at 21:00 to pack and housekeeping were in our room.

4) on leaving day we waited for 90 minutes for airport shuttle from 14:45 until 16:15. It didn’t show up despite it supposed to be every 30 minutes. Ended up getting a taxi.

5) was never once asked how my stay was or shown any customer service during my stay. Checked in, occupied room for 6 days, checked out. Even upon checking out I wasn’t asked how my stay was, if I needed a taxi to airport, nothing.

Visit to Vegas was fantastic but someone needs to do something about these “resort fees”. I for one will be voting with my wallet and avoiding hotels that charge them to keep advertised room rates lower.

Nothing special and wasn’t made to feel welcome. Can’t prove skin problems were related to hotel but is a massive coincidence that two healthy adults sharing same bed, at the same time, had problems.

You do not need to pay to lounge by the pools. You need only to show your room key and provide your name and room number. The cabanas are available to rent and usually it’s a good idea to reserve.
