So, this used to be Barnett coast hotel…Caesar’s bought and put lipstick on. Low ceilings in casino and not too many guests…which can also be good if you looking for privacy! Biggest issue is room noise (North facing) from 24hr flights. I stayed on a busy day, so expect not many rooms left….but when i complained to front desk that me/family would have trouble sleeping bc of Tram (I originally thought that was source of noise every 5-6 min), she first looked at me like I was lying then said no other rooms avail without looking. I had an early am flight, so I was only at hotel 13hrs…but flights were wall night long. And what it appears to be is all North facing rooms and those especially under the overhang as a theatre effect.

I went on a large trip with 12 people and the Cromwell was perfect! Tramy and her team took great care of us. The location is excellent right on the strip, nice rooms, friendly staff. 10/10, will be staying here again and would recommend it!

My son and I arrived at 1am on Sunday morning. Valet parked and went to check in. The front desk staff were rude and condescending. Completely unhelpful to the point that I wanted to leave and stay elsewhere but they had my credit card and would have charged me for multiple days. After 10 minutes of taunting my son and I they refused to give us room keys. The reason for the “problem “: My wife had made the reservation and “she needed to be present “ well she was 2000 miles away and asleep. Against the advice of the front desk jerks I called guest services and the reservation was updated and we had our room in about 5 minutes.

Dear Guest, We appreciate you choosing our resort for your recent stay and thankful for your feedback. First, some basic but important info. All of the rooms are provided with Keurig coffee makers -- but pods cost of $22.00 plus tax per pack. No personal refrigerators provided except by request at a daily charge of $25.00 plus tax. The pool is closed for the season. There is a resort fee (waived for Diamond or higher Rewards Members) and, if you have a car, a fee for valet or self-parking (again, waived if you have Diamond or higher status). All of these fees are in addition to the basic room charges. The hotel was converted from the Barbary Coast. The soundproofing is very bad so if your room faces Flamingo Road, it can be very noise through thin windows. In addition I found the room to be extremely dark; very happy I brought additional lighting in my suitcase. The self-park garage is also very dark on the first level and little room for parking so we 'walked defensively" to our car after dark careful to get out of the way of cars searching for parking spaces. I am surprised Cromwell gets away with charging more than similar properties (Flamingo, Harrah's) which seem very comparable to me and, last I checked, all desperately in need of refurbishing. The location is central to "the action" which is its most positive attribute. If you must stay here and don't want constant noise, I suggest you request a room facing the Flamingo Casino, not Flamingo Road.

Looked good on the website and saw some (older?) reviews that were rather positive, but this hotel is worn out. If I squint my eyes the room looks like the photos on the website but don’t look any closer than that. This property is getting beat up and the property managers don’t seem to be worrying about it too much. IMO, Ceasars (the owner) is just biding their time until they can tear down this whole block - which they own. Ceasars bought the old Barbary Coast hotel and redecorated (lipstick on a pig) but seems to me they’re doing the bare minimum to keep it going. Will not stay here again and cannot recommend it. The advertising that this is a “boutique hotel” is a joke. I’m giving it two stars as the two maintenance items that I requested were addressed rather promptly (especially the clogged bathroom sink that didn’t drain overnight).

I should have known by looking at the pictures, but they have most definitely never updated these rooms. They are the exact same as they were when this was the Barbary Coast. No changes. At all. Oh, except for the prices, since it is a Caesar's property now. Well at least it's not the Rio or the Flamingo, it was an average stay, not worth it if you have to pay for it for sure. You would expect more now for what they expect of you.

Dear Guest, I am very sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your stay at our resort, especially given your familiarity with our Caesars Entertainment properties in other locations across the country. You are absolutely right to have expected much more from a stay at The Cromwell Las Vegas, and we apologize for missing an opportunity to improve your visit by making some adjustments to your reservation. As an AAA Four Diamond property, we strive to ensure every aspect of our guest’s stay is exceptional with service at the top of the list, and in this case, we fell short, so please accept my sincere apologies. I would like to hear more details from you regarding your recent visit with us in Las Vegas and ask you to please write to me at Loberbroeckling@caesars.com. Your satisfaction is top priority for us, and I hope to have the opportunity to learn more information about what happened and to discuss the possibility of making things right with you soon. Thank you for taking a moment to share your important feedback with us in a review, and I look forward to being in direct contact with you shortly. Warm regards, Laci Oberbroeckling Hotel Manager

Awesome bed, with a not so clean room. I kind of expected a little better given the hotels claim of being a upscale boutique location. One food option, Giada’s, very nice but expensive. A Starbucks with their food options (not good). My main issue is the room cleanliness, dirty floors, furniture is pretty beat, upholstery is dirty. Gaming is ok just limited. Parking garage is dimly lit and beyond nasty. On a positive note your on the center strip and can walk to better food options. 3 more days to go!
