It was spontaneous hotel reservation, as we planned just to visit Las Vegas for a day trip. But it was absolutely outstanding decision to stay at this hotel, on reception we were met by highly professional receptionist Gavin who provided luxurious service level. This is my second time in Las Vegas with stay in different hotel as well, but this stay was like 5+ star luxury hotel because of Gavin. “Paying attention to details is always key” - this is about Gavin. After some tours we were tired, and when we just came to reception - from the first second Gavin offer to us bottles of water, during check-in process Gavin offered an upgrade for our room making our stay unforgettable. Location of the hotel is perfect as well!

Great time staying at The Cromwell. Had good fortune in the casino which always helps. Angelina took great care of us at Interlude inside the casino. Would encourage trying to stay on the middle or lower floors as Drai bleeds through at night if you're towards the top of the hotel.

This place is just horrible! The rooms are soooooo dark and un inviting, they also smell stale. There really is nothing attractive about it. I understand the vibe of a “ boudoir” that they were going for, but it’s just now gross! Including the “romance” kit they leave in the dresser. I was here for a convention at Caesars forum. I didn’t sleep cause all I could hear 24/7 was the bass of music. I am going home and sleeping for a week! Do yourself a favor and skip this place, there are so many other much better places to stay!

Despite spending 30-100 nights/year in hotels for the last 20 years, I've never felt the need to leave a negative review. However, the customer service at the Cromwell was bad enough that I did. My actual complaint is that the room provided smelt like a can of axe body spray exploded in it. I'm sure it wasn't exactly that, but it was an extremely stinky room. In addition, the door was out of alignment and very difficult to get shut. I was in the room for two minutes. I came down and asked for a different room (this is only the second time in my life that I've asked for this). They absolutely refused to move me. It was 6 o'clock on Sunday, so it wasn't the last room they had. The front desk manager wanted to run some sort of machine in the room. She couldn't describe to me what the machine was except that they use it to remove smoke smells. In retrospect, I suspect that it was an ozone generator. Using an ozone generator in an occupied unventilated room is definitely unsafe. I had to book another hotel. They refused any refund. There were some additional minor issues, but not worth mentioning. I still might not left a negative review, if the front desk staff had been in any way helpful or even friendly; instead they were downright rude. I've stayed at all the other Caesars properties (except NOBU) and they have always been fine. PS The bellhops and casino staff were great.

I should note that I frequently stay at the Four Seasons or Waldorf Astoria, Sometimes Nobu at Caesar’s, so these are my reference points. The Cromwell is not these, by a margin, but still, its location is excellent, for example, to see Absinthe. That said, got a parlor suite, nice tub, but dated fixtures, TV casting nice when finally got it to work. Not enough plugs, lights were burned out, no batteries in bathroom scale, the internet is restricted, and awful. We could not get the previous guest disconnected even with engineering help. The management said this was ongoing problem, too bad when they actually tell you this. The room was 858. I presume top floor. One of the better rooms about $500 per night. No room service that I could discern, front desk is neutral, quickly overwhelmed by guests checking in and out. Valet only on weekends, this is not good, had to self park part of my stay. Advertised no pool per se., gambling is difficult because casino gets noisy, a $15 craps table is a plus, which in part drew me here, but it is only one table, so fills quickly. Giada is a gem, great food, it is a nice plus. I might go to this restaurant without staying at Cromwell. Ceiling shower small plus. Will I return, no. Why? Room problems, internet issues, iffy valet parking and lack of responsiveness to these will keep me away just to name a few. Back to 4 seasons for me, you get what you pay for in this town.

Beds are hard. Paint is peeling on the bathroom fixtures. Elevators broke for most of the week. I stay a lot of Caesar’s properties and this one might be the worst for the money. The place is in serious need of a refresh. Valet closed most of the week. The only thing going for it is how convenient it is to park and get out on the strip. Giada is overpriced. Dealers are surly.

So I decided to take Caesars up on a three night free room offer and check out the CromwellAs a long time Las Vegas visitor. I certainly knew of the Cromwell and I know about Drai’s and I know the location is good. I have to save my overall trip was disappointing. The room is very small, the bed has a very thin sheet on it really no covers at all, extremely dark, especially if you’re unfortunate enough to get a room that faces to the north where there is no sun coming in at all. You have to pay for parking each day is $20 regardless if you’re a guest or if you have a Nevada ID. You have to be platinum level or higher to get free parking, and with the way Caesars points are allocated. That’s almost impossible. You need 5000 points to be platinum with Caesars, I played for two days and spent well over $2000 not including money. I put back into the machine with winnings and played table games for hours on end and ended up with not even 1000 points. I always told myself never will I stay at a Caesars property, after what Gary Loveman did to the company. But I went against my basic intuition and excepted this offer. It was not a “free room“. They still make you pay the resort fee and taxes each night. The machines at the Cromwell are tight as a drum, no one was winning any jackpots that I could see no one There were friendly enough, but I just did not get a good vibe at the Cromwell. When I get free offers at the Venetian, for example, I get a free room. There is no resort fees added it’s totally free. I will not be venturing over to any Caesars property anytime soon going forward.

We stayed a few nights at the Cromwell on the tail end of a business trip that turned into a girls getaway. I booked the room through the Caesars website. Although they offered me a resort credit, the fact that my room wasn’t ready and when it was, it was not the strip view room I booked, made for an unpleasant check in process. Once we finally got to our room, we we’re not only disappointed by the fact it wasn’t a strip view, but also that it was quite filthy. It is understood that it is an older building, and not quite as large as other hotels and resorts on the strip, but they can do better. The room is pretty dark, but goes with the theme. The room was worn and tattered. The corners, bed frame, bathroom, closet, etc all had areas where there was hair and little dirty particles that are very obvious, even in the darkness of the room. The overall feel was just unclean. I did have an excellent meal, with a gorgeous view at Giada & one of the best cosmopolitans at their lobby bar. I don’t think we will be staying here again.

The rooms were super dirty and not at all as advertised. However, We did have a great experience with the front desk. they were friendly and helped us get out of our reservation, but overall not pleased with the rooms especially for the price. It did not seem like a 4 star hotel.

Got a good rate online. Upon check-in we were offered a suite for $80/night extra, which we took. The suite was pretty nice although there was no full-length mirror. The hotel has been renovated, but needs an update and a major cleaning. We had a golf ball size of pubic hair in the shower. Absolutely disgusting. The casino was fine, but drinks at the tables were hard to come by. After the pubic hair, I don't think I would stay here again.
