I have stayed at Red Rock Casino over the years many times. I quite appreciate its proximity to Red Rocks and have always enjoyed my stay. This last stay was hell. I was charged for an upgrade on a room for two nights in which I didn't stay in the room. Instead of dealing with a billing agent, I am having to deal directly with the front desk clerk who is unwavering in his charge of $678. I would highly recommend against staying at this resort.

I have been staying, and gambling, and going to casinos and bars in Las Vegas for 30 years and never have I ever experienced a more rude, self centered, disrespectful and inattentive bartender in my life. I thought it was just me, until I asked the people sitting on either side of me, who both had terrible service and felt very disrespected by her. Even the security apologized to me for her extreme disrespect and lack of service even though we were spending a lot of money gambling. I have frequented Red Rocks many times over the years, but after this experience of disrespect and the worst service I have ever experienced in Las Vegas and Camille calling me trash and telling another customer that she was trying to get rid of the “trash” in the bar, which I have never ever been called in my 40 years of life and all I asked her for was a water, I can assure you that I will never step foot n Red Rocks Casino or Resort again.

Family of four in November. We chose Red Rock for Kids Quest. Pros: Kids Quest Bell Stand Lucky Penny for Breakfast Fat Burger City Lights View Room Pros: Bell Hop, Lucky Penny, Kids Quest,Fat Burger Person who brought fridge Person who brought corkscrew USB charging outlets in room Do Not Disturb/Service Please housekeeping lights Beautiful marble bathrooms High pressure and hot water Individual bed reading lights Cons: Valet - tried three times on two diff days to call down for car and it went to voicemail. Never saw a phone when I was down there but there were always valets around. Pool- 99% of the pool closed for season. They have two small adjacent rectangle pools open, one that is heated, each can hold maybe 5-8 people before it would be crowded. The heated one wasn’t heated our first day there. Had to come back next day. Most of what little seating is available is in the shade until a few hours before the pool closes at 4. TV - The TV in the room does not allow streaming services so you are forced to watch regular cable style TV or buy movies. One the third day the TV stopped working. I had to unplug it and plug it back in to reboot software so it would work.TV does not articulate. If you have a Firestick…good luck, it was a tight fit just unplugging the TV. Toilet - the handle would not reset so the water would run constantly unless you manually adjusted the handle to make it stop. Refrigerator - Fully stocked and electronically monitored so there’s no usable fridge. You can request one and they may or may not charge you for it depending on what it’s for (for kids food, no charge). TP - Family of four and only one spare roll of TP. Soap - Only one bar. AC - Never worked. The fan would run but no cold air. Only savior was that it’s winter so the room stayed cool naturally except during the afternoon when it was a bit too warm and some AC for an hour or two would have been nice. Blanket/Pillow - No spare blanket or pillow in the closet. Corkscrew - would not give us a corkscrew at the front desk. Had to send it to the room. When he got there, he was told to bring a bottle opener, not a corkscrew, but he said luckily he had one on him. Masks - absolutely militant about masks for the 20 seconds you're walking through the lobby. The doorman, someone that sets the tone for your visit and shows first contact hospitality is now tasked with badgering guests as soon as they walk in the door until they comply. Horrible first impression. So, in a nutshell, we will likely stay somewhere else on our next trip and use one of the Kids Quests here or at one of the other hotels in the area.

It's been several years since we last stayed @ Red Rock, so while in town, we made the trek out to Summerlin for one night, glad we did. This time we had a regular king room, but still very nice. The mini-bar/refrigerator was "missing" but after checking it's now by request. Overall everything seemed in good shape and service was fine. We played in the casino a fair bit and had a few nice hits including a nice one in the High Limit slot area. We tried T-Bones chophouse this time, it was great. See separate review.

Real quick. Christopher Mitchell needs to banned for solicitation and scamming at Red Rock and other local casinos in the area. I don’t care about roulette and blackjack tactics that do not work. I’m trying to have a drink with my cousin and this strung out guy is desperately pushing his strategies on myself and Ron. Please ban this man, Vegas.
