Having cancelled previous bookings due to the pandemic, I was so looking forward to being back in Las Vegas, and even more excited to be back in the best vacation destination, the Marriott Grand Chateau. This trip I was bringing friends who'd never visited my timeshare apartment, but who had listened to me trying to describe it for years. They were completely blown away by the place! From the amazing location and proximity to the Strip, marble the lobby, to the lovely late evening check in experience (thank you, Michelle)... And that was before they even saw the apartment! I'd booked a one- bed plus lock-off so that we had plenty of space to chill and relax. As ever, everything was in perfect order, clean, tidy, homely. I was super excited by the opportunity to hire a Christmas trip - it arrived at 8am the following morning and really made our Christmas holiday even more Christmassy! The following morning, I took them to see the view from the 36th Floor pool area - and again, they were stunned! During our stay I did some of the exercise classes- Pilates, which was a great way to start the day - and my friends used that awesome gym. Every person we spoke to was helpful, friendly and efficient. This truly is the best place to stay in Las Vegas and I can't wait to be back again in the summer! …
We stayed here as a family (two adults and two teenaged boys) for eight nights in a strip-view one-bedroom suite. Everyone was friendly and everything was clean. We used the kitchen and the complimentary valet parking extensively. When we needed more amenities/new towels, we just called downstairs and we they were delivered within half an hour. And the location was terrific--two-minute walk to the Miracle Mile Shops, and seven minutes to the strip itself. Every night after dinner (we made dinner every night except for the first), we either went to the rooftop pool (very quiet at night) or walked to see the Bellagio fountains (we walked to the Mirage volcano one night too to see it before the hotel is imploded for Hard Rock). This hotel is ideal for a family trip! Highlights: - location--smoke-free and a seven-minute walk to the actual strip - spacious at over 800 sq. ft. for a one-bedroom suite - fully stocked kitchen (and I mean fully stocked!) with oven/stove, full sized fridge, toaster, coffeemaker, microwave and dishwasher - complimentary valet parking was hassle-free (even when we left at 4:30 am one day for Grand Canyon National Park, the car was retrieved within minutes) - the sofa bed for my teens was the most comfortable one they've ever slept on Lowlights: - the pools (5th floor and rooftop) aren't elaborate like the ones on the strip, but this hotel isn't on the strip - no daily cleaning - the price has gone up quite a bit since we booked back in the spring…
This was my first time back in eight years. Not much appeared to change since then, however the lobby I was told was redone in white marble. They have a very posh bar and restaurant on the first floor in addition to other timeshare type things. What I liked: - The interior was well appointed, especially the master shower which had two shower heads across from each other - The valet parking was efficient - Its location is great. You are near some major casinos (Aria, Bellagio, Caesars, MGM, New York, New York). In addition, we were about a one mile walk from the T-Mobile arena and two miles from the Allegiant Stadium. What I Did Not Like: - The front desk is never efficient or effective - My initial room location was next to the elevator shaft. I asked to be moved because the master bedroom wall was between me and the elevator. Not good for a light sleeper. - The battery died on the Villa door requiring a delayed visit from security to fix it because they need two people and only had one available - The kitchen is a little tight but manageable - We were missing a few items in the kitchen such as a dish sponge and soap, which are critical. - One side of the toaster did not pop up I do recommend staying at this property.…
Great location a block off the strip just down from the Crystal Shops at Aria. the MIracle Mile Shopping is just across the street. The one bedrooms villas are wonderful, standard for Marriott Vacation Club. Within walking distance to everything on the Strip. Concierge was helpful booking shows without the processing fees.
We are owners with Marriott and booked a 1 bedroom villa. We arrived and they said we had only booked the guest suite portion. We used a ton of resort points and are very disappointed. Be careful when booking. I called owner services no one answers and said they would call back in an hour - nope. Room is nice , people at front desk were great - just out of their hands.
Amazing experience and great place to stay off the strip. Not on the strip but only a block away. The villa’s are the way to go when coming to Vegas for an extended stay. Full mini apartments with washer/dryers, full refrigerator, microwave, and stove/oven. Heated pools, larger gyms and free valet makes this place worth every dime. Marriott has a great place in the Grand and will always stay here.
This was one of the nicest hotels I ever stayed in . The rooms in our suite were sparkling clean . We had very nice beds ,so comfortable , the the sitting room /kitchen area was great . The bathrooms were large and had everything we needed . Staff were superb , so helpful . My only one issue was the noise on the vents in the bedroom at night but it could not spoil an otherwise wonderful stay .
Great location, just off the strip, so you can walk most places. Clean with good security. Staff was friendly, helpful, and worked very efficiently. For a couples getaway, this was a perfect place. You could have your Vegas experience without the casino vibe.
I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. It is 1 block off the strip and for context, across from Planet Hollywood so access to the strip is easily walkable. The valet parking is included and seamless to access with incredible staff. We had 2 suites next to each other that were well stocked with everything we needed. One of the nights there was construction on the elevators but the staff members took us up their elevators so we would not have to wait. The hotel gave us a late check-out with no extra charge and let us store our luggage there for the day as we had a late flight. We didn't access the restaurant but the cafe and coffee shop were great. I slept on the fold-out couch which was a memory foam mattress and extremely comfortable. The staff always has complimentary water to provide for guests as well. Although we went in November their pools are heated so they can be accessed at all times during the year. We were on the 35th floor and had amazing views. 100% would stay here again and will recommend to all those visiting Vegas!…
The most basic expectation for a hotel room is that a guest should come back to clean dishes, clean linens, floors and soaps/creams are replenished. Marriott Grand Chateau utterly failed at this during our vacation this time, we were staying in the 3 bedroom villa. Housekeeping did not do the basic minimum required to clean the room. Firstly, there was only one day of housekeeping available during our 3 night stay, we scheduled the cleaning in advance, with ample time provided to the housekeeping (3 hours), so they can clean our rooms. When we returned to our room in the evening, the dirty dishes were still in the sink, there was no vacuuming done (napkins on the floor), linens were not changed with hairs all over the bed, kitchen was not cleaned with stove dirty with previous cooking. Housekeeping blatantly lied on the checklist in the room with all these items checked as done. The most disappointing part of this was no soap (in the soap dispenser) in showers (2 bathrooms), when we were taking shower the next morning. The front desk did not help us much, since they don't have cleaning staff all the time. I would not recommend this location to anyone, and would think twice before returning.…
