Out past the Orleans on Tropicana next to a small strip mall ( Denny's and Starbucks ) and feeling isolated from activity is where you'll find this place. Very quiet if you request a room off Tropicana Blvd but beware of noise from other rooms. Very slow wi-fi here. This hotel does not have a resort type feel to it even though "resort" is part of its name. Disappointing stay.
The wrong rooms were booked, the Manager never got back to us about finding the correct rooms, the beds were very uncomfortable and the ice maker did not work. The lift for the pool only works if you are 8 feet tall and can touch the bottom of the pool when it is lowered into the water. No longer the quiet place it once was.
A little distant from the Strip, but worth it. Price was excellant. Rooms are all Suites, with refrigerator and micro. TV had good selection of channels. Pool was excellent. Area was clean. Room walls are thin could hear people next room, I turn off the the air conditioner fan auto and put it "on" so it runs constantly , giving me drown out noise, from neighbors. Check in was easy, price was ok. Lots of restaurants and shops to walk to. Dennys' right next door.
Currently staying here. I don’t know how this is a 4 star. This is like a very old motel. Check in was fast but the reception person did not activate our card key properly so had to go all the way back to get them redone. Only every other room has a balcony. The elevator tiles are broken and any brass railings are worn and scratched. “Mini” golf is one hole. There are no activities (most timeshares offer some type of activity). There is no library to exchange books. We had the noisiest bed I’ve ever been on. I think they have rubber mattress covers. Parking was plentiful. The pools were nice but a bit too cold. No problem getting a lounge chair. The bathroom had a nice jetted tub. I would not return to this “resort”. If you are getting a timeshare you can do much better. If you want a hotel there are so many better ones to choose from.…
At first we were upset that this was the sister property of the Tahiti Village resort. We were looking forward to the Lazy River & large pools. But after timeshare owners told us that the Tahiti Village pool was overrun with kids and people on the 4th of July, we were happy they put us over here! It is very relaxed & laid back. Also it as remodeled 2 years ago so it's clean and updated. Alex at the front desk knew we were a little upset so he immediately waived the Resort Fee!! Bravo Alex....We will be back!
