I just wanted to send a big shout out to the Las Vegas Renaissance Hotel. My daughter traveled solo this past weekend for her first HiRox competition and had an absolutely fabulous time. Specifically, I want to thank Kierra Cole. I emailed her at the front desk and asked if there was anything that she could send to her from us to congratulate her on her big accomplishment. She not only got back to me immediately, she was so kind and thoughtful! She arranged to have a sweet treat brought to her, wrote a congratulatory note and made sure that her room was ready and nice for the trip. It just made me feel so much more comfortable with her solo travel. My daughter had an absolutely wonderful time at the hotel, loved the gym and cannot wait to be back. Thank you again to Kierra❤️

The hotel is located a 5-minute drive from Las Vegas International Airport and has easy access to one of the monorail stations that can take you to the Strip in just 10 minutes. If you prefer to walk, you will need 30 minutes. The hotel welcomes you with an efficient and friendly check-in and offers you free coupons for some drinks and tasty cakes. Unfortunately, the main restaurant was closed for renovations, and the local brasserie was somewhat overwhelmed at peak hours. My room was spacious and bright, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom and the entire room were cleaned daily, towels changed and toiletries replenished. A small minus - not all the elevators were functional and they arrived quite rarely. The pool is quite small and somewhat hidden from the sunlight, but used quite little by customers.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
The location was great for access to the monorail, there was ample parking and the process of parking was easy. The check-in staff was attentive, kind and very helpful. The room was very spacious, updated, and clean. The room next door had their music or tv on so loud that I could not hear my tv and it was very disturbing. I called the operator and someone came up to ask them to turn it down. Luckily they were polite enough and turned it down. However, the walls are so thin that I could hear them laughing and talking at times. Kudos to the hotel for taking care of the situation but bummer the walls were so thin. The elevators were horrible!! They were slow to get to you to the point that if you saw one open you got on even if it was going the wrong direction that you wanted to go. Then we got on the elevator on the 11th floor and it jolted between floors 10 & 9 which was very scary. It stopped between the floors and the doors started trying to open but they wouldn't. Then it dropped again, presumably to the 9th floor because it stopped, the button lights went out and the doors flew open. This made me very nervous to get back on another elevator. Lastly, the ice machines would not dispense ice. I tried the 11th, 12th, and 14th floor machines and it would make noise but nothing would come out. After calling the operator they said they would have someone bring us ice. It was over an hour when we got a couple cups full of ice. The check out process was super easy as we could do it through the tv and just go down to the car. It was also nice to have the option to watch our Netflix on the tv even if it was a bit slow.

Looks like a very good hotel at first glance but: 1) the rooms are very noisy. 2) the beds are high (box spring) but of poor quality 3) Room service? Not seen 4) There is possibility to do your laundry but you first need to have a handful of coins and then come to the conclusion that you have to buy the washing powder at the reception. 5) shower was not clean when we got into the room.
Too bad because you expect something more in Las Vegas

Nice property - some of the worst service I have experienced and Marriott properties worldwide.
This property is located centrally to LVCC and is reasonably renovated. Pre arrival service was very attentive with special requests being followed up on.
Unfortunately things fell apart on arrival at the hotel. Myself and a colleague, Platinum and Titanium elite member respectively were kept waiting until 7pm for one of our rooms with a 3pm check in time. We were told by the front desk that a housekeeping crew were in the room, went to investigate to find this was a total lie. When the room was finally available, the air conditioning was faulty and maintenance were unable to fix. Upon complaining front desk member Anna was only able to “offer” waiving an early check out fee and suggested we should leave.
Front desk manager Miles Davis was apologetic the following day, offering points and waived UPS fees for the poor experience and accepting feedback. However none of this was honoured upon checkout and attempting to extract the service recovery from this hotel has made a bad experience even worse. I have been kept on hold by the offshore call centre who answer the phones inside and outside of the hotel and have been forced to pursue management of the hotel through other communications avenues to simply receive the compensatory action that was agreed and offered. To date my colleague is still out of pocket despite many promises of action that are simply not followed up on.
I expect this hotel would have been fine if everything had gone to plan - but if you need any assistance from hotel management you will be treated with contempt, gaslit and left out of pocket - even as a Marriott loyalist.

Dear wsces, Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback regarding your recent stay at the Renaissance Las Vegas. I want to express my sincerest apologies for the numerous issues you and your colleague experienced during your time with us. Your experience falls far short of the service standards we aim to uphold, and I deeply regret the frustration and inconvenience you faced. While I’m pleased to hear that your pre-arrival experience was attentive, I am incredibly sorry that the service during your stay did not reflect the same level of care. Having to wait until 7 PM for your room, especially as a valued Platinum and Titanium Elite member, is completely unacceptable. I’m also troubled to hear about the misleading information you were given regarding the status of your room and the unresolved issue with the air conditioning. This is not the experience we want for any of our guests, especially our most loyal ones. I’m also very concerned about the breakdown in communication and the failure to honor the compensation that was offered to you by our front desk manager. Please know that this does not reflect the integrity we strive for, and I am deeply sorry that you had to endure such a frustrating and drawn-out process to seek resolution. We value your loyalty to Marriott, and I sincerely hope you will give us another opportunity to regain your trust in the future. If there is anything else I can do to assist you, please feel free to reach out to me directly. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention.

My first time staying at they Renaissance and the entire staff from the pool attendant to the front desk staff and especially the New Restaurant Zio’s General Manager went well above my expectations and really showed what hospitality should look and feel like.
The Resort ( as it never felt like a hotel ) was well kept and clean throughout and I had the opportunity to have breakfast and lunch at Zio’s and compliments to Danielle amazing server and the Chef and of course as mentioned before the General manager of the restaurant Xavier Najar ( whom I got to meet on a different occasion earlier in my visit , before the last day and Breakfast where he made sure to come by and say hello ) as it was a culinary experience both times I dined there.
My room was fantastic and the bed was super comfortable and the space for the one king room was plenty and the Bathrrom was spacious and super clean and had all the important amenities.
Now as I mentioned earlier I met Xavier earlier as I had seen that one of the free amenities The Renaissance was offering for the first time was a custom cross fit training session in there well equipped 24 hr Gym on Sundays at 9am
So of course I signed up and to my surprise I met this very fit and enthusiastic trainer (aka Xavier ) and he had lots of healthy snacks ready including cold pressed green juice , bananas, protein bars all complimentary and then he introduced himself as the General Manager of Zio’s and this was an idea he had and was trying it out. Well let me tell you , one of the best workouts I have had in all my travels.
This visit and experience was one that I will always remember and I will always be staying here when I visit Las Vegas.
PS- the location was exactly what you want walking to the Convention center and the Monorail station.
And a quick 6 min Uber ride from any Strip resort.

"Delighted to serve" is what they say next to the special guest services button on the phone. When you call, they even answer that way. And then, that's where it ends. The button needs a rewrite.
Perhaps "Delighted to apologize" is more fitting because that is pretty much the experience here. They have mastered the art of apology but need a remedial education on some basics like, oh I don't know, what is involved in cleaning the room . . . like maybe doing it daily as expected, and then, on the off chance they forgot and required a reminder from the guest (that would be me), that when they in fact cleaned the room they did the basics well. The basics include emptying the trash, actually making the bed and perhaps removing towels from the bathroom.
In case it is a question of did I bring this to their attention, the answer is unequivocally a 'yes'. I even felt compelled to ask for the hotel manager who I was promised would follow up. (Never happened in case it's not clear.)
This hotel has "Renaissance" in its name but clearly has fundamental shortcomings in how to clean a room. For my experience, I would say it was overpriced and definitely a departure from the elevated standards one would expect at a hotel that charges premium prices. I don't like to pay more for apologies. Is that weird?

My stay at the Renaissance was amazing and comfortable as usual whenever I’m here for work. I particularly LOVE the new shampoo/conditioner/body wash! Great upgrade!!
But, I really wanted to take a moment to review Zio’s - the new Italian restaurant inside the hotel. Buckle in because I have a lot to say:
The reconstruction of the entire restaurant is so vibrant and intimate and stunning! I was so pleasantly surprised with how it all looked and felt that I decided to not take my food up to my room, but dine at a table instead.
Joshua, my server, was nothing short of extraordinary, and truly transformed my dining experience into something unforgettable. From the moment I was greeted, he radiated warmth and enthusiasm, making me feel like I was VIP. His knowledge of the menu was unparalleled, guiding me through the dishes with such genuine passion that it felt less like a suggestion and more like a personal recommendation from a trusted friend. Every detail was carefully attended to—my drink was topped off without me noticing, plates arrived at just the right moment, and every need was anticipated before I even had to ask. But it wasn’t just the impeccable timing or the flawless execution—it was the energy and care he brought to the table. You could tell he was truly invested in creating an exceptional experience for me, and his thoughtful, attentive service made the evening feel like a celebration rather than just a hot meal away from home. It’s rare to encounter service this outstanding, and it left me not just satisfied, but truly impressed. I also work in the service industry, and he completely inspired me to give this level of service and care to people as well.
Chef Garcia has absolutely redefined what a steak dinner should be. From the first bite to the last, this was not just a meal—it was an experience. The steak, cooked to absolute perfection, was a masterpiece of flavor and tenderness. Every cut melted in my mouth, with a sear that was both crisp and rich, locking in all the savory juices. It was clear that Chef Garcia has honed his craft with precision, using only the finest cuts and a technique that takes culinary art to another level.
And let’s talk about those Brussels sprouts. Often overlooked or poorly executed, Chef Garcia’s version was nothing short of magical. They were roasted to crispy perfection on the outside, yet tender on the inside. The seasoning was bold but balanced, elevating the natural flavor without overpowering it. Paired with the steak, the sprouts weren’t just a side dish—they were an essential component of the meal, offering the perfect contrast in texture and taste.
The entire dish was a testament to Chef Garcia’s remarkable skill and his ability to elevate simple ingredients into something extraordinary. Every bite was a symphony of flavors that left me not just full, but truly satisfied. This wasn’t just a dinner—it was an unforgettable culinary experience that left me eagerly anticipating my next visit.

Excellent hotel close to the sphere and convention center. The check-in process was smooth, the on site parking was easy to navigate and they had plenty of parking spots. The beds were soft and the lounge was nice. Location was great and within a 7 minute walk of the convention center if you are in town for a convention. They have a great steakhouse on site as well.

The Renaissance Vegas hotel we stayed at was a complete disappointment. To begin with, the hotel's location was far from everything and not worth the hassle of getting there. Moreover, we found the value for money to be extremely poor. The fact that self-parking wasn't free was a major inconvenience, especially since the hotel wasn't even on the strip. Despite our room being upgraded, the walls were incredibly thin, and we were disturbed by our neighbors, who also complained about us. To make matters worse, despite calling the front desk, housekeeping never arrived. The resort fee of $30 was a complete waste as the only thing we used was Wi-Fi, and the treats they provided were of no use to us since we don't drink. We asked for a refund on the resort fee, but the hotel's representative, Giancarlo, declined our request, even though we pointed out the lack of housekeeping and thin walls. Lastly, the pool was tiny, and we believe there are far better options available at this price point. We highly recommend staying at our favorites, Encore, Wynn, and Cosmo to name a few.

You can Google map the distance from hotel to where you want to go yourself, based on mode of transportation and traffic. It will vary, but an Uber to the strip was like 10 minutes. The strip is not walking distance. There is a "train" that is across the parking lot from hotel that you can take and stops at certain places on the strip.
