This was my first time staying at The LINQ, and based on other reviews I was concerned. However, we were pleased with our stay. The property size is perfect, it's close to everything, all the staff I dealt with were great, the room was a good size and clean (just wish we had a fridge), and the food/restaurants on property were awesome. To top it all off, the cost per night versus other properties in the area was at a fraction. I am already planning my next trip to Vegas and this property is top of my list. Thanks LINQ for a memorable stay.
Booked this because was las vegas strip because friend had never visited. Bathroom power blew out that night which they fixed once i informed them of it. Water pressure is like a light shower with no pressure behind it.expected better for being on strip. Not trying to be bitchy but was in 4 star hotel the night before in san diego and blows away this hotel.
This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Check in was impersonal, had to use a kiosk. The sheets are dirty and the clean ones are rough. The bathroom door slides and doesn’t close all the way. Air conditioner doesn’t work. And we paid almost $300 a night for this room. Checking out tomorrow and finding a new hotel. This place is a dump.
When we checked in, they said they had no non smoking rooms for our 5 night stay, and we can change the next day for a non smoking room. Lo and behold, as we approached our room door, it was left open by the lock hinge, and there were alcohol bottles and food containers on the table. And the pillows were in a vertical position from whoever was occupying the room. We complained and got a non smoking room, but that experience left a bad taste in our mouth about the safety and cleanliness of the rooms
3rd time at this hotel and it was the worst experiences Booked 2 double beds with non smoking room 6 months ahead and also booked direct via Caesars rewards. PAID FULL BEFORE CHECK IN and thought Best guarantee site as I booked direct via hotel website. Nah, You are wrong. Checked in at 1.00 AM Kiosk machine did not allow us so we had to be inline for 25 minute. To find out they sold our room type for walk in guests Yes hotel probably make more money for walk in as it was Saturday night ( NFL game the next day) Sum it up, they showed me they only had 3 rooms left and all are smoking room with king bed option. If i don't take it they will refund the money and we had to go find the other hotel at 1.00 am in the morning. We had no choice just to take it and promised to give $50 food credit and switch the room the next late morning . My family of 4 had to sleep with mask on. 3 in a bed & one on the couch. We are non smoker! Imagine how awful it was. The useless staff names Ricki (she) could not do anything. The managers hid themselves in the office right beside the front desk. He or She afraid to face up with the guests. Ricki the front desk said although I booked direct with hotel doesn't mean guarantee the room. I was stunt by her answer. I chose the room type and pay extra more. What the point for options and different price categories then? I told her I paid full amount 48 hrs before checked in. That did not mean anything to you guys? . She strongly argued back No it meant nothing. Take note management it was so ashamed on you guys. The second day we got moved to the room we booked. the room was good enough, No maid which was ok. I just changed the towels with the housekeeper every morning . When checked out i was afradi to use Kiosk check out so I went in line to check out. And what I was expecting. We only got credit for $ 20 not $50 the manager changed the amount after we left the checked in counter. PATHETIC Way to treat guests like this. Shame on you! Also added 3 nights parking on my bill. REALLY? Thanks God I did the check out with these unprofessional staff myself. I will not return to this hotel again. Crooked people , F*** up management. Cheers to the liars!…
First, I'm not a complainer and rarely write reviews but there is a limit. The rooms are super small for a double occupancy. I stayed in 10058, even if a not smoking room, it smelled like cigarettes. No fridge, no coffee machine. The air conditioning was so loud and woke us up in the middle of the nights. Stain on walls, paint peeling off everywhere in the bathroom. I stayed in many hotels in Vegas for business and this is the worst one. A real shame for a Ceasar property.
They overbook, give away your standard room (even though 1st night pre-paid) but will put you in deluxe no charge if you move the next morning - but come down early to secure it. Or don't move and pay the extra. Why bother making a reservation at all. Nothing deluxe about it. Small room, no storage, patio with locked pool access because it's January. Phone doesn't work, can't put on the heat because 1/2 an inch of dust on the vents. Shower was the best part of the room. Beds were ok too, but the staff let stair access door slam all night so can't sleep anyway.
The Linq is a decent hotel for the pricing. It’s in a great location next to lots of good, and other good area hotels in the middle of the strip. The casino was clean, but very small. The pricing for gaming was comparable to neighboring hotels. The rooms were mediocre and was a little disappointing compared to the rest of the hotel. We had a king junior suite and upgrade upon arrival to a king suite “with a view”. I should have clarified what that meant because it was not a view of the strip, but the parking garage at the back of the hotel. None of the light switches work which drove me insane and you have to manually turn on the lamps. The power went out in the bathroom a few times when using my curling iron (the only thing plugged in) and our tv remote was broken upon arrival. I probably won’t stay here again due to the room issues, but besides the lodging, the casino and amenities were good.…
So disappointing to check in to a hotel late at night and then find out the beds had not been cleaned nor had the sheets been changed! It took over 2 hours to get everything fixed and us in a new room. Many phone calls to the front desk and we still had to go down to the front desk to resolve it. They gave us a smaller room with a roof view! We started with a view of Ceasars Palace. The next day, after finally going to bed at 2:30am, we found out at the shampoo and body wash were completely empty in the shower. We informed housekeeping we needed new towels, replacements for the shampoo and body wash and then we discovered the TV didn't work either. When we came back nothing had been done or changed! So, I went to the front desk and told them "If I could switch hotels right now, I would. I'm done with all the issues, and it needs to be fixed right now". We were given a corner room with a view of the closed pool and high roller. It was bigger than the second room, but it felt like we were switching rooms the whole time on our trip! I will not be staying here again or recommending anyone stay here. No compensation for the issues or for putting a damper on our short weekend getaway!…
The hotel overbooked their non smoking standard rooms and the only open available rooms they had were smoking. They were going to put me up in a smoking room for the night and the next day have me move to a non smoking room. I told them that's unacceptable and I cannot stay in a smoking room due to health issues. The only option they had was to upgrade me and charge $45 more per night for a non smoking room. Keep in mind my reservation was set months in advanced for a standard non smoking room. The hotel would not budge with waiving the $45 per night up charge and that's even after talking with a manager as well. The manager that I spoke with tried to say overbooking happens to all the hotels in Vegas which is a bunch of BS. I have stayed at 6 other hotels in Vegas and that's never happened to me before. I was here for a business trip but personally I will NEVER go back to this hotel. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere to stay if you can.…
