Situated in the heart of the strip, The LINQ Hotel + Experience boasts a location that many find convenient for exploring nearby attractions. However, guests have called out the hotel for its additional fees, including resort charges and parking, which have lessened the overall perceived value. Room cleanliness and maintenance have received criticism from several travelers, along with an often unhelpful service team. Moreover, the noise level from AC units and the hotel's vibrant atmosphere have been noted to impede guest comfort.

The Good

Very reasonable price for a stay in Las Vegas

Great location, right on the strip – Las Vegas Boulevard

Comfortable room

The Not So Good

The resort sent multiple emails, which I did not request or respond to, giving many opportunities to upgrade my room reservation or tack on addition services at a higher cost. You will have to resist these to truly take advantage of the low nightly room rates.

Check in, even with online check in, took about 30 minutes. Doing it over again, I would not attempt to check in at 3:30 PM. Do the online check in ahead of time, and wait until 4:30 PM, or later, to pick up keys at one of the kiosks. Lines were much shorter later in the afternoon / evening.

At the price level we chose, room amenities were limited, e.g. no coffee maker, refrigerator, or microwave. You will be more likely to spend money on food and coffee.

WIFI is free, but for only two devices. If you have more than that you will need to pay $15 per day per device. I didn’t check into it, but at a higher room rate per night you might be able to use more devices without additional charge.

The casino was smoky. The room thankfully was not. Smoking is not prohibited in casinos in Nevada. The resort works to filter out tobacco smoke, but it is not easy to do. We found a competitors casino where smoke was almost undetectable, but ozone concentrations were noticeably high. That location was probably using electronic air filters turned up to a high power level, hence the ozone.

No water dispensers in the casino. If you are not into drinking tap water from your room you will be more likely to spend money on water.

Would I stay at The LINQ again? Yes. Despite things that could have been better, the price and location provide a good value.

Location is great, we had a room that had a glimpse of the High Roller Wheel (despite paying around $200 for an upgraded view of the city, this definitely was not that, so that's a bit disappointing, but after an awful day of flying we weren't in the mood to debate with the very helpful and friendly staff).

The room was fine, decent bathroom and shower; it had a safe, a fridge, a good air con system, a big TV, the beds were comfortable too. My only problem with the room was the door seemed to be a bit damaged, the bar at the top of the door would catch on the frame and sometimes stopped it automatically shutting, which we noticed by chance because one of us forgot something and had to go back down the corridor to the room, to find it open.

Staff at check-in were professional, polite and helpful.
Housekeeping were also great.
Security in the hotel were good, my mate and I are two lads in their 20s from a rough town so nothing really made us feel unsafe at any point, but for anyone who may be worried, you could feel their presence.

The Linq hotel has various areas and exits, on our first night we thought we were in a maze but once you get your bearings its fine, but the hotels there are HUGE so just get yourself familiar with where you room is before you go off getting blackout drunk.

The casino on the ground floor of the hotel is decent, we went in January and there was still quite a good buzz everywhere. Within the hotel is a tattoo studio, restaurants, coffee shops, clothing and souvenir shops.

Guy Fieri's restaurant at the Linq was great.

Going out from the hotel down Linq Promenade was great:
Tilted Kilt was a great sports bar filled with waitresses and staff who are very easy on the eye and very friendly, loads of beers to choose from and loads of TVs for the sports, great music too, and good food, the potato skins were a great snack and not a badly priced venue considering its location.
AmeriCan, just across from Tilted Kilt, was also a great bar. One week day we got some good sun and in the outdoor terrace, drinking can after can, as they specialise in canned beers; they also have beers on tap/draught and bottled, and I think it was $5 for a spirt and mixer during the day, can't complain at all at that.
Favourite Bistro just past AmeriCan was our place of choice for breakfast. Coffee, apple juice, beer and a Hangover Burger.

If you're expecting luxury then its probably not the place for you, but it was clean, safe, lively, and a good location for exploring the strip.

Overall the hotel and location were brilliant, definitely somewhere I'd return to.

I stayed at the LINQ for a week while I was at a nearby industry convention. Check-in was done entirely by kiosk. The room was nice. Beds comfy. Water pressure and hot water was good. I found the staff was very responsive. My room came with no body wash or shampoo. I called housekeeping and someone was there to refill in literally 5 minutes. The hotel is very clean. I only strolled past the pool area but it was very lively with a DJ and young people playing drinking games in the water. This hotel is in a section of several close or connected hotels that are easy to walk between there are many food and shopping choices extremely close. It is also connected to the monorail and in one stop from the Convention Center. I feel like this hotel may skew a bit young but I never had any issues with noise or rambunctious behavior. The elevators are quick. There is a Walgreens nearby if you don’t want to get raked over the coals for small stuff/soda/snacks. There are casino games in the lobby and they weren’t hard to get a seat at. I ate at a few places in the area and they were all fine. I partially chose this hotel because it was on the Monorail that could take me to the convention center. The monorail was easy to access and fine for getting around on. The Sphere is a quick walk away. The giant Ferris wheel is in the complex. The nearby Flamingo hotel has live birds in a mini sanctuary that is fun for the kids. No shortage of burger joints. I ate a different hotel every day. Also, there was a tattoo parlor in the lobby and many quick food options.

This was my first trip too vegas and my partner booked it for my 30th birthday. After a gruelling 17 hours of travelling we finally made it to the hotel, we were asked if we could use the kiosk to check in but we told the lady that we wanted to pay cash for the resort fees as we had converted majority of our money into cash and were told “this is a cashless site” and she then walked off. There was no help, no one cared and we were left with trying to figure out how to pay for the obscene amount of $700 on top of what we already paid. We knew the resort fees were $50 per night which equated to $350 but wasn’t told that the deposit was also $50 we were under the impression that it was $200. So not only at this point have we paid almost $2000 for an entire trip we had to fork out an extra $700 on top. This put a bit of a sour taste in our mouths from the start. At the kiosk it asked if we wanted to have the room cleaned (we thought it meant the next morning) as we had been travelling for 17 hours we wanted to sleep and dose for the first day so we clicked no, turns out that was too reject housekeeping altogether. You need more information and instructions on these kiosks.

The room was spotless I have to say, and we had no issue finding a housekeeper when we needed fresh towels or toilet paper so hats off to the housekeepers for actually being in plain sight for our entire trip they were great. The restaurants inside and surrounding the LINQ we didn’t even both trying as the food is so expensive, tourist trap is what it is and the shops in the complex you’ll be paying a very high price just for water, it was cheaper in the airport. The hotel it self is clean, the games were great (I have no experience in gambling other than online) so it was all great for me! The hotel is very busy but that’s not something we can complain about it’s a Bludy hotel!!

The pool. Never in my entire life have I been anywhere where you have to pay to sunbathe with an umbrella, and again it’s not cheap. We opted for the free sun beds as I’m sorry I wasn’t paying $100 to lie in the sun. $10 each for a bottle of water and $35 for a lemonade!? Absolutely extortionate and I don’t understand how you can even justify charging those prices. The pool was small but we stayed for 45 mins whilst we drunk our water as we weren’t staying there any longer and spending ridiculous money.

All in all if you have the money go for it but me and my partner would never return to the LINQ hotel. You overcharge tourists just because, there is no valid reason for it.
And if you do go don’t bother exchanging your money to dollars as pretty much everywhere (except casino and the machines) take card and only card. We struggled to book anything without having to use our card. Next time we go we’ll stay well clear of the strip and just grab an Uber instead it’ll save you so so much money. Thanks LINQ for letting me know I don’t need to come vegas ever again and if I do it won’t be with you.

Disappointed with our stay at The Linq. The rooms are dark and the air con units are extremely loud, so we often struggled to sleep. The pool area unfortunately doesn’t get sun at all in the afternoon which was a shame and a lot of the sun beds you have to pay extra to use. I wasn’t able to access the WiFi in the room the whole of our 7 day stay, which is ridiculous considering what we paid for our stay. We complained at reception and contacted the WiFi support team by phone numerous times but they were unable to fix the problem. The biggest issue was that our light broke in our bathroom. We went to complain at reception and they said somebody would come to fix it. Nobody arrived, so we ended up having to shower in the dark with just our phone lights for two days before complaining again and someone finally coming in to fix the issue. Finally, when we went to check out, in addition to the expensive resort fees (which weren’t actually mentioned at check in) we were charged for a movie rental that we never had. We tried to raise it with a member of staff but due to the lengthy check out queues we opted to just give up and pay the $9 charge. Overall we had a pretty rubbish stay, if it wasn’t for the central location then I wouldn’t have a good word to say.

King suite was a nice upgrade on a high floor so very little noise. Could use more towel hooks and clothing pegs in the bathroom, huge space but only one towel hook by the shower. Same could be said for the closet/dresser space. Not a lot of space for clothing and shoes if more than one person in the room. Those are pretty minor issues to me, hence the 5 stars. Also, ASK for more hangers!! They will give them to you asap.

We had comp room, which means that we are put into the worst room possible. Initial thought was negative we had no refrigerator, and were told we could upgrade our room for an additional $20.00 per night. Comp means paying $51.00 per night resort fees so I felt we had a little investment in the room. The exhaust fan in the bathroom hummed, no exhausting. The electric circuit in bathroom blew so we had no power, no lights. We had to call front desk to have room cleaned, asked housekeeper in the area, said she was not to clean our room. We have stayed here before, the place is degrading.

Great hotel location on the strip, also the price compared to nearby facilities is good but...
Cleanliness equal to zero, requested by message posted at the door to clean the room because for 2 days nothing, basically changed only 2 towels (to say clean) the bathroom was not even swept and the sheets were not changed, the sink and shower not washed
The vacuum cleaner on carpet never passed
I recommend it only for the location but otherwise absolutely NO

There were a lot of hidden fees that they do not advertise, such as the Resort Fee and Room Fee get taxed separately, the taxes alone ends up being another 100 or so that was not stated, would be better if they mentioned their Resort Fee does not include taxes. Location of the hotel was good, however short pool hours of it being closed by 6pm is rough. Housekeeping staff are very friendly, front desk seemed hurried and uninterested.

Stayed here for a few nights and chose this hotel due to its location and because it looked newer and more maintained in photos.

The best thing about this hotel is its location; it was great for walkability all over the strip.

While the general aesthetic and decor of the rooms is nice, the cleanliness and overall maintenance leave something to be desired. There were several large holes in the bedding, the bathroom sink would backflow and fill with a smelly ash like substance, several light bulbs in the room were burnt out, the bathroom had random hairs still stuck to the shower curtain as well as strange greasy smears one of the walls and light switches.

Staff at the front desk seem rather unfriendly and aren't willing to help. When inquiring about the availability of cabs early in the morning, we were told there wouldn't be any available outside the hotel at that time. When asked if a cab could be called for us, we were told to do it ourselves and the employee seemed inconvenienced that we then asked for a cab number to call.

The resort fee is ludicrous for what little (if any) services you actually get. $45/day essentially only gets you a spotty wifi connection in your room. You can't even go sit by the pool as a guest without having to make a paid reservation. The hotel pushes for everything to be done through kiosks so there's essentially no customer service provided. Other hotels at least offer more amenities for what they charge.

While the location is great, I would avoid staying here again given the state of the rooms and lack of customer service.
