We recently traveled to LV to see George Strait in concert. We selected the Waldorf due to it’s proximity to T-Mobile Arena…right around the corner. We are Hilton Diamond members and have stayed at many properties around the world. This hotel was hands down one of the nicer hotels we have had the pleasure of staying at.

Hotel's Favourite
This place had some issues, both Covid and non-Covid related. But overall, it was definitely a 5 star experience. The location is what makes this place for me. Right in the middle of the strip, but the hotel is hidden in a bit of a bowl. It is like being on the Strip without dealing with all the people. Nice and quiet. No casino, but very easy to get to Aria and Cosmopolitan, among others. The common areas are pretty typical of Waldorf, lots of dark wood and marble. You have to go up to the reception area from valet, separate elevators for room and hotel entrance. Always weird having to switch elevators. Nice area for afternoon tea and a bar with a legit view of the Strip. We liked the spa, but no hot tub or sauna, etc due to Covid. Pool looked nice and was pretty empty. As with the areas, the room is typical Waldorf, 5 star quality. Super comfortable bed. Good size, all the amenities. Service was very good, from reception to bar to spa. The valet was a man from NY and he was incredibly helpful with the family. For value, Waldorf ain't cheap, in either dollars or points. I think it's worth it, and I am a bit of a Hilton guy, but there are so many options in Vegas that are pretty close in quality but much lower prices that its hard to recommend. That, and I don't want anyone else ruining it.

This hotel was amazing. We came to celebrate mine and my fiancés engagement. We were given a nice bottle of Champagne and also a delicious snack upon arrival. It was perfectly located in the heart of the strip, but very quiet as there is no casino in the hotel. So you get the best of both worlds and are able to be close to everything but can escape the noise once you’ve had too much. All the staff we encountered was terrific. From the start Shaneen was extremely helpful getting everything set up. We ate breakfast with Alex (server) each morning and he was very pleasant. Our girl Tracy helped us with dinner suggestions and stuff to do, and boy did she. We ate some delicious food and saw some amazing sights because of her suggestions. Next time we are in Vegas, we will without a doubt be staying here again.

I stayed here for 3 nights over the weekend before Thanksgiving. I booked an impresario rate that had some extra benefits like a credit to the bill. Since I'm a diamond member I already received breakfast credit. Checkin was a long wait even though I was the only one in line. The process seemed very slow. When it was our turn the agent didn't realize that I had booked the impresario rate, but then found it and explained the benefits. I booked a city view room and was given a room on the 4th floor with a view of the car valet and Crystals mall. I'm not sure if this was a diamond or impresario upgrade. The room was really nice, but the modern light switch panels didn't work all the time. We used the valet closet service to have our shoes shined. I think because of the issue with the light panels our room wasn't serviced unless we asked for it by messaging through the app. Same for calling for shoe shine service. On the last full day, our room wasn't serviced until after 7pm when we were out at dinner. We used the house car to get further down the strip one time and it was in a 7 series BMW, which was really nice. The driver was super nice. We had dinner the first night at Zen Kitchen and breakfast every day. Dinner was fine, but breakfast was excellent. It's quite an expensive meal no matter what. The hotel lobby on the ground level is being renovated, so there is an alternate entrance which requires walking down a long hall past meeting rooms on the 3rd floor, which is where Zen Kitchen is located. We had massages and used the spa one afternoon and it was an amazing experience. The hot tub, sauna, steam, and sensory showers were all luxurious. I could've stayed there all day. We checked-out through the app and didn't see the bill until the next day. I had to call the hotel to get the impresario credit applied. I've never stayed at a non-casino hotel on the strip and it was a nice experience. I would not hesitate to stay here again, but I hope they fix their issues.

Although The Waldorf was being renovated, our stay was lovely. The pool and hot tub were warm and quiet. The SKYBAR and the Zen Cafe served delicious food and drink. Housekeeping was prompt and attentive. Looking forward to returning soon!

We stayed two nights at the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas while attending a basketball game at T-Mobile Arena. The lobby was under construction which made getting into the hotel a bit odd, but other than that, everything exceeded our expectations. Our room, the service we had, the interactions with the staff were all top notch. Can't wait to return the next time we come to Las Vegas for an event!

We stayed at the Waldorf for the second time while attending a conference in Vegas. The hotel is going through some renovations (the lobby is currently on the 23rd floor and they are moving it to the main level) but they are managing the changes with such dignity and grace. The hotel is centrally located on the strip but does not have its own casino. This is great as it gives you a place to escape the Vegas crowds. The rooms are lovely with a beautiful tub complete and bath salts are provided, some rooms have a view of the strip and the beds are wonderful. The room has all the features you would expect of a grand hotel - butler closet, automatic curtains, a variety of wonderful lighting options and L'Occtaine products. Elevators are fast and the Sky Bar is a great place to hang out with a fantastic view of the strip. The only downside is the room refrigerators are crammed full of items for purchase so there is almost no room to put any of your own items and/or medications. I am guessing you could probably request another fridge if this is important to you. They really to aim to please. Speaking of service, the very best part about a stay here is the staff. They go above and beyond and the service they provide is the best you can find. They are incredibly friendly, anticipate your every need and every single staff member is cheerful and approachable. I cannot say enough good things about how impressed I was with the level of service. Other people who were attending the conference with us who stayed at different properties all seemed to have something that frustrated them. We only had wonderful things to say and we often felt like we were bragging. The only thing that could be improved is the food. The quality is not consistently great and the selections on the website vs. the actual ordering app are different both in offerings and price. The selection is also fairly limited and the pricing is very high - $34 for two eggs, potatoes, meat choice and tomatoes. WOW! Room service is pretty fast and the cart presentation is great but ice service is VERY slow. For specifics, the pepperoni extravaganza pizza has minimal pepperoni and the crust tasted similar to a store bought pizza. However, when we mentioned this, not only did the staff remove the item from our bill but they compensated us with a credit towards future dining. We LOVED their fried chicken and the acai breakfast bowl was really lovely, as well. NOTE: We also ordered some bacon and asked for it to be crispy and it came a little TOO crispy and was breaking into pieces so be specific with the amount of crispness you desire if that is a preference of yours. All in all, the Waldorf is a perfect place from which to have a home base while you are in Vegas. Vegas can cause sensory overload and a quiet, beautiful space with an incredible staff can be the difference between a wonderful experience and a stressful disaster. We look forward to our next visit! Thank you, Waldorf team, for being amazing! At a time when service is lacking and kindness can be a rare commodity, you showed us both are still alive and well.

Stayed at the Waldorf because of a reservation mix up at another hotel and boy am I glad!! The room was wonderful, service great, and really enjoyed the privacy of the outdoor rooftop pool. It's in the middle of everything but still private and quiet. I liked the relaxed, upscale atmosphere after being out on the strip.
