The Waldorf is situated nicely in the southern part of the strip tucked quietly away near the Aria, ParkMGM, and NYNY. They only have valet parking which is $35/day as the hotel is on the bottom half of a condo/hotel combination and they don't have a large parking lot themselves. The staff was all friendly but the front desk works hard to try and upsell you to a higher-priced room. We had a party of 3 (teenager + parents) so booked the 'King 500 sq ft room' which said 'sleeps 3' on their website - seemed like maybe they'd have a sofa or something to make 3 okay, but when I arrived I was told you just fit yourself tightly onto one bed, OR you can pay to upgrade. As a Diamond, I asked if they had any complimentary upgrades and they offered a slightly higher floor or 'strip view' but even the two-doubles was off limits (even w/o a view). I considered the upgrade but the cost to upgrade was MORE than me just reserving the room directly - I was told I was getting a 'Diamond discount' which didn't seem to be the case since the pricing was just their standard 'upgrade' rates. I know Vegas hotels are now squeezing margins, but for a Diamond who's stayed at many Waldorfs and also at nicer Vegas hotels (Four Seasons, Wynn, Aria), I think the way they upsell gives off a negative vibe which other hotels don't seem to do (they just don't offer it if you don't book it up front and don't talk about 'upgrades' to loyalty members who aren't big gamblers). Asked for 60 min late checkout of noon mid-week when I saw a ton of availability and was given the 'we can't promise now - seems like we're really busy on your day of departure' - we visited during a quiet week so it would've been nice if they offered that after paying quite a bit for the room nights. Lastly, room walls are thin - at 4am one night, our neighbor sounded like she was in our room talking and then making a lot of other noise which woke us up and kept us up. We thought sound-proofing of rooms could have been better. The plus is it's non-smoking and doesn't have a casino in it. The 9-6 pool hours seem extremely limited for practical use.

Hotel's Favourite
Quiet oasis near everything! I would definitely stay here again. Room was very clean and large. Beds were very comfy. I liked that the closets/changing area were separate from bedroom area so not waking anyone up if need to iron and get dressed before anyone else. Bathroom is huge. Double vanity, separate room for toilet, good water pressure in shower. Turn down service at night was a nice extra touch. Definitely recommend paying for the pretty “city view” to get Paris Eiffel Tower view. I liked that the hotel didn’t have a casino because it was a quiet retreat to escape to when done with the hustle and bustle of strip. Great location, CVS right downstairs, short walk to Aria, Park MGM. Service was excellent throughout hotel. The only inconvenience is that they are remodeling the main floor lobby, so right now you need take the elevator to 3rd floor, walk down a hallway and then take another elevator to the current 23rd floor lobby. They said should be done next month, not a deal breaker to me as the positives far outweigh this temporary issue. Highly recommend!

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, and after receiving a welcome email from my own "personal concierge", I was expecting a great experience at this upscale property we chose to spend our 37th wedding anniversary. First off, I never heard from Katie again after responding to her it was our anniversary and asking her for restaurants with vegan options. That should have been my first red flag. Then when we arrived, the check in line was very long, and we ended up waiting for an hour. We were told there were no complimentary upgrades available by the less than welcoming desk clerk (So much for Diamond perks!). We were handed a piece of paper and told we were eligible to receive $25. each in dining credits daily and that was it. The room was nice enough, horrible view of rooftops but at least it was clean and nice. On our last day, I tried to get a late check out so we could enjoy our morning and was told that the late check out was not available. Hmmm....a Diamond member is beginning to feel less than privileged! The hotel is nice and modern, no casino (which was fine) but I really felt less than bowled over and wouldn't recommend staying there to anyone I know. The customer service was worse than the last Doubletree I stayed at, where I felt appreciated for my loyalty. It made me wonder if using Hilton Honors points is really worth the cost of the credit card. I won't be back....shameful.

We were constantly bothered by the Las Vegas homeless population. It was out of control. We couldn’t escape it. It was very bad. Hotel did nothing but wanted to charge $1000 a night for this. I couldn’t believe the front desk response. They don’t care and told us to just deal with it, that all Of Las Vegas had problems. However most hotels in the area that are nicer have secruity for this.

Great hotel in the middle of everything. Wife and I came to Vegas for a quick Valentine’s Day trip. This was our first stay here and absolutely loved it. It’s great that there’s no casino in the hotel, allows you to decompress after coming in off the strip. Location is central to everything. Rooms are incredible. Get room 1101….great view of the Strip.

I was so excited to stay at this property for a solo weekend in Vegas to see Adele. It was incredibly quiet (which is what I was hoping for), yet close to all the hustle and bustle. There were a lot of events happening the weekend I was in town, so unfortunately, even as a Diamond member, I wasn’t able to have an upgrade, but my room was still very nice. The touch switches for the lights were sometimes finicky which wasn’t convenient when trying to turn a light on in the middle of the night, but definitely a first world problem. I did take advantage of a free yoga class, but it was just okay ( I am a yoga teacher myself and just felt the class was a bit too much on the “power” side of classes to be offering to a vast audience of levels). I would definitely stay here again as the proximity to Aria was really great, but then you could return to the peace and quiet of the Waldorf.

We went to the Waldorf for 3 days. Everything was amazing. As a diamond member, we were upgraded to an amazing strip view room. The room was spacious and well decorated. The bathroom was huge. The hotel bar was beautiful and had an amazing view of the strip. Breakfast at the hotel at Zen kitchen was amazing, the food was delicious, and service was great. The concierge was extremely helpful at picking out activities for us. The hotel had a car to drive us around the strip, which was amazing. One day we had our do not disturb on our door, and the hotel texted us, just in case we inadvertently left it on, but really wanted service. This was unprecented for us, and the all around service was just above and beyond. All in all a great stay, and we will definitely return

Let me tell you that Jake Greenberg at the Waldorf in Las Vegas is the best!!! He spotted a deposit I made from a 1.5 year old reservation that I made and canceled. Jake was able to contact corporate to help me receive my refund. Backstory... Jake actually contacted ME about this transaction several weeks ago, to help assist with my refund, 1.5 years later. I had totally forgotten about it. After many back and forth emails, with Jake, Hilton was able to ultimately facilitate a refund even after I changed my cc number attached to original reservation. Jake went above and beyond to facilitate this process and I will NEVER forget his professionalism and responsiveness in helping me receive my refund! Kudos to you Jake! So happy! This is why I am loyal to the Hilton brand! Thank you Jake!

I made a couple of team members laugh in the elevator when I told them "I wish I could live here." I had a wonderfully relaxing stay. Everyone was so kind. The room was very nice and spacious. The large sunken tub transported me to a simpler time. (smile) My massage, manicure and pedicure at the spa were top notch. Imelda greatly contributed to this oasis of calm. I so look forward to returning.

Location is perfect…central and on the strip but you feel a mile away as it’s quiet, clean, and really the best of the best. The entrance is set back and private. Staff keeps the scum and homeless away. If you don’t like that comment then stay at one of the dump properties down the road. It does make a difference and no one wants to deal with that stuff. Lobby is like a museum and staff were warm and welcoming. Concierge did an amazing job with helping coordinate tickets and events. The place is smoke, casino, and failure free 😂. Zen kitchen was delicious and worth the view and the price for a stress free breakfast. Hallways and carpet were spotless. The room was perfect in every way except there are a limited number of outlets. Beds, pillows, and blankets were very comfortable. TV size was perfect. All of the necessities were a phone call away or actually available in the room via the convenience bar or in the drawers. Carpet in the room was spotless. Closet and dressing area was a nice touch in addition to the valet closet for any needed deliveries. Very satisfied with this property! The fragrance they utilize is one of the most pleasant I have sensed at any Vegas property.
