Very big room and clean. Beds not very confortable as they are to soft. Free parking space at the hotel. Nice casino area on the ground floor. Very noisy. You hear every door and the guests from the rooms next to yours.

The drive to the Vegas Strip is only about 20 minutes. You leave the hotel and go straight down E Flamingo Road. You definitely want to have a car for the trip. It waste too much of your precious time and money taking taxis or Uber or whatever to get to the strip.
Things have changed on hotel parking on the Strip however. Before you could just park at one casino and leave your car there all day. It was free and you could walk to the other casinos nearby.
But on this last trip each of the major casinos had a fee to park in their garages. Now it is was NOT expensive (they don't want to scare off the gamblers). So what I do now is try to park at the casino closest to the middle of the strip and that way it is shorter walk in each direction on Las Vegas Boulevard to the other casinos.
That would be either the Bellagio, Paris Las Vegas or Planet Hollywood. Those locations kind of put you in the middle.
Another reason for wanting a car for your visit to Eastside Cannery, is that because it is on Boulder Highway, it is a shorter drive to the Hoover Dam. I recommend if you are in Vegas on a weekend, that you hit the Hoover Dam first thing in the morning, before its gets crowded.
