Two friends and I stayed in a one-bedroom which included a kitchen, comfortable bathroom, and washer/dryer. The bathroom had a large tub and a large shower as well as a separate sink/vanity outside the main bathroom which is always handy. The room was clean, comfortable, and updated with quality fixtures. Parking was easy in the garage next door. There was no housekeeping service during our stay but we were directed to just ask if we needed more supplies. We did not visit the pool or fitness areas. There are plenty of shopping and restaurant options nearby but you would want a car. We had an excellent room for a great price and all three of us were happy with our stay!

The Berkley in Las Vegas is a small timeshare resort, consisting of one 18 story building, with around 500 units. The building is in immaculate condition. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Although you don't get room service when staying a week or less, you can always ask and get clean towels, soap, and paper products if needed. They have an excellent weight/exercise room and a nice pool and hot tub. It is located next door to the Silverton casino, which provides several restaurants as well as a good gaming facility. Although it is next door to the casino, there was no issue with parking or crowds. One of the biggest, nicest Bass Pro Shops is connected to the casino. It is off of the main strip, but only a 10-15 minute drive to get to the south end of the strip. Although not necessary, I recommend having a car when I stay.

The Berkeley in Las Vegas is a block of apartments adjacent to the Silvertown casino. The block is a long way from the Strip, so you will need a car. There is a bus but it doesn’t come more than once an hour, even though they are scheduled every 30 minutes. The apartment itself is modern, clean and well laid out. There’s a comfortable queen sized bed and quality bedding and pillows. There are also 2 tv’s with a range of American only channels. The kitchen has a dishwasher, 2 x electric hob and a large fridge freezer. (Studio apartment). All cutlery, cups, plates etc are supplied and are in good condition. There’s also a free guest laundry on the 4th floor with a washing machine and a tumble dryer and a vending machine for soap powder. The reason I’m giving 4 and not 5 starts is because I specifically asked for a quiet room and one on the ground or first floor as I’m afraid of heights. I was put on the 5th floor, where there’s floor to ceiling glass and the room was the nearest to the 3 lifts that were running day and night. The room itself is soundproofed so you can’t hear your neighbours but the front door isn’t and the traffic and noise was endless. The Berkeley doesn’t have any restaurant facilities but the casino next door has a number of fast food and restaurant options and there is a garage with a convenience store attached nearby. Just cross the 8 lane interstate at the end of the road, which has a pedestrian crossing. Would I stay here again? Probably not. It’s too far out and unless you have an apartment at the end of the corridors, the noise would be prohibitive for me.

When we check in, they say ‘welcome home’. We did not feel welcome at the end of our stay. We made a mistake thinking our check out time was 11, when it was in fact 10. Definitely our mistake. We were given a ‘courtesy’ extra 30 minutes. At 10:35, a security guard was sent to our room to make sure we were leaving. Not housekeeping, a SECURITY GUARD, sent there to make sure we were leaving the premises. It was extremely embarrassing as our guest was still there. I felt like I was being treated like a criminal. We were clearly trying our best to get out of there as quick as we could (front desk even called to make sure we were leaving at 10:45). I already had a big cart loaded up that the security guard could see and it did take me 2 trips. He stood there the entire time (again, like I was a criminal in trying to stay longer). My guest told him that room B was clear and ready to be attended to and he didn’t even acknowledge her speaking to him. Very odd behavior. I’ve never felt more offended at a place that I’m an owner at and have spent over $12k to ‘enjoy these services’. My wife and I will NEVER stay at the Berkeley again. We’re really considering if we want to continue being owners with this company if there are other properties that are going to treat us like this. On a side note, another thing that bothered us, is that we weren’t even allowed to have extra towels. We were told ‘this is not a hotel and you have to wash your own towels. Come down and get laundry soap’. I’ve never been told that at any of your properties and we’ve stayed at several. The fold out couch mattress was very poor as well. My guest has booked a massage for tomorrow to help with how awful her sleep was

No luggage cart ramp on the side where the main parking lot is located. Dishes weren't clean. No whirlpool bath. Showe drained extremely slowly. Laundry soap, dish soap, toilet paper, etc. handed out like it was a prize commodity, had to request refills then pick them up yourself at the front desk. Had to wash your own towels. Impossible to find without calling and getting directions because technically it was the Silvergate, the Berkely sign was impossible to see until you knew you were actually going to the Silvergate. Very dissapointed!

We stayed at The Berkley in a 2 bedroom suite. The rooms were large, beds were comfortable and each room had it's own kitchen and living room. Hotel was across from the Silverton Casino and away from the Vegas Strip which was exactly what we wanted. We were only 15 minutes from all the action and far enough that it was peaceful and away from the crowds. The parking was free and we were charged a one time $75 total resort fee. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice looking rooms, bed fairly comfortable. Pool needs updating. Needs more working elevators. It took us a whole hour on our checkout date to get to lobby with luggage. I was drenched with sweat by the time we left. Also, they make you wash your own sheets and towels and you have to give them your ID to use a luggage cart. I’ll pass even for the price. I won’t stay at any of the resorts with this company ever again!

Really enjoyable stay, the unit is spacious and nicely appointed. Staff very friendly and accommodating, helpful with suggestions. Everything we needed was on hand and available in unit, pool towels, extra tissue, paper towels, etc. The unit is comfortable for a couple or small family. Nice and roomy bathroom with a separate vanity is a perfect addition to the unit. The kitchen is well stocked with good appliances and cookware. Ample parking and easy access to the garage or out door lot. Driving or walking is convenient to many food places, shopping and casino.

1st time at the Berkley Las Vegas. Nice with large rooms. Clean and comfortable. A few issues with the front desk staff. Upon arrival 4 clerks were seen but 2 were busy chatting with each other as people were standing in line to check in. Then after we were checked in we had to go to another line and wait for a parking pass. We asked for a luggage cart and received one with a flat tire that was impossible to push. Later in the week we asked for 1 extra kitchen dish towel and were denied any towels. Were told they did not have any extra towels other than the ones in the room. A gold crown resort with RCI and not even one extra kitchen dish towel??? The staff was not helpful at all. One package of dishwasher soap was provided. We rented a 2 bedroom for 4 people. We were there a week. Staff was not friendly or helpful. The security person was on his phone or on a smoking break most of the time. Just not Gold Crown service I am used to.

We have travelled to Vegas many times , and this was our first off strip stay. Our accommodations were excellent; good size rooms, very comfortable and clean, well furnished with a well appointed full kitchen. Property is exceptionally maintained, and the outdoor seating area was a quiet welcome refuge at the end of the say. Being right next door to the Silverton Casino with their great selection of restaurants was an added bonus. Quick Uber ride to the strip…we never waited more than 5-10 minutes for a ride. After this stay, we have no plans to stay on the strip again.

We stayed at the Berkeley in November. At the time, there were no extra fees. No resort fee, plenty of free parking. So the posted price is what you’ll pay. No add ones.
There are more places to choose from in the Las Vegas area.
