If you are broke, This place is for you. Very cheap hotel and by cheap I mean ghetto, old, stinky. You will get charged $8.00 extra per night if you are staying at this hotel it is MANDATORY! Far from the STRIP. Ghetto surroundings Quality of the food: I'd rather eat at a school cafeteria. Taste pretty much the same... More

A disclaimer: I live in a state where smoking has been banned from public places for many years, so I'm no longer accustomed to having to endure secondhand smoke. However, during my recent trip to Las Vegas, the Stratosphere stunk like smoke wherever I went: hallways, casino floor, exercise room, restaurants---even inside the elevator! Note to all of you smokers... More

This was our first time in Las Vegas, I was little worry at first about the hotel because it was my husband's birthday and I wanted to make it extremely special for him and most of the reviews were not satisfactory. So we got there on a Saturday afternoon, and because I had already spent way too much money on... More

My first time staying here and the only thing that I was not pleased with, was the fact that they didn't have free WiFi and I was not going to pay 11.99 per day. As for the location, since I like both the Strip and old downtown , this was perfect. However, in agreement with one of the other reviews... More

We had a good experience at the hotel, we only needed to sleep and it was good, beds are good and clean, we stayed 4 days, but Saturday was the worst one our neighbor was very noisy all night was opening and closing the door very hard and talking very loud, it felted like he was inside our room, far... I stayed at the Stratosphere two years ago with my family, in the context of a West USA roadtrip. Being 18 when we were there, Las Vegas wasn't really nice for me. But I won't let this bother my review. When we arrived, we drove into the huge hotel driveway (I've never seen something similar in Switzerland - where I... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and returned home today; 11 Feb/13. We were dropped off by the airport shuttle and headed toward the far distant registration desk. We had not made it more than 15 meters into the place before someone approached us offering some "comps". Since we had never been to Vegas before and had not spent a... More

the stratosphere is a nice hotel, however it has found itself a good 15-20 minute walk from the rest of the main strip hotels, and the walk isn't that appealing. The hotel itself was nice enough and clean, we had a a decent view of the strip. The tv in the room wasn't great it had a shocking picture, the... More

I had booked my room at the Stratosphere for a promotional rate so low that I thought I'd be lucky if the bed had sheets. I was pleasantly surprised when the bellman--who was quite helpful--opened the door to a sitting room , which led to a very nice bedroom. For less than the cost of most meals, I had a... More
