I stayed at Luxor 14 years ago and enjoyed it. Fast forward to today and time has not been kind! .....Public areas still look fairly smart but the rooms are getting grimy and smelly. Housekeeping was so-so with different service each day in terms of number of towels left and personal stuff moved around. This is probably a Vegas problem...

Stayed here for a few days on my last trip to Las Vegas. The hotel is great, the rooms are clean, the drinks are reasonably priced. Parking is cheap. The only downside was the floor above me was under construction and I was woken up multiple mornings by loud noise above me.

it was a nice but huge hotel. The rooms are big but a bit outdated. The stores inside hotel are exceptionally expensive, eg 2 bottles of water USD 15. Just go to the strip and buy 2 bottles for 2 bucks. I found it strange that there are 2 different swimming pools. The left pool is probably for the "...

When I grew up. I didn't think twice about symbolism. Today? A whole new ballgame. 1. I have vowed to never stay again at this hotel because of what it stands for. 2. The Hotel itself is fine. You get what you pay for. 3. I get points through Expedia so I use it to book all Hotel rooms. 4....

Had a blast like always in Vegas. I love staying at the Luxor but I would not recommend staying in the towers. Those rooms are no where near as nice as pyramid rooms. The tower rooms are also very far from the casino and after a night of drinking not so much fun trying to find your room in the...

Stayed at Luxor in the East Tower (18th floor, "Strip" view) over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend. Out of the places I've stayed on the strip so far, I'd consider Luxor Tower rooms to be a step above Bally's and Planet Hollywood as far as room cleanliness and wear & tear, but below Venetian and Bellagio (as expected). The casino...

First time visit to Vegas so we we're sure what hotel to stay at. We decided on the Luxor as all hotels are oversized in Vegas and each have their own theme/touch but this hotel is truly original...a pyramid! Our room's view was onto the strip and if u stayed in the pyramid (it also has another section in a...

The rooms are very spacious, but somewhat dated. We weren't looking for the glitzy Vegas experience, and the room was clean, quiet, and affordable, so the Luxor served us well. I was a little disappointed that housekeeping didn't clean our rooms after the first night. When I called to complain, they indicated that if we had the "do not disturb"...

As a first time visitor to Las Vegas I chose Luxor on a whim. It was economical and clean and I enjoyed my stay there. The buffet and the on-site restaurants were very convenient when you don't have a rental car. The food was pricey, but then again I think most everything in Vegas is.

Upgraded to a suite in the Pyramid, very bad choice. Elevators dirty and old. Rooms are clean but very dated. No coffee pots, or microwave. Bathroom is a decent size only one sink and shower area very dark. Small shower. Room had a cigarette smoke smell. The positive was the size of the suite was very spacious and the bed...
