After a long day on the convention floor, it's good to stay someplace clean, smoke free, that really is more of an apartment than a hotel. The restaurant is rarely more than a ten minute wait without reservations, the food is terrific, and the staff is exceptional. No walking through a casino, no smoke, no crowded restaurants, and it's easy to get a cab in the front back to the convention center (10 minutes @8am). Great view from the rooms also.

Hotel's Favourite
There’s a lot of conflicting information on The Trump Hotel so I thought I’d share our experience! Location : Just barely (the tiniest bit) off the strip. 8-10 minute walk to TI, mostly down Fashion Show Drive which is a little empty at night. Closest hotel to the North is Resort World which is about a 15-20 minute walk. Biggest complaint is definitely the proximity to the train. It can be loud. Hotel : Is it a little dated? Yes. Even being a little dated, is it still nicer than all the other places at a similar price point? Absolutely! It is clean, good quality, and the rooms and bathrooms are BIG with full size windows. The only complaint about the rooms is that the windows aren’t as soundproof as you might expect so there can be some road noise. House keeping came everyday but only remade the bed. Didn’t touch towels or throw away empty water bottles on bedside table. Dining : It is undeniably lacking for dining options. DJT is one half of the lobby. It feels like you’re eating at a Holiday Inn Restaurant. They serve the same small menu for lunch and dinner. There is a small coffee cart with expensive coffee and limited pastries for breakfast. Very different from most Vegas hotels. Staff : 10/10! Friendly and helpful! Check in was super quick. The bellman was super fast and full of good information. Had a small issue with our key and they fixed it way faster than I expected! Atmosphere : WAY more quiet than casino hotels. Doesn’t smell like smoke, or perfume to cover it up. Felt incredibly safe. No shenanigans in halls at 4 am. We loved it!

First thing I did was send pics home of how nice the room accommodations are. Was concerned not right on strip, but walk to strip not bad at all, and if you have been in Vegas before you know you are going to have to Uber downtown or to the other end anyway. I will be back.

The Trump was very clean and has an excellent location and spacious suites. We enjoyed our stay in a smoke-free hotel without a casino. The pullout bed was not comfortable (very thin mattress) and we ended up adding another room to our suite. If you have stayed in Trump NYC, be prepared for a less well appointed room and drastically reduced service however the price reflects that. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

We vacation twice a year in Vegas at Hilton-Trump, as a safe and very clean resort with excellent service and large pool. Friends (older couple) joined us and were very impressed with what Trump has to offer. Large rooms, nice kitchen, hot tub, view of Sphere, security, etc. Short walk to casinos and Caesars, Fashion Show mall and restaurants across the street. No resort fees and complimentary valet parking. Reservations this month and again in the fall.

Needs to be updated and modernized , as this is not what I expected for a trump plaza. The place is comfortable and clean and quick roomy, but the gawdy gold Color needs to go, and the place needs to be refreshed. This is not a place I would stay again at , but my style

I was taken by surprise on how disappointing this hotel stay was. I used my credit card's travel program to set up the accommodations. I specifically paid for a room with two beds because I was traveling with my 13-yr-old old. There was a less expensive king bed option, but I paid extra to have 2 beds. When I arrived at the hotel, they had put me in a King bed room. The gentleman at the counter very rudely stated that I paid for a king bed. I tried to show him my emailed receipt showing otherwise and he wouldn't even look. He then stated "well, we didn't approve it because we sold out of all of those rooms. You will have to take it up with your credit card company". I had no idea I had to be approved for something I specifically paid for, but his attitude was the worst part. The room included a very uncomfortable pull-out sofa, so I called and asked if they could send additional bedding to make it more comfortable. I wanted to go get dinner, but I waited for housekeeping first. I waited about 45 minutes and had to call again because they never showed up. The gentleman was very nice during both phone calls, but why did I have to call twice? They came the 2nd time. We soon discovered that the jets in our tub didn't work. We tried numerous times with different instructions from the staff and the tub was never functional, so we asked for someone to come to take a look at it. They said they would send "engineering". We waited about 1.5 hours and then we had to leave. Engineering never showed up and we never heard from them. I can't remember having such repeated poor service or being treated so rudely in any establishment. I always greet people with a smile and I do expect the same, especially on vacation. I had such high hopes for this hotel.

The hotel was outdated compared to other hotels. Our flight was canceled and they put us up at this hotel. I asked for any other hotel but this was the only one they had available. The staff was rude and unhelpful. Room was dated, smells bad like it was not aired out or ac was not turned on. Plus, the room seems dirty like it was rushed to clean. There was a stain in and around the kitchen area. We asked for another room and was told this what the airline paid for. The food was over priced and not very good for the food credits we got. For a man think his hotels are great no so. Tasteless gold every wear. I seen new hotels and timeless hotels do a better job. I would so what a dump. I seen a a basic Hilton hotel better than this. He run his hotels like he ran the country….crappy . Trying to screw everyone over. There are better deals and better places to stay in Vegas.

We have stayed at other Trump properties, and frankly, none of them were really up to snuff. But this one really isn't very good, so many nicer properties to stay at. It's tired and everything is a little worn looking. I mean, the shears were practically shredded.
