If you are afraid of roaches, then this is the place for you, because even they won't stay here. The place is a dump. Convenient right off the highway. Clerk was nice(creepy). Place had carpet from the 70s and blankets/comforters to match. Room reeked. Carpet was worn. Towels looked used and dirty. A professional crack addict would have a hard...

Terrible motel, absolutely filthy! Food on the floor of the closet, mold in the bathroom, sheet (just one, NO top sheet - ugh!) looked unclean and very thin, blanket had cigarette burn holes in it, smelled dusty. Washcloth had something - dead bug, or whatever stuck to it. Air conditioner and refrigerator did not work. Room door not secure unless...

Stuck in town at 4am due to a busted race truck, we needed a place to stay. Nobody else would answer their night bell - so that earns this place points. The night manager was a hoot, great guy if a bit disturbing. The rooms though... oh god the rooms. Apparently mine was one of the better ones (no dead...

My daughter and I had the honor of staying at this gem, Wednesday night August 6, 2014, because of a mudslide that shut down the only highway to Las Vegas. I knew when I walked in the motel office I should have turned around and gone elsewhere! But, in Hawthorne, Nevada your choices are very limited. The gentleman at the...

Bad hotel but great stories.... We asked for a quiet non-smoking room and they gave us what they called 'our largest and best room'....sad.... It was on a city street on the back side of the motel...and quiet, I'll give them that. A section of this motel on the 'front' side was assigned to folks as their full time homes....

We stayed here in the week between Christmas 2013 and New Year's for one night. The manager was welcoming, venturing outside to show us where to park our camping trailer. The room felt well insulated - we had the thermostat at 58 degrees and it was toasty, despite temperatures of 18 degrees outside overnight. The price was reasonable at $44,...

My husband and I stayed back in September and had a fabulous time. The hotel is showing it's age, but since this is a VERY small town, I had no fancy expectations. Every member of the staff (well, 3) that we encountered were pleasant and friendly. Mike (? the gentleman running the office) even offered to make us coffee later...

What can I say. The rooms are $29 plus tax for a single. My room was spacious, came with a mircowave and fridge and good cable. It was clean but smelled very slightly of a dog. The heater was good. Wi-fi was excellent although it might have been because I was located in room 125 right above the office. The...

This motel has a sweet housekeeper/night auditor named Michelle and a great pet policy, however, if you want to compare it to a hotel that has more competition in a bigger city I will tell you like it is. The decor is outdated. The bathrooms are surprisingly clean yet as worn as the carpets and mattresses. I would question the...
