Room was clean and comfortable. Towels were plush and soft. We traveled about an hour in a snow storm and were so grateful for the comfy, cozy room.. a nice respite! Adequate off-street parking. Pleasant staff.

On our way back to Canada from Arizona, we often plan to have our first overnight stay in Ely. We had stayed at the Ramada and La Quinta in the past, until we discovered the Bristlecone a couple of years ago. This motel could be considered a 4 star property without the high price. . I have found the staff...

Stayed here based on Trip Advisor reviews. Room was very clean and comfortable. Towels were amazingly soft. We were also pleasantly surprised and how quiet the room was. Just coffee, fruit and donuts for breakfast but that was okay. Staff were very nice and helpful. Would stay here if we ever travel to Ely again.

Well maintained facility with nice staff. Short walk to a nearby Mexican restaurant. Might be tough to park a big RV. Noticed an an outlet at the base of their highway sign that would be good for winter-time diesel plug-in.

The staff here were warm & friendly, the room was clean and nice, especially for a tiny town like Ely. We needed a pet friendly place and liked the other reviews, but since everything was covered in snow, we did not have much chance to check the grassy areas. There was no microwave, but there was a small frig. The...

We stayed at the Bristlecone 2 separate nights on our way to/from Great Basin National Park. Our rooms were clean and quiet on both visits. The breakfast is limited, but they don’t promise much either so it wasn’t a surprise. We will choose the Bristlecone on our next visit to Ely.

Our stay at the Bristlecone was a very pleasant experience after having stayed in many corporate /chain owned motels. The exterior is welcoming and clean. Our desk clerk was friendly and efficient. Our room was up to date, modern, whatever you want to call it. Everything in Ely is old so imagine our surprise! The two queen beds were comfortable...

The outside appearance was excellent, well tended grass and pleasant seating. Parking spaces are at a premium we were pleased to be able to walk to a restaurant and keep our space. The rooms are adequate but tired and the bathroom needs modernizing. Out toilet rocked and rolled!! An OK stay if you are passing through and better than most...

Thank you for taking the time to review us. Our motel is older and we are currently updating our rooms. So if you pass through again stop in and ask for an updated room. Thank you again

When in parts of Nevada the motel pickings can be very slim. We were lucky in finding this place (using TripAdvisor). It is a small "mom-and-pop" place that prides itself in maintaining a clean and pleasant property. The dog friendly grounds provide extremely this real grass that is very clean. (Apparently the owners spray is clean every day.) Our room...
