Admittedly, Motel 6 is not a fancy hotel. But they do not claim to be that either. For a 2 star hotel, they delivered well. The room was clean, the beds comfortable enough. There were little to no amenities, but I did get a bonus when the clerk told me that although they did not have a pool, they had...

Room 101. clean, brightly painted, comfortable bed, hot water, fairly quiet. Smoky hallway. Very poor check in area, had to fight through many standing in line for service to bring in luggage. Understaffed. Very noise exhaust fan in bathroom. and you have to have in on to have light. Ridiculous. No boxes of Kleenex/tissue. no alarm clock. cutting too many...

My wife and I spent three days in March exploring Death Valley, Beatty, Nevada was a great place to stay for this purpose, and the Motel 6 just hit the spot. It was clean, efficient, good basic accommodation. Everything in the room worked and it was very quiet. No breakfast, but for $68/night what do you expect? Just 50 yards...

I really liked this Motel 6. I don't normally stay at there but in the little town of Beatty it seemed a good choice. I wasn't disappointed. The room was new and clean. Hard surface floors. No shampoo. I asked for and got a hair dryer. The walls were either very thin or I had noisy neighbors. It was as...

As other reviewers observed, this place is basic. No frig or wave in the room, no breakfast, no free wifi, few toiletries. Given that, it's a good night's sleep. The rooms and beds are basic but adequate, and surprisingly updated. They do have coffee in the lobby, and an ice machine to keep your snack cooler cool. As a family...

I'm never going to go higher than 3/5 for a Motel 6 because they are so basic. I would also say that I am not a fan of the chain and only stayed here because there were no other rooms available. However this is a good motel for the price, as with all Motel 6's its basic, no fridge, no...

We stayed for two nights during a time of widespread flooding throughout Death Valley. The price was cheap and it allowed pets. Due to the cheap price it lacked some amenities i normally take for granted, like a coffee maker and shampoo and such. Fortunately we brought our own coffee, but we should also have brought cups. Because of all...

I stayed here during a recent visit to Death Valley, and was not disappointed. I'm normally a camper, so the luxury of a nightly shower and a clean bed (that I don't have to zip up) is awesome. That luxury may skew my perception a bit, but honestly, this place was great. I was really surprised by the size of...

Clean, basic motel. As other reviewers have noted, plumbing noise radiates from adjacent rooms. It's about a 30 minute drive from Death Valley, but you're trading price and availability of a few services (reasonably priced gas, Subway, dollar store) for a commute. Third floor is quieter than first floor. I agree with other reviewers regarding food. Try Subway or KC's...

I stay here two times a year when I explore Death Valley. One reason is that the places in the Valley are three times as expensive and not much better. Second, I like to get on the road around six AM and be over Daylight Pass when the sun comes up. The views of the Valley are better than Stovepipe...
