Pleasant hotel with country views but near busy roads, however set back so peaceful sleep. Attractive dining area for eating breakfast with some outside space. Nearby pubs for meals/pub quiz. Ask staff for details as they were able to direct us when we asked for a real ale pub with food etc (nearby village - short taxi ride away)

Booked a deluxe room so the review is written in this context. Decent size room, good fittings with quality curtains and nice touches like the chocolates and the 2 small bottles of wine. However the room was let down by the stains on the ceiling, the narrowness of the duvet, the convector heating- greenhouse when on, freezer when off, the...

We held my husband's 60th (115 people) at Judds Folly on Friday. An outstanding evening!! A huge THANKYOU to Jason, Janet and her team, the chefs, the guys at the bar, the disco, and everyone who helped make it such a memorable evening. You were so organised, the food was amazing (so many people complimented the buffet and desserts), and...

We decided to go away for a weekend somewhere quiet. The hotel was busy but in a lovely quiet location not too far off the A2 and easy to locate. Reception friendly and as our room was ready, we were able to take our bags. The room was located furthest from the bar area, but not a too long walk,...

Each year me, my wife, her brother and wife spend three days visiting various places around the UK. October/November is a quiet time of the year and this year we visited Canterbury, Leeds Castle and the Docks at Chatham. Judd's Folly was ideally placed for our mini-tour. We had the chalet accommodation at the rear of the hotel. Nice and...

Arrived at the Hotel earlier than check-in time so planned on having a drink whilst the room was made ready, to our delight, it was all done so we were able to go to the room early. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was huge and very comfortable. Had a lovely bathroom (room 37). It was lovely and...

Had a lovely weekend with friends at this hotel, recommend room 24 for bathroom facilities. Top quality breakfasts although to be fair all food was great... All the staff that we had dealings with were excellent and very helpful. Cannot recommend enough!

We held our annual Navy Association reunion at Judds Folly for the first time and it was as good as any others we've tried around the country. It's in a nice quiet spot. The hotel is a little dated but very comfortable and the staff were first class - nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent...

The staff were great and really helpful. Breakfast had real sausages and fresh baked tomatoes. However, the whole place needs refurbishment, particularly the bathroom and the external area. It seems to have lost it's identity. Is it a hotel or a B&B, a holiday home location or a health centre? All these things can work together but Judds Folly is...

Dear Guest Thank you for your comments, I am pleased that you found the staff and Breakfast good as these are two of the things we do pride ourselves on. I do however think your comment on the whole place needing refurbishing is quite rude and offensive. It really is down to personal taste. We have just hit the winter...

We are returning this year for our work Christmas party because last year everyone loved it. Food was great, the hotel itself and the rooms were fab. Everything you would possibly need in your hotel room if you are staying and breakfast in the morning is included in the price. Excellent! We look forward to this years party!
