The Kandahar staff was excellent! Very friendly, willing to help, and have a vast knowledge of the area. My only complaint is that they should offer a full service breakfast. The Snug bar was great, the Kandahar cafe is lovely, but it is a gormet dinning experience, not meant for a famiy on a budget, but worth the expense if...

Kandahar Lodge was really beautiful but the customer service experience was sub-par. The front desk men acted like we were an inconvenience and they weren't very helpful when it came to answering questions about parking, the restaurant, the hot tub, etc. We skied all day, went to dinner, got back to the hotel around 9:00 and the hot tub closes...

You are not just in a hotel but feel at home here! Great place to just"relax" for getting up in the morning and grabbing a coffee and sitting by the lobby huge fireplace or a long day on the hill to hit the steam room and hot pool! Total heaven.

We had an excellent stay at the Kandahar Lodge. Loved the room! We had a loft which was a much larger room than we needed for the two of us, but it would be a great room for a family on a ski vacation. In the evenings it was lovely to sit in the great room by the fire and...

This is a great lodge for skiing the big mountain resort. It is more ski in than ski out but it makes up for that in the atmosphere within the lodge. The bar is great and the breakfast is also wonderful>

This cozy lodge is a great place for both couples and families and has a country European vibe while still being very much Montana. The Snug Bar is a perfect place to pop in for a glass of wine or casual dinner and the restaurant is outstanding. This place has it all without being pretentious.

We were in 211 for a week. There is a full kitchen, but a dorm room-sized fridge. Problem with it: no thermostat and it froze some of our food. Additionally, we had a cooler. We ate most meals here. The maid service was good...we tipped. No dishwasher except us! There is no elevator. If you have any knee pain or...

Great spot for friends who just want to ski all weekend and have a nice spot to sleep at night. Breakfast was free and tasty, it is basically ski in/out, there is a cool little bar and a comfortable waiting area. Hot tub is nice, too!

We were here on a "stay-cation" as we live close by. We purchased a package at a local charity auction that included Kandahar, so from the start, I appreciate that they, as a business, support their local community. The lodge is charming, it feels like you're walking into a cozy mountain chalet where you will relax with family. There's a...

The Kandahar is an old time ski lodge, very warm and inviting. The staff is outstanding, Montana friendly, and you feel at home right away. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Afire is kept burning all the time in the large rock fireplace in the lobby.
