Loved this friendly, comfy, and artfully furnished place. Stayed here with my tween daughter for one night and we so enjoyed it. Lynon and Kirtlye arranged so that we could stay in the 4-bed room with other females. The beds were very comfy and the bathroom area was super clea

While we went only for lunch, we chatted a long time with the two entrepreneurial sisters who have opened this very affordable place for friends and singles looking for a cheap but clean place to stay. They dorm style beds and they serve lunch etc for anyone even if they do not s

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I stayed a few times during a trip to Glacier. They were so accommodating and even let me use the backyard to dry out my camping gear after four very wet/cold days in the back-country. The two sisters (owners) provided amazing

We need to spend 1 night in Whitefish. We are an older couple traveling with a white golden therapy dog. Do you allow well behaved working dogs? Debra
I'm a female Brit travelling to Montana in June and would like to stay in a hostel for around a week. As I'm alone I would like to stay somewhere where the guests mingle and there are maybe organised tours and stuff. Also need to be near a store as I won't have a car. Is this the place? Any advice appreciated, Natalie
Hi Natalie, Sorry it took us so long to respond, but we somehow overlooked your message! Our hostel is close to just about everything in town; there is a store only 1/2 block from the hostel, the train station and downtown are only 2 blocks away, and Whitefish Lake & River are only a 10 min walk. The only thing you'll find inaccessible without a car is Glacier National Park as it is 35 miles from the town of Whitefish. To get to the Park, you will either have to rent a car, hitch a ride with someone or take the train. If you have any other questions or would like to make a reservation, please call the hostel or email us directly. There is also additional information on our website. Cheers, Kirtlye & Lynon Whitefish Hostel

hi do you have any family rooms? We are a couple with a 7 & 10yr old looking for 1 night on 21 July. thanks
Hi! We have a 4 & 6 bed dorms so you could potentially book the 4 bed dorm and have a room to yourselves. Everything else is communal including bathrooms and lounge area. We have a cafe in the hostel and therefore do not have kitchen access for our guests but we do have fridge & hot water access. The cost would be $154 for the night for all 4 of you. Please call us if you wish to make this reservation. Best Regards, Whitefish Hostel 406-863-9450

"the 4-bed room has 2 sturdy bunk beds; the door can be closed if desired"
"Dorm rooms and bunk beds (though we did not stay there), cheap, clean , friendly, homely"
"2 rooms, 10 twin size beds, 6 of which are bunked, the rest are single without a top bed"
"There are no private rooms. Request a lower bunk or no bed when you make your reservation."
"Only two rooms to choose from and all bunks but if it's not full and you're not travelling solo see if you can get the 4 bed dorm to yourselves."
