We stayed here in July, in a two bedroom unit. The views were great and the space was comfortable for the two of us. The unit had a fireplace, full kitchen, and a king bed in the loft, with two twin beds in the second bedroom. We did not cook, but ate at several restaurants in Whitefish and Columbia Falls.... My husband and I stayed at Edelweiss in the summer. We were vacationing and wanted a full kitchen to prepare breakfast and pack a lunch for the day. Our day was spent outside in all the wonderful activities. The days were hot but the condo was wonderfully cool upon return each day. The condo kitchen had everything we needed. I... More

I spent time here with my friends as they booked the place through the owners. It was a furnished rental but to the barebones. I know my friend brought some of her own pots/pans as a little slim she felt. It was so nice to have a kitchen. Fix up something for a quick lunch break then off again skiing.... More

Unit was nicely decorated. Bed super comfy and good heating system! Unfortunately, I could hear the people below me, snoring! Also--some genius installed the smoke detector over the bed so I had a green laser beam directly over me. The upstairs had no door--so you could not be watching TV on a different channel than the one downstairs. The washing... More

Perhaps because we exchanged our lovely, much more upscale RCI timeshare, we were much more disappointed by the Edelweiss than the other reviewers to date. We felt like we got very little value for our money. While the location is excellent, and I imagine even better in the winter for avid skiers, there is little else to commend this resort.... More

We were there between seasons, end of May 2014. Even though the road through the middle of the park was still closed by snow, we had a great time exploring the west side of Glacier National Park by car and hiking. The helicopter tour is fantastic. We also enjoyed Whitefish a lot. Check out their Tuesday evening Farmers' Market and... More

This was our first trip to Whitefish & our first experience with ski in/ ski out accommodations & we loved it! We were a short walk to the chairlifts & our condo was lovely. We had a nice deck with a view of the mountains & of the lights of Whitefish at night. We used the fireplace every night &... More

Summer at Edelweiss /Big Mountain is great. This is not a luxury accommodation but it has all that one needs. Easy to take the lift up to the top of the mountain for a great hike back down. Lots of mt bikers enjoy this place but there is lots to do without a bike: hiking, meals and ice cream in... More

4 of us were in room 205 for 5 nights and it was the most perfect location in the building and the jacuzzi was directly below our unit. We walked only a few steps to the chair one and two. The unit had everything we needed but could use more lighting in the bedrooms. The plumbing was running slow in... More

Our party stayed for a week at Edelweiss in two units (both 1 BR) obtained through an RCI exchange. We travel out west to ski each winter and the destination is the first priority, accommodations second. This was our second trip to Whitefish and first stay on the mountain. First the pros: Location, it just doesn't,t get much better than... More
