This very quaint hotel is in good hands with the new owners. Everything was done professionally from the front desk clerk to housekeeping. Very quiet and restful setting. Whether walking around West Yellowstone are driving into Yellowstone Park the location was excellent. I am recommending this hotel to all.

We highly recommend staying at the Madison Hotel! The staff was extremely accomadating to our family with three children. I was traveling with frozen breastmilk and they were more than willing to provide a freezer (unlike other hotels during our stay). The rooms were clean. The hotel was close to West Yellowstone entrance and within walking distance to many great...

We stayed here at the end of June 2016. We didn't know we would be staying in the cinderblock rooms behind the actual historic part of the hotel until we checked in. Not what we expected at all. Although the room was for the most part was clean and the beds were clean and comfortable the bathroom was horrible. A...

We were lucky to find availability for the Madison hotel while traveling in yellowstone this August. The rooms were incredibly beautiful ( we stayed both in the dorms and in the private rooms) and the staff were super nice! It is also located just 2 minutes from the park's Western entrance which was very convinient. We had a fantastic time...

For the first time ever, at a hotel, we had more than enough easily accessible outlets to charge our phones, kindles, & other accessories! There was access to free hot chocolate (our kids took full advantage of this and loved it) 24 hours each day just inside the hotel! The lodging was great and my little family of 5 (three...

Very comfortable room, good old style setting and very nice and helpful staff. Very close to Yellowstone's west entrance at a reasonable price. We stayed in the motel portion which is located in a motor court behind the old historic lodge. The rooms are very clean with a "lodge" feel. We used the room basically as a place to sleep....

We stayed in the main building. Very quaint and charming! As long as you are open to something a little different, this is a neat experience. The desk clerk was very kind and even offered us a private spot to park our motorcycle. Our room was small with a beautiful antique dresser. The tiny window AC kept it comfortable and...

I thought that we would be staying in the Historic Hotel. Our room was more like a motor court from the 50s. When we checked in the desk clerk was not friendly. We did not feel welcomed. The air conditioner was a window unit that was loud. If the air conditioner was used you could not close the curtain to...

We usually stay at a local timeshare but were unable to get a bonus night for the one night we stayed in route home from a long road trip. We wanted to drive in through the Park, stay the night, drive back out through the Park and home to Colorado. I was pleased with our stay. I was charmed by...
